6 of us went for brunch on Mother's Day. We had made a reservation. We were all in Naples to attend a destination wedding. We were seated on time, even though it was bustling. Chill vibe, good music, not too loud. We ordered several coffees and alcoholic wake-me-ups. More than 5 minutes later, one coffee arrives, followed a few minutes later by a Bloody Mary, 5-10 minutes later a cappuccino, another period of down time before a couple more drinks appear. Long sorry short, the beverage order took over 30 minutes to be complete. When we asked the waiter why the holdup, he said something about the cappuccino machine not cooperating. That's fine, but wouldn't it have been great to proactively tell us of the issue, rather than we get very grouchy and have to ask you what the problem is? The rest of the visit went better. The omelette, avocado toast, and various types of Benedict's were very good. And the portions were generous, to be sure. Everything was tasty and the experience ended on a happy note. They could have earned a 5 in spite of the feisty cappuccino machine if they had just told us. read more

Took two young girls here, 3 and 5, for a very special night out, they dressed like princesses, we went right when they opened so they didn't interrupt anyone's dinner, we were the only people inside. Wife and I split the "filet mignon steak skewers" which were subpar. Very tough, overcooked, hard time believing they were filet. There was no kids menu but they were very accommodating by offering buttered noodles for the girls. Buttered noodles, just a small bowl of noodles with butter. Perfect, got the bill and they charged 32 dollars for two small bowls for buttered noodles. 16 bucks a pop. lol read more

The Chef stopped by our table to see if everything was prepared to our liking. The pancakes were fabulous, the Coffee was about the best I have ever had. Dining at Lavender Cafe & Bistro was a true delight! Just as the name implies, I felt as if I was in a lavender garden. Everything from the chairs, tableware, and artwork was a true reflection of how beautiful this quaint cafe is. Upon arrival, my husband and I were immediately impressed by the service. Our waiter was very attentive and ensured our dining experience went smoothly. The owner even came out to personally greet us and make sure we were enjoying our meal! We ordered Shakshuka with beef sujuk and the Tiramisu French toast. It was the perfect combination of savory and sweet. My mint tea even came in its own warming tea kettle. The presentation of the food was impeccable and the hospitality was unmatched. We received a preview of the dinner menu and were very impressed. Four of us went for a breakfast. We sat outside and the ambiance is very good. I ordered their house speciality of Scrambled eggs with tomatoes with feta cheese. . The dish was tasteless. The toast was yellowish color, no idea what type and was limp. The capppucino was served in a plastic cup! No froth and cup was 2/3 full. Very pricey. I left 3/4 of my breakfast and the waitress did not even ask me if I liked the food or not. Very sad indeed. read more
