Most of the sunflowers were gone but I was able to cut a few for a vase at home. I can't imagine how pretty it was in full bloom. There were still raspberries to pick and beautiful wildflower fields to pick from. There is a corn maze, pumpkin patches and a fun enchanted garden to wanter through. We went in to the store and asked because it was after three and found out there is an admission booth further down on the field. We made our way down there and paid the admission and were each given a small bag to pick apples. Most of them were roped off except for the last few rows. In the way to that they had some really cute photo opps in a Zinnia field and in a sunflower field. The lady in the store yelled at my son in law for standing by a rope to look at the cider. Other than a few missteps, we thought it was worth the trip. The only downfall is there was no food to eat except for snacks. The donuts are only on Sat. And Sunday.

The headlining music acts were good, although the two main stages seemed miles apart, especially in 50-degree weather. We've been working with Rebecca for a few months now and been really enjoying it and learning a few things! We stared out learning the basic steps and a few turns to a lot of styles and then progressed further with the style we chose for our first dance ending with a choreographed ~2:15 minutes. There was one lesson that felt a bit too sales-y for me trying to get us to signup for a longer package but other than we enjoyed everything. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and encouraging. Rebecca made sure to teach us at a pace we could keep up with (we're total dancing novices so slow learners sometimes!) and gave us homework to practice to stay sharp between lessons. We performed our dance at one of the parties and even though we were definitely some of the worst dancers there everyone (instructors and other students alike) was so complimentary and kind. Rebecca even did my hair and makeup beforehand so it really felt like a special occasion! If you are feeling nervous about a first dance and want something more formal or just want to become a better dancer I definitely recommend checking out this studio!

We have our standbys: - Brad & Harry's Cheese Curds: THE best cheese curds at the fair, this is not a discussion - Cookie Dough on a Stick: The quality has been deteriorating over the last several years, and the price keeps going up. This will be the last time I get this. Time for a new dessert tradition! - Racing Pigs: Always a favorite; short and sweet racing bacon. - Dock Diving Dogs. We had to stand this time and that was a bit of a different experience, though it did allow for some great pictures. - Wisconsin Products Pavilion. We saw someone trying the Blueberry Breakfast Brat and they gave it the thumbs up. Plus you can get great maple products here, including barbecue sauce. - Expo Hall. A great combination of interesting things and in-person Temu. Buyer beware, but also Buyer Bewildered sometimes! Some new experiences: - Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Smoothie. Definitely strawberry. Dubai chocolate? Not so much. - Giant pretzel in the Products Pavilion. The giant pretzel was fantastic! - Horse Drill teams. Some very talented young ladies with choreographed routines! The worst part? The parking. Interstate completely and utterly phoned it in. These kids had no idea what they were doing and it showed. I thought trying to park was bad, when I heard how they screwed people over when the flooding happened, I was not surprised.
