Very disappointed with my experience. Stopped in for the first time because of how nice it looked on Yelp. But made the mistake of judging a book by its cover! I went for a pedi and don't have dry skin or any calluses so it's really just about having a nice relaxing massage and some cute color. I picked the lavender pedi for the 20 min. massage. But my nail tech was trying repeatedly to push the $75 option. That's a lot and there's not much to do! She started by cutting down my toe nails in a slanted awful shape then went to town torturing me by digging and clipping and shaving down my soft skin. She kept looking at the timer she set and taking rests in between the hot rock massage. And my heel was burning from where she cut me. I was really just so ready to get out of there! She might have just started, I dunno why she would be allowed to work without proper training It's unfortunate because that place looks nice and clean and even has a fully stocked bar. But no one asked if I wanted even a water! So now I have misshaped toe nails that are sore and covered with bandages. read more

They are open late!!! Went there late on a Wednesday night and got a great nail job. Technician (her name was Snow) was very friendly, talented and efficient. I went to lavender nail bar today, June 11th, 2019 around 3:15 with my friend. We both got next gen manicures and polish pedicures. We come here all the time. The last couple of times I have been to lavender nail bar, I have been cut and injured by the careless ladies in the salon. It's like I can never just r e l a x. They are always inflicting pain and leaving me with OPEN WOUNDS. Giving me 1 minute massages where they pound on your legs (like that's actually soothing). I ask for a simple cuticle cut with my next gen and am left with a deep bleeding cut on my cuticle. She rang me up at $80 and I asked "are you going to discount me for cutting my hand open?" She said "okay $5 off". That is HORRIBLE customer service. I am treated like a number and not a human being. My friends pedicurist was watching TV and asking us questions the entire time. He was so annoying. Not even paying attention to her toes. At one point he asked us if we were voting for Biden or Trump. What the heck?! I used to come into lavender nail bar and get the whole 9 yards...the premium manicure and premium pedicure. Would easily drop $140+ with this nail salon. They half ass everything. What the actual fuck... so I usually do my own nails and toes. I did a set before I went on vacation and when u got to Texas to see my family my cousins wanted to go to the nail shop. So I went with because my toes were painted black and my nails were turning off white from the wear and tear on them so I wanted a color change for both. They told me $35 FOR JUST A COLOR CHANGE, no shaping, no fill. I just did my nails before my trip so literally all I wanted was to change the color and keep the bling. I thought maybe for $35 they were going to Atleast clean my cuticles or give me some damn cuticle oil. I also wanted a fill on my acrylic toes...DO YOU SEE THE LUMPS?? They DIDNT get all of the color off my toes or my nails so I couldn't get the pink on my toes cuz the lady said the black would show through... so why didn't she get all the black off? She knew what color I wanted off top. Whatever I went with white and it's absolutely ugly. I was paying attention to talking to my cousins the whole time so I didn't notice till it was time to pay. I asked for a SMALL discount like $10 off for the color change on my nails I showed the owner all the bits of old color, I didn't want to hold my family up and get them re done we were preparing for Christmas Eve but they insisted my lady redid them. She filed off the sides and didn't add another top coat so you see all the scratches and she still left some old color... I paid $95.. never again, the color is also lumpy because she did 5 coats of gel and re shaped them when I told her not to so all my nails are slightly crooked. I wish I could get my money back. Also they used the same drill bit on my toes as the one they used on my cousins nails. Gross. read more

I have been here multiple times for pedicures with my daughter and also have come here with my husband. It is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Its very easy to get in without an appointment. They offer you a drink and make sure you are comfortable. They always accommodate my preferences. The prices are competitive with other nail salons. Not happy with my service from this salon. I asked if they could do a particular design which was on their yelp page and the girl attending to me said yes. I also wanted something really fun for summer using multiple colors on my toes and they said that was fine. However once it came down to it they really didn't want to do multiple colors and they said it was like a child and they didn't know how to do the design I wanted although they told me they could at the beginning. It was rather disappointing and I didn't like by being told I was wanting something a child would want. I was just wanting something fun and playful for two weeks in the summer. Wanna start off by saying everyone was very nice. HOWEVER, they didn't use either color we chose. My daughters nails are way too wide and my holiday shade of burgundy came out LITERALLY brown. I was promised the toe color was the same and it came out mauve. Maybe for someone who gets their nails done regularly this isn't a big deal but for us it was a holiday treat and it bombed. I live super close to Lavender and have gone there for 1.5 years because of the close distance. They have a large staff, large amount of pedi tubs and manicure desks as well as a wide variety of colors to pick from for any service you're in for which I appreciate. However, even after going there loyally and consistently for over a year I am greeted like they have no clue who I am which, fine, I'm not Beyoncé. But after phase 2 of Collin County reopening I was SO excited to return to Lavender, get my nails done and have a little pamper time. Instead I was hustled through like a heifer being branded; I waited 20 minutes to get water put into the pedi tub, then lady who did my Nexgen did not smooth out the top of the nails, nor did she cut my cuticles back at all. Even if she wouldn't have cut back my cuticles one of the standard steps is sanding down the Nexgen so you have a smooth, even surface. You can see from my attached pics I did not receive that step. After over a year of being a loyal client I am just really disappointed and will be looking for a new nail bar to go to. read more

The people that work here are extremely nice and the massages are great so I really wanted to be able to give a better rating unfortunately I cannot. Two main reasons for this; 1) the prices are WAY too high!!!! 2) This is a nail salon and they don't do a great job on the nails. Two of my fingers were cut at the cuticles and the nail polish looks horrendous. My toes were not damaged but again the polish job is not great. I really enjoyed my services at Lavender Nail Bar and felt that I got my money's worth. I was not pressured into a service or made to feel like what I wanted wasn't good enough. I felt as though I got what I paid for. Tammy was my nail tech and very honest person at that. She made a suggestion of Nexgen over my usual acrylic and gel polish and gave me what I needed in thickness as I use my hands a lot. I also was able to get gel polish on my toes from Henry and wasn't not made to feel as if it were a bad idea and nor was I offered a regular polish for my toes. Everyone was friendly and made you feel welcomed. Not the usual "we cater only to our regulars". I will be going back and will more than likely make this a nail shop I frequent. The hours are convenient and it is super clean. What more could I ask for at 8:30 at night and leaving work after 8 hours. Great place to unwind. read more

I recently visited Lavender Nail Bar (4/27) to get a fill because my normal nail tech was put on maternity leave. When I went in, I asked the man at the front, who seemed to be the owner, for the best nail tech they had because I was very particular about my nails and needed them to be right. He sent Ann. I showed Ann a picture of my nails and then let her look at my nails so that I could show her how I wanted them shaped and filled. My nail tech takes a picture of my nails to post on her social media. I asked Ann if she could do the same and she said she could. I asked if she had any pictures of her work and she reassured me she was the best but never made time for pictures. She soaked off my nails without my permission, so that was the first thing that bothered me, but I didn't sweat it because I figured I would let her start fresh. As she placed the acrylic overlay, I could tell she wasn't comfortable working with the product. I've been wearing nails since high school. Long story short, my nails were different lengths and shapes. I asked her several times if she could just make them match because they were visibly different. She over talked me and tried to tell me it was my nails. The guy from the front came over and I tried to explain the situation but Ann started over talking me trying to blame me for her mistake. When I asked him to listen he told me to shut up and let her speak. I told him I showed her a picture of my nails and asked for exactly this. He said we can't just expect our nails to look like the pictures and then when I told him it was my nails he tried to cut me off because other people were listening. He screamed at me and told me to get out because I just wanted to start trouble, all because I just wanted my nails correct. I asked him to soak it off and he refused so now I have half done nails that look horrible on my hands. I called my original nail tech and told her what happened and she agreed to come off maternity leave to take me to fix them. My original nail tech was kind enough to call the shop because she didn't like how I was treated. I was honestly mortified. He was screaming at me in the lobby saying "your kind always comes to start trouble" and it was disappointing and insulting. My friend went with me and Loann did her nails, who did a great job and was very nice. I wouldn't recommend this shop, though, because the racial comments were unnecessary. I didn't yell, curse or become enraged but I did explain to her she was not doing a good job and I know how my nails look...I get them done every two weeks. The way the owner responded to the situation and the fact that Ann wouldn't admit to being unskilled suggests they don't like helping African American women at all but will only do so for our money so long as we accept whatever they do without any critique. My normal nail tech, @kimberlynails on IG does an excellent job, is the sweetest and she listens. read more

Found this place on yelp and it's A-mazing! The massage is one of the best. Plus they put a head pad on your shoulder while you relax. Both Joyce and Rosa did such a good job both in the detail of my nails but also with the massage (and I'm a snob on massage). Joyce is no joke with her massage so so good!! I has several people including Joyce and Rosa Confirm if I liked everything-- quality for sure. Icing on the cake is how late they stay open. Such a good find! read more
