Leaving this on Yelp because their Google Reviews have been turned off. Reason per Google, "Suspicious high-rated reviews were recently removed from this place" This ONE star is solely because my pedicure was decent. Although the pedicure was okay, I wish it would have been better. While filing my toenails, she barely touched them or shaped them. The callous removal was bare minimum. Now for my nails on my hand... I should have went with my first thought and just got the pedicure and that's it but I thought... why not? I definitely regret that now. I wanted acrylic nails but had heard so much about Gel-X nails and was curious. I asked the tech that was sitting next to us what the difference is between acrylic and Gel-X and she really couldn't tell me. Had she said that Gel-X is just clear press-on nails, I would have gotten acrylic like I wanted in the first place. Then she asks so do you want hand massage, cuticle's trimmed and cuticle oil? I'm thinking to myself, "Doesn't that usually come with the service" and that's what I said... she didn't respond. So the I give the picture to the young lady that I thought was going to do my nails. Told her that I wanted short almond shaped. She soaks my nails and trims my cuticles and then a guy sits down. This experience is NOTHING like any other time I've got my nails done. He's sizing every single nail, files them all individually and puts the glue on them. This is the exact same way you put on press-ons. Once he's done with the first hand, I show him that my thumb, index and middle fingers are all crooked and need to be fixed. He just nods his head and says, "I file". So I'm thinking there's a way that he's going to file them that will align them more with my fingers. NOPE! He finishes the second hand and begins to file the nails so they're even more crooked than before. I tell him again and nothing. I told him I wanted almond shaped. NOPE! Stiletto nails it is... SMH! He starts polishing them and the first coat is uber transparent. So I'm thinking the next coat will fix that. NOPE! Okay, maybe a third coat will fix it. NOPE! Ya'll see my nails. They're even more hideous than the pictures. I absolutely HATE THEM! I know I shouldn't have paid but I didn't want to be the angry black lady throwing a fit because I was ready to blow a gasket! DO NOT go to this place! This is why I stopped going to these salons and go to individuals who actually LISTEN when you ask for what you want! read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. A friend and I booked appointments together after seeing glowing reviews on tik tok but unfortunately our experience was very bad. 0First off the man doing my pedicure was very inexperienced and had to be stopped halfway through because he was doing it wrong. He ended up cutting 3 of my toes which was very unpleasant. The man who was was prepping my nails for the tech drilled 4 of my fingers to the point of being bloody and swollen. The nail tech even made a comment about it when she came over to do the design and apologized for it. He ended up taking over the pedicure for the new guy but the pedicure was very bumpy and uneven. He even told me that his boss didn't like it and she would redo it if she had time. They didn't end up redoing it because they had other guests waiting which is understandable but it's very telling when even the boss is making comments about the quality. Next my actual nails did not look anything like the reference photo (will add below) and the shape was very uneven. My friend was also very unhappy with her set. We had originally wanted acrylics but the woman insisted on GelX stating that it would be very similar in price and would last just as long. We agreed but I wish I hadn't. After just a week my nails started breaking off from the sides. I paid $130 on nails that didn't even last even a week and a half. After 3 nails broke I ended up going back to the salon and asking them to remove them. The lady said that they can't refund me since they lasted over 3 days but that they could redo them for me. I asked her to just remove them because clearly the quality is not there. I still have a layer of product left on my nails as they couldn't even remove nails properly but at least they didn't charge for it. Neither me nor my friend will be back. read more

I get a basic pedicure about once a month and I still hadn't found my "go-to" nail salon after living in the area for 7 years. Last month I struck out at 2 other places with long waits and came here and got right in. They were very attentive and gave me a discount coupon to come back. So I went back today and had the best pedicure I've ever had from the man that was working. He really took his time prepping my nails; I was very impressed! They also do discounts Mon-Thurs until 2:30pm. I think I finally found my go-to salon! read more

I have been going to this nail salon for years. I stopped by this evening to see if I could get a mani-pedi. They said it would be a half hour wait and they could get to me at 6:30. I waited for almost an hour, then just got up and left. If you don't have time to take care of someone, just ask them to come back tomorrow. You missed the main point of my review. I did not get my mani-pedi. I waited until almost closing time. No one had even started my manicure. I was seated in an area by myself. Everyone else was in the back area of the salon. I have been a long time customer at a different salon but they are remodeling at the moment. So I came here 2 weeks ago and instead of soaking off my dip manicure, she tried to BREAK it off of my nail. It was very painful and damaging. I decided to go ahead and stay to finish the manicure. They looked good at first but my dip manicure started chipping after just 1 week. At my other salon they last up to 4 weeks every time. DO NOT GET WAXING DONE HERE!!!! They are great at nails and I've been coming here for years but was talked into getting a brow wax on my last visit and now have blisters because they burned my skin. The wax was clearly too hot and my skin was visibly red and hot to the touch so the technician put Vaseline to soothe it but Vaseline locks in heat (it's like putting butter on a burn...it traps the heat instead of cooling/soothing). They should have put Aloe Vera to soothe the skin but instead left me with puss filled blisters that I have no way of hiding. DO NOT get any waxing done here. The techs clearly have no idea what they're doing. read more

I came to this salon for chrome, because they were supposed to be the "best" at it. 4 of the nails on my left hand didn't even look like chrome and that was after her redoing the hand 3 times. They chipped/chrome came off within a couple of days. The pictures are from a week after getting them done. I called for a refund, and they had put my service in wrong and said I was lying so I didn't have to pay. Horrible customer service and not quality service at all. I've been here twice and experienced the same issue, both times. I always want to give a place a second chance, but I suppose I set myself up for more disappointment by returning. The gel mani and pedi both chipped and peeled within a day. I've never had this happen when doing a gel service at other salons. I did notice they put several coats on, which I would understand if it was a more transparent color but...I got black. Two coats would have been sufficient and likely would not have peeled or cracked within 24 hours. I would have gone back to ask for it to be redone when 3 nails literally all pulled up less than 18 hours later but I don't have the schedule that affords that. Frustrated to have spent 120$+ for a mani/pedi that lasted less than a day, and definitely won't be back. read more

Pricing for a standard pedicure was $28. I'm assuming that's average but wish places charges less for guys - or I'd visit more often. I enjoyed the service which was topped off by a nice massage. The place appeared clean and the girl was friendly. The bathroom was tidy except when I lifted the seat, it looked pretty gross. Other than that, I enjoyed everything and would come back. I went to Nail Addiction twice, inspired by the fact that I saw they had unicorn chrome. My first time I was there the tech Mindy was sweet and very meticulous at sculpting my nail shape and doing a great job in general. Probably the longest full set I ever received but I appreciated the hard work. When she applied the chrome powder to my nails, I was not aware that this was a new concept for her, so when she didn't apply top coat, I asked if we were done. She replied yes and sent me on my way. Do I think $65 for a full set of acrylic with gel and almond shape is a bit much-yes, and I think nail places here in Texas run things very different than what I'm used to in the Seattle area. I could spend that much on a full set w/gel, designs etc. Also she left my cuticles looking so dry and almost undone. Anyway, an hour later my chrome powder was coming off and I had to go back to get it all done again. The guy who seems to be in charge scolded me for not making her put a top coat, like it was my job to tell her how to do her job. The re-did the Gel & chrome and didn't use the same base color, so it wasn't exactly like it was before. It stayed on this though, so I figured I'd give them another try when it was time for a fill. Second time, everything was fine, still over priced- 55 for a fill w/ gel & chrome. Nothing else. Well a week later the gel peeled off and 2 nails were lifting / breaking. Decided not to bother with Nail Addiction in the future. read more
