I follow my nail stylist from Cinderella nails to this place after 8 years of fantastic service. This facility has disappointed on every level. My nails do not make it 2 weeks whereas they typically lasted 3. I brought my daughter for a pedicure and they offered her an abbreviated pedicure (which is fine for her age and needs) but still charged me full price. Today - I brought a picture and my nails where not even close in color or shape. I expressed this with grace but not only did the owner charge me an extra 15.00, they charged Sales Tax which is not applicable. First time I am unhappy in 20 years and sad that I cannot return. read more

Nice little salon in a good area. Stopped in quick with a friend Saturday around 11:30 while running errands and they were able to take us right away for a manicure. Nothing fancy, just your regular manicure for $12. I will say though normally my polish chips same/next day and it's now Monday evening and not a single chip! We also noticed there was a reflexology salon attached which looked pretty relaxing, I would love to go back and try that! read more

Stopped in yesterday for a quick manicure (I have a $50 gc I need to use up). I called before going to see if they had availability and the owner told me yes on the phone. I should've walked out as soon as I walked in. Jenny made it seem like she'd squeeze me in. Which is exactly what she did. Super rushed. Paid an extra $4 to have her draw a snowflake on one finger that's not even centered on my nail. One of the worst manicures I've ever gotten. And not acknowledged when leaving. I have been going to Lavender Nails for at least 10 years. Jenny, the owner is personable and always willing to work with you to get an appt that works with my schedule. The manicurist are all very knowledgeable and take their time to get your nails looking perfect everytime. Lavender has a bonus program, each time you have a service done, the price is added to your card. Once you get to the cost of a manicure or pedicure, you can use it for a free one. Parking is easy and plentiful and it's close to home. read more

Worst pedicure I ever got. Massage was lighter than air. Manicure awful, you can tell they dilute the polish with thinner to extend it. My nails look ombré dark to light. No chair massage while drying. Expensive. Not friendly. Polish leaving marks everywhere it's so thin and cheap. read more

This is a nice little nail salon hidden next to IGA on the corner of Larkfield and Clay Pitts in East Northport. I had been a faithful devotee to my other nail salon in the area up until recently. I went in to my old place to get a mani and pedi to see that the name and owners had changed. No one who used to be there was there. Sad face. It had been some time in between visits, as I have been crazy busy and haven't been able to afford things like getting nails done. What is a girl to do? Where is a girl to go? To Lavender Nails! My friend from work who lives near me likes this place a lot, so two weeks ago we went after a long day of teaching. Mani-pedi in about an hour and fifteen, and out the door dry and ready to go. I came back here today since I was in need of pampering and payday plus Memorial Day weekend is two days away. They do a great job here and are nice and friendly. They also have a reward program for when you come, so make sure you ask for a bonus card. I didn't know about this until today, and the owner was nice enough to count the time I came here with my friend. It is a few dollars more than most salons, where at some salons you can get a mani-pedi for $22, there's is $28. However, with that you get a paraffin dip for your hands and for your heels which is nice. They have a pretty good color selection, however I prefer to bring my own Essie or OPI colors with me. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back. read more

I came to get my nails done for prom and they did not come out at all the way they should have... especially for how much it cost to get done. I got a simple gel manicure and the color was all blotched, and I could still see my nail bed through the polish. they even did the wrong color, and when confronted about it(while in the process of getting them done) they continued to paint them the wrong color. they also got polish all over my nail beds and did an overall messy job. I understand we are in the midst of a pandemic, but they should still be able to do what they are supposed to. read more

This is my third time at this salon. The girls do take a long time and do a good job however I simply cant stand when the staff chats to each other in another language and look at the clients and laugh. And I do agree with other reviewers that the owner is very unfriendly and I find the place is a bit overpriced. The staff should be educated about making the clients feel uncomfortable while chatting away to each other in another language, take a lesson from the seinfeld episode !! read more

I would like to rate this place with 4 or 5 stars but the owner is often unpleasant and does not treat the customers well nor does he treat his staff with respect. The salon itself is up to date and always clean which is the reason I enjoy coming here. The staff gives good manicure and pedicures and paragon is included for your hands and feet. Used to love this place, the girls doing only pedi do an amazing job but i had the worst experience on saturday. I got an sns powder dip and it looks horrible! She used a UV gel topcoat which is NOT what should be used and its all peeling off. I told her no but she refused to use anything else. Almost all my nails are chipped after only 4 days, when SNS usually lasts until my nails grow out. read more

Honestly the WORST nails place on Long Island.... how can you have such a nice establishment, great clients, claim to be the "best" and manage to hack someone's nails up this bad? I have natural nails, two broke and were "extended"previous to this visit, I get a gel manicure so the two extended nails were left uncovered while the other soaked and the nail tech who started my nails was different from the girl who completely ruined mine, she didn't see the length of the other nails and decided that it would be an opportune moment to chop the other ones to the skin?! My other nails are triple the length she shortened mine to, so now I have lopsided nails because the THIRD tech who actually painted my nails didn't "have time" to re extend them. Unacceptable, I was passed around to three different nail ladies- who does that?! And my nails look like a 2 year old did them. read more

What a find! The only nail spas I've been to have been in Manhattan near my work. I've been to some decent places in the city, but even if they feature an early week special they cost more and offer less. I only get a few mani/pedis a year, but I've never been offered a paraffin treatment for both my hands and my heels plus a quick shoulder rub while the heat sets in at no additional cost. I walked in on a whim without an appointment yesterday as a special birthday treat to myself and though I ended up with the nail technician who looked to be the surliest and least interested in being there, she still did a great job and it was one of the best mani/pedis I ever had! (I point this out to demonstrate how kind and focused the majority of the staff are there.) As they greeted almost all of the other customers by name as they entered, the place seemed to be mostly filled with regulars which is always a great sign. To sum it up the spa is clean and nicely decorated, they have tons of colors and options to chose from, the price is right and there is a decent sized parking lot outside so it is a pleasure all-around to visit. I picked up a rewards card and I will definitely be going back. read more

I DO NOT recommend this spa. A friend and I came to this salon to get a standard mani-pedi this past week. We were barely greeted at the front, and spoken to with much disrespect. Besides the unfriendly atmosphere in this establishment, the service was nothing to be applauded for, especially considering the unreasonably high pricing. I paid $41 for a standard mani-pedi, to be treated horribly by the staff, and for the service to not match the lowest of expectations considering the price. At the end, one of my nails was completely smudged. The woman who had done my nails looked at my nail, and walked away. She did not fix it. I had to get someone else to do it. The woman who fixed it for me was clearly unhappy about having to do so. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to pay a reasonable price and be treated nicely. read more

Lavender tips is my go to spot for gel nails! They have my favorite brand - OPI. I usually use OPI chiffon my mind on my nails and they also carry the same color in regular polish so that I can paint my toes with the same gel color! They have been adding more OPI match regular polish with the gels to make it easy & convenient for their clients (for those who are picky like me & like to match their toes with their gel nails). This place is also very neat & clean! Wonderful calm music playing. Recommend! read more

My all time favorite nail salon. For $10 you get paraffin wax for your hands, a little neck rub before your mani & a little neck rub after- plus the mani! How are they making any money?? It's the best deal around. Plus it's always a good experience. Under the new owners, they upgraded their chairs, dryers and experience. The staff is professional & takes good care of you. I've been going over a year here, people are still so rude towards me, it's like they are unhappy to see me for whatever reason the young lady and older men are nasty and don't want to do anything, can't put the tip on the card, don't take Amex they are just a disaster. I came here for a gel manicure. I liked that they don't make you soak your hands in acetone. Rather, they wrap each nail in a cotton soaked swab, then wrap in foil. It seemed to work better that way too. I brought my 2 young daughters with me for a little mani/pedi of their own. I was so impressed with what they did. My 8 year old had a full treatment - foot bath, foot massage even! They didn't complain when she wanted 5 different colored toes either! (We'll at least not to my face. My 10 yr had some sort of hand dip thing then wore mitts as part of her for her manicure. I was actually getting nervous thinking they would charge extra for these things, but they didn't! The woman that did my mails was Kim. She did a wonderful job. They didn't rush us, I would highly recommend this nail salon. It took me over 40 years to get regular manicures, but I am loving the gel manicure. I'm addicted! They truly last 2-3 weeks looking perfect. I can do regular housework, cooking, going to work. Went here based on the reviews. And I must agree with one of the yelpers - I'm not sure what the hype is about either. The lady that did by pedicure was nice, however the lady that did my manicure (Leah?) was very rude and needs an attitude adjustment. I wanted to get a gold to clear gradient design on my nails, however they didn't have gold sparkle dust so we used silver (which was fine). I wanted the lady to do the silver on my tips a little thicker, but she wanted to do it thinner. I wanted to try it thicker to see how it looked like, then agreed that thinner was better. From then on it started to go downhill. The owner/main lady came over when she saw the manicurists in a huff and puff - she had a scowl on her face and was banging the nail polish bottle on the counter whenever she put the bottle down. She and the main lady spoke in their mother tongue and I was feeling extremely uncomfortable. I asked if there was something wrong, the owner lady said no and then said that I should listen to the manicurists because she is good and knows what she's doing. I said that I've gone to other nail salons were we've tried different looks and designs and other places never had a problem so there's no need for me to come back here. With that, the manicurists attitude changed and became overly friendly (for her). I played along just to get along and get out. Decor, cleanliness, professionalism, customer service and technical skill are all very important to me... hey, thats why you get your nails, feet, massage, facial done! I walked in and was greeted right away. This nail spa gets high marks on all categories. The owner was very friendly and communicative even though the place was busy (always a hallmark of a good business). The place looks very clean, spacious and modern as a relaxing retreat to get my mani/pedi done. My technician was pleasant and professional...
