I wanted to be a fan of this nail salon as they are very close to my apartment and the atmosphere is cute but I lost all hope when not even a week after getting a regular french UV Gel fill, I had an infection under the nail of my thumb. Out of the many years I've been getting my nails done and after trying a variety of salons, this is my second time ever getting a fungal infection under my nail. Infections under the nail are often caused by supplies that were not sanitized. I'm disappointed. read more

I've been here once before in the past and they did an ok job. I came back as they were able to offer me an appointment right away and I only had one day to get my nails done and I had a broken nail. it is very dark in the salon and I noticed when I left that I had bubbles in one nail. I didn't call to complain because I was going to deal with it. but then I realized that there are bubbles on almost every nail and the French line is not even. I also have gel lifting already one day later because it was placed over my skin and not removed. I called to get a refund as I don't have time to come back there and was told I would've had to tell them right away and not two days after. Offered to send photos and videos as well but she refused to accept. these nails are supposed to last 3-4 weeks and if they didn't last two days then I should have a refund automatically. very unhappy and unsatisfied. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON! I asked if they had paraffin wax for my pedicure. The nail techs looked confused and told me "oh yes we have what you are looking for." They seemed confused again, so I confirmed 3 times it was in fact what I was looking for. I even showed them multiple pictures of what I was needing, but they told me I would need to do the most expensive pedicure. (They don't clearly tell you what is included in the most expensive pedicure.) I asked that they just stick to the regular pedicure as I did not believe they had paraffin. The pushy nail tech insisted on doing the more expensive pedicure and just started it although I asked multiple times for a regular one. She added this weird cold gel that was not paraffin and my left foot started to burn really bad. I asked her to remove it and saw my foot was swelling up and hurt so bad. I asked her not to massage me or do anything further and just put nail polish on my toes so I can leave. I was in so much pain! She insisted on massaging my other leg and told me to just sit back and relax. She then starts bringing people over to look at my foot and took no responsibility but tried to blame me for being allergic. She didn't even paint my toes completely and when I asked her to fix the mistakes she made, she blames my toe nails for why she did not paint them correctly. DO NOT GO HERE! this was clearly the result of a chemical burn!!!! They charged me full price in the end for the worst pedicure of my life! read more

I'm a client for about 13 years. Lisa, the owner does my hands and I've had a variety of other nail techs give me pedicures through the years. Lisa is an artist, super talented and has become like family to me. She's one of the hardest working people I know. I get compliments on my nails all the time, at least once every time I have my nails done. The salon is clean, stylish and the equipment, such as the massage chairs are all in fantastic shape. The prices are reasonable too. I highly recommend the shop. read more

If you ever come here, suggest ken, Lisa, Amy or Rebecca. They're all amazing but I got stuck with "Lee" today, if that's even her name because she had to think about it before she told me. Probably nervous because she knows how horrible of a job she did, she is a very sweet petite woman but she can't do nails for the life of her. I'm even having trouble typing this because of them. Any time I come in here I never see her with a client or is one happy by the end of it. The owners just use her as their last minute option for walk ins or late appointments. I'm very disappointed that now I have to go home and use my at home nail rotary tool to cut my own nails, fix the shape, and thin out the nail. Even when she was trying to take the original acrylic off, she answered a phone call in the middle of it just giggling and laughing the whole time, how unprofessional! And one of the worst parts was that since she was so distracted by her phone, she kept filing my left index finger with the rotary tool and the middle of my nail started bleeding a little. She went right through my real nail, I even pulled my nail a few times to tell her to stop but she didn't get the hint till I did it a third time and that's when she decided to end the phone call. Originally I was going for a lilac gel color but once I saw the shape, I said eff it I'll do it my self at home and just get a regular polish color, no gel. SO--I'm looking at the colors and ALL of them are old and expired. You can tell by the light pink watery later on top or the blue line in the middle of the bottle. You can also tell that they've even tried to fix it before by putting a nail polish thinner or some kind of oil in the ones that didn't look like that by how watery the nail polish was when you simply just had to pick it up and spin the bottle around. Even before the polish she said I have to pay???? I never once had to pay before getting color on my nail. Her reasoning? I could just walk out without paying. 1) understandable I'm sure that has happened before to them 2) BUT I have never done that or would ever do that at any nail salon that's just not the kind of person I am 3) I did not see anyone else do the same thing. I have been coming here since I was a child! This has never happened before Throughout the whole time she was doing my nails she kept looking around and seemed super distracted the whole time. And towards the end when she was about to put on the polish, she was rushing and it's not like she had to leave, she took another walk in client right after me. Plus when I was sitting there drying my nails for a half hour ***look at all pictures and descriptions*** I was sitting across from this lady also drying her nails and she must have the patience of a Saint because I know she was sitting there for well over an hour just drying. Anyways, she was just about to leave and she asked Linda (another employee who did her nails) if she takes the sandals with her; p.s. they're regular flip flops. Linda responded with "no, you leave them here" -- pump the brakes now sister you mean to tell me she can't take the nasty flip flops she just used on her feet with her? Leave them here? For other customers? I know damn well they don't clean them either as they barely clean their own tools they use every day and dust is absolutely everywhere! As you can see I'm very upset by this whole situation. PSA to ****Ken, Amy, Lisa, and Rebecca!!!**** Highly recommend and hope you all keep an open mind to my suggestion. Close down this useless business and make your own separate business. You don't need people like this to keep bringing down the store and your ratings. You'd do much better with your own businesses as you'd now be your clients own nail technicians and you can even make your own hours and prices. read more

I've come here plenty of times because it was the only place I knew near me that did tips for a good price. My nails were always crooked none of them ever looked straight. My biggest issue here was the appointment situation. I would make appointments and end up waiting for 30-40 minutes before they sat me down. What's the point of making a appointment then ? Can't give them less than a star or I would. If you have a half hour to kill and want to be ignored as opposed to getting the service you came for then this is your place. My favorite part was how they feigned concern as I was walking out after being virtually ignored for 40 mins. Linda does a great job with my nails. I get acrylic over my own nails & gel color polish. They come out very natural & they look fabulous at least 2 weeks, maybe even a bit longer. My pedicures come out great and last for over 2 weeks. Happy here!! Give them a try! I noticed the poor reviews are all old, this nail salon is good! I made an appointment for 11 and ask if they would be done by 12 and they said yes they didn't finish till 12:20 I was late to class there was acrylic all over my fingers and my nail edges where extremely sharp the man who did my nails had headphones in the whole time i was trying to tell him what I wanted he didn't listen I'm extremely upset with my visit read more

I've been coming here over 10 years. When I started getting my nails done here I lived on Long Island, but even when I moved back to NJ 5 years ago, this is still the only salon I frequent. Lisa is amazing- my nails last 4 weeks without a fill and never, ever break. Anyone I have sent here absolutely loves them just as I love them. This is my regular nail salon. I have been seeing Amy for about 15 years. My sister, my aunt, my cousin and all of our kids all frequent New York everlasting. My nails never ever lift or break and the one or two times I broke them (from biting or slamming in the door) they fixed them right away. Once you come here, you'll never go anywhere else. read more

I hate to leave a bad review because I've gotten great manicures from here in the past but I had a terrible experience getting powder gel recently. The staff doesn't wear name tags but the woman on the end (left hand side of the salon towards the back) who has small decorative pigs at her chair is horrible! I received a pedicure after sitting in the chair for 40 minutes waiting (yes I did have an appointment) and then she rushed my powder gel manicure insisting that she can get it done in 20 minutes because I told her I had to leave to go to a meeting. I told her I would come back tomorrow no problem and she started my nails anyway and couldn't finish in time. I had to leave in the middle of it with powder caked on my nails (she didn't have time to file it) and demanded that I come back after my meeting. She had me pay before I left and was telling me I should tip her now too, with my unfinished nails. I went back because I had no other choice and then she spent another 45 minutes on the powder gel. When she told me she was done, I was in shock because my nails looked smudged and awful! I told her it didn't look right and so she filed it all down and started over. All together, my powder gel manicure took 2 hours. This is unacceptable for a nail salon! If she would have acknowledged my time constraint to begin with and allowed me to come the next day, this could have been avoided. I was really disappointed in this experience. read more

This use to be such a nice nail salon . The owners and staff gave you respect and the attention of their work . Today after several renovations they are not as attentive and rude . Even though the nail salon looks nicer the owners and staff lack their personal touch that made going there a good experience .
