This is a family run business and they treat it as such they do not overbook. I never have to wait for extended periods of time and the experience is never rushed. They listen closely to exactly what you want and I get dip powder and it lasts for three weeks with zero issues. It is a no-frills salon, but you get exactly what you ask for. I used to go to this nail salon religiously when I first most to Long Island 8 months ago. I am…read morevery particular with my nails and have been doing them the same way for years. I'll barely switch it up and add a design for special occasions but for the most part I like a plain ombré with translucent glitter. The service at first wasn't the greatest but it was doable because I am particular and didn't want to have to look for a new nail salon. The service started getting worse and the nail techs would argue that what I wanted wouldn't look good. I like a clear base and they kept trying to talk me into a pink base which in my opinion doesn't look good and if I'm paying for a service I'm not going to walk around with a color I don't like. For me the last straw was when I brought my daughter with me to get our nails done for Christmas. I had made a reservation for both of us and they made her wait while they took other walk ins because I refused to have them out gel on my minor. I told them specifically due to her age regular nail polish is all we wanted. As we were finishing up one of the techs proceeded to give every customer in the salon a "Christmas gift" except me and my daughter. Which I thought was so rude.
