This is the worst Vietnamese food I've ever had... I got the Beef Pho and Shiitake Mushroom Stew. Pho tasted nothing like Pho, it was bland and lacked every authentic spice. The stew was overly sweetened, making it unbearable to finish. Other items on this menu, except for Banh Mi and Bun, are NOT Vietnamese. It's some Asian fusion stuff. Don't go... don't let the name deceive you! It doesn't have any food here that resembles anything close to being Vietnamese food. We tried to chicken satay, pho, chicken curry and fried spring rolls. They all tasted awful!!!! Filled with so much regret. The only good thing about this place is that it's across from the chocolate museum and the price is cheap (but I'd rather pay more for quality food). They didn't even have hoisin sauce for the pho. It's the second time I visit this place and I enjoyed it even more than the first time! The food is fresh and the taste is amazing. What I didn't like is the system: u have to fill in a form, place your order there and pay at the entrance before having the food. The inconvenience there for me is: what if there's something wrong with the food? In a normal restaurant if there's anything wrong with the food, you don't pay it (not that it should be wrong ever, but still) or if you wanted to have another drink, u have to stand up, fill in the form (make the queue...). Staff is fine - could be a little nicer tbh, and the service is really fast when it's not completely packed with people: my friend was still ordering his food and they were calling my name to go get the food. + points for that! Finally, what I like also is that they have a day specialty for curry and bun which changes everyday (yeah, that's why it's called daily specialty lol) and so if you have tasted many things in the menu, there's always something different! We came across this place while visiting the born area. It is two minutes walk from the Picasso Museum. But I frankly recommend to stay a way. The place looks amazing, and the services quick and friendly however what about the food taste? Well I don't think they have eaten in any good Vietnamese restaurants before. The name and the decor are misleading. We actually couldn't finish our pho dishes. So why two stars? They have a good location, nice service and with a new chef they will be much better. read more

We went to eat here because we passed it and we're excited for the freshness of Vietnamese food for dinner. On the positive side we had very good service. It's a shame the food was just horrific and not at all even sort of authentic. Had it just been non authentic but good that would have been ok but it was really bad food. Ever had a bahn mi? Then don't get one here. There was no jalapeño, only a tiny strip of wilted cucumber, no peppers or carrot. The bread was day old and not French lovely soft on the inside bread. And the mystery beef was a really horrible tasteless beef. The yum yum rolls were not yummy nor Vietnamese. They were about 6 different kinds of semi pan Asian rolls, one of which was sliced beef (?) and one of which could have been a spring roll if it had any carrot in it. They also came out after our main dishes. The chicken satay was half warm half cold as if they couldn't decide what temperature to serve it, and it had the peanut sauce (also terrible) smothered all over it instead of in the side. It also was over sauced on its marinade with none of the clean brightness I'd expect from a satay. Instead it had way too much shredded lemongrass still on it and far too much curry powder. The beef pho also was bad with a broth with little to no flavor. Also, the Vietnamese noodles were awful. I could go on as we tried one or two other dishes amongst all of them but you get the picture. Don't bother eating here! read more

The payment system probably changed since we had to pay only when we were done. The system is not tricky at all, at first sight it might be complicated but it is easy actually. Food was yummi, fast, seemed to be fresh. I would recommend it for everyone who does not look for a huge restaurant. Worst "Vietnamese" food ever! The dishes do not taste like they should. It simply doesn't taste authentic Vietnamese. But not just that, the beef pho contained 3 TINY TINY beef pieces. Never had that before at other places, even in the same price range. The stock wasn't great either. Sushi should always be fresh but this salmon sushi was not with fresh salmon but with SMOKED salmon. Spring rolls were okay but again do not taste Vietnamese. We left before ordering dessert because it probably wouldn't be good either. Save yourself and just head to one of the other Asian restaurants nearby. Only redeeming factors are the price and drinks. However like another reviewer mentioned: I'd rather pay more for quality. read more
