I especially love this sweet nail joint in Auburn. I believe today was my third time coming back now, and they always take such great care of me and my nails! Their prices are pretty typical for a nail salon but their care and intention are unmatchable to any other salon I've experienced. (Pedicures range from 3 options going to $27, $42, and I believe the last one was around $60. The manicures ranged with 4 options from $18-$45). I especially love Ryan! I went on the first day the state allowed nail salons to open post-COVID. They have excellent customer service--Holly is a doll. They are taking all the safety precautions very seriously, which I really appreciated. I got ombré dip nails and the technician did an good job creating the ombré and shaping the nails. My only complaint is that she didn't do anything to my cuticles. She didn't even push them back, which means my nails will grow out faster and the manicure won't last as long. After I was done I had to ask for cuticle oil because she left them so dry. I would definitely come back, but I would make sure that they push back my cuticles before starting the dip manicure. read more

I've tried this place twice and unfortunately it's just really crappy. First time they had me come in at a later time no big deal, the pedicure was not great, felt rushed and no massage. Second time I come in I came in with a friend for my birthday. Guy said there was a half hour wait, fine, no big deal. Requested me and my friend sit next to each other for our manicures, no accommodation. Lady was super rude, rushed through my manicure. We waited an hour and 10 minutes in the pedicure chairs with cold water. Honestly if they were unable to accommodate us I would've been fine. When they do come, once again in and out and they were mad I changed my mind about what pedicure I wanted. Overall just not a good business owner, very unfriendly and very unfriendly if you're a walk in. Definitely recommend going somewhere else. read more

I've been looking for a good nail salon since I moved up to the Grass Valley area almost 2 years ago. I've been to quite a few but none were that good, until I can here. I love this place! My mail tech took her time making sure my nails were even and shaped perfectly, and I love how they look. Also the prices weren't crazy like some places up here. I'm due with a baby soon but I hope to have time to come back one more time before my baby gets here. This will definitely be my come to place from now on! Truly disappointed with their customer service. I tried to make an appointment to have a nail fixed (acrylic) today, but was told no because I couldn't name the technician who did my last fill. I was not asking them to fix it for free, I just needed it fixed by anyone available. I have no idea why they would turn away a long-time customer over something so trivial as assigning blame to a particular technician. It wasn't anyone's fault, fake nails come off sometimes. I just wanted to go to work tomorrow with 10 nails, not 9. Their unwillingness to accommodate a 5 minute fix (any time today with any technician) is dumbfounding- don't support this business- they clearly don't need your $$ read more

I had made an appointment for a pedicure that I was a few minutes late to. By the time I got there they had helped a walk-in before me and told me I would have to wait at least 15 minutes so be seated. Normally I wouldn't have a problem waiting but I didn't have time that day so I thanked them and left. Only a few hours later I got a call from the salon apologizing for the inconvenience, and offered me a discount on a future appointment, so I made one for the very next day. When I came in they made sure everything was all ready for me and gave a wonderful pedicure and customer service. I have been to this salon about four times now, and every time I am 100 percent happy with their work. At first, I was worried I just got a perfect nail gal the first time I used them, but that was not the case. I have had four different nail ladies do my nails at Lavish, and each one does an outstanding job!! They take their time with the shaping of the nail and the application of the polish. My nails turn out so smooth, and well shaped, and the polish is not streaky. I have had so many bad nail jobs at other salons in the Auburn area and have been so unhappy with their quality of product and service. These gals at Lavish know what they are doing. They are polite, and friendly and work hard to get you the nails you want. I feel very comfortable in their salon, never hurried, and very relaxing!! My husband even went in with me for a pedicure and was please with the service. Thank you for your outstanding work and customer service. If you want a great nail job, go to Lavish nails. Worst customer service and quality! I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure last Thursday. While getting the pedicure the man that works there was very rude. Two days later my gel manicure had cracked and chipped on several nails. They were very reluctant to fix it. They lady who seems to be the owner told me it was my nails and that I should get a dip manicure. If I didn't want to to dip next time I could go somewhere else. She fixed the few nails and again with in a day they were chipping and cracked again. I made an appointment for 10 this morning for the dip manicure she recommended and got there for the appointment and was told that because they didn't text me to confirm that I was able to get seen. They didn't seem to mind at all that I was never coming back. Apparently they have enough business and don't need more. I've been a regular here for a few months. I called to make an appointment for today, on Friday. I showed up for my appointment and started off with my pedicure however not with the person I made an appointment with. No problem, just didnt want to wait. I then waited longer for the nail tech I made an appointment with to start. Now 50 minutes late to her own appointment she rushes taking off my acrylic nails. I'm obviously in pain, she broke my pinky nail in three different parts and it started bleeding. I had to ask her to obviously slow down because I was in pain and she laughed. I had to ask for her to sanatize it and she made shitty comments and laughed. She blamed me, for getting a new set instead of a fill. She BLAMED ME GETTING A NEW SET BEING THE REASON SHE MESSED UP AND ACTED POORLY. I find that weird that anywhere else doesn't break my nails nor do I when remove my nails. To blame their customers for their mistakes after being almost an hour late without communicating. I come in every three weeks, I get the same acrylic french tip and tip well. I now have to wait for my nail to heal before I get a new set on. Please please go somewhere else. This was outrageous. There's a great place in Roseville by Nugget, five stars. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. If I could give 0 stars I would. I made an appointment for a gel manicure on Friday @ 10am. When the gal started my manicure ten minutes into it my nail tech said, "I'll be back in 8 min," and I said ok no problem. After waiting 30 min I was starting to get irritated. She finally came back and said sorry I'll do a design for you, which I said no thank you too, "I just need my manicure done." She rushed big time and was using so little nail polish, the deep red color I'd chosen looked pink, so I asked her to paint a 3rd coat. I left with gel polish all over my cuticles and an uneven polish job. The next day I noticed multiple nails had already chipped or started to come off. It had been less than 24 hours since I had them done, so I called Lavish. When I called the gentleman said no problem we will fix them. Since I couldn't go in on Saturday and they are closed Sundays I made the appointment for Monday @ 11. When I arrived to have them fixed on Monday they sat me down really quick and the lady came over and said, "this sometimes happens with the polish." I've never had that happen before but I said I understood and would like to choose a different color, so this wouldn't happen again. Her response was, "if you choose a different color, we will charge you." I said, "why would you charge me again I just paid for the service on Friday and they chipped within 24 hours, which is why I called to have them fixed?" I guess I didn't understand why the color would matter, because I assumed they would fix them the right way by soaking off what I had on (especially since she had already started to file the polish off) and then applying the gel polish. Holly came over at this point and I was kind of relieved to see her, because I thought she would make it right. I've heard nothing but great things about Holly. Well, she surprised me and was super RUDE! She said they were only fixing the fingers that had chipped (which was 6 nails) and that they would just paint coats over what I had, instead of removing and reapplying. I said that wasn't the right way to fix the problem and I didn't really want the same color, since it had chipped so badly and the girl who I was sitting with said it's the color. Holly continued to be rude and said no, and walked away. I said, "I'll go somewhere else and you've lost my business." I also asked the gentleman at the front desk for a refund for my gel manicure and he said ask holly, so I did and she said, "I don't give refunds." I've honestly never experienced such horrible customer service and I will never go back. Holly was beyond rude, unprofessional and handled a simple fix really poorly. I understand things happen and I just wanted them to make it right, apparently that was asking too much. I would never recommend this place! read more
