soo, just posting this so hopefully nobody else ever has to experience this but, i asked for all black nails. before the guy put the clear coat on he pulled out a red polish, i asked him what he was doing and he didn't respond and started doing a design on my nails without me asking for it. It turned out horrible. i had to go back in and tell him to fix it, this whole experience wasted 3 hours of my life and $75.

My daughter and I got mani/pedis at Luxury Nails. Cute, clean salon with so many options. Loved that staff gave each customer special attention but also worked swiftly. We will definitely be back.

Pretty color, but my dip powder chipped in 2 days.

This place is really clean and has taken a ton of precautions during the COVID Outbreak. Cindy did a great job on my glitter ombré French manicure today. I got a really nice hot stone pedicure that was heavenly and their massage chairs are the best. Definitely consider supporting this local business while treating yourself.

Less than thrilled. Drove 45 minutes from elk grove due to covid shut downs here. This place was very overpriced, they had only a tiny selection of colors and both my manicure and pedicure were lacking and didn't look that great

Toney did such a good job on my nails. I hadn't had my nails done for a year since the COVID shutdown, and The place I used to get my nails done went out of business during COVID. Luxury nails is the third place I've tried since I started getting my nails done again. It's hard to find someone who can shape coffin nails correctly, but Toney took his time and made sure my shape was perfect. What a relief to have my nails look good again! I'll be back :)

Took my two daughters in for another set of acrylic nails. They had the design they wanted on a picture in their phone. The nail girls, Tiffany and Kim mastered the art of their desire! The first time I went to this place they over charged and it was almost a $400 bill for me and my mom to get our nails done. I was on a rush and again I decided to give them a chance and again they overcharged with a fill costing me about $80. read more

Came in for a walk-in for the first time & was really impressed! The service was very friendly & welcoming. Got the Emperor Spa Pedicure for $55 which had a way longer calf/foot massage than expected. The massage chairs are some of the newest and nicest I've seen & they have a ton of adjustments you can make like body height (petite, medium, & tall. Great news for a fellow tall gal) & level of firmness (soft, medium, hard). Really affordable for everything you get. Will definitely be back! read more

I have been here several times before and have been very happy with my manicures. Today, a male technician ruined my nails. He cut the nails on my right hand so short you can see the skin over the tops of my nails. He tried to shape them, but with nothing left to shape he was filing the skin on my fingertips (ouch). I stopped the manicure and spoke with the manager. Another technician tried her best to shape my nails and match the left hand to the disaster on the right. No offer of credit was made even though I am a repeat customer, the manager just agreed that the manicure was awful and offered multiple apologies. If you are offered the male technician to do your nails, decline and wait for another technician or go elsewhere. read more

Came here for a walk in pedicure. No wait as we came early in the morning but the place started filling up during our stay. Great chairs, clean, friendly staff. Best foot/leg message (Tracy was my nail tech) and I usually am not impressed by the haphazard messages one can get with a pedicure but Tracy was exceptional. Had a pedicure while my husband was having surgery. The technician did not understand English and painted 4 layers of gel. I had to go somewhere else and have it removed. Also had a very painful ingrown nail he missed. Terrible service. Never go here. read more

I love getting my nails done here! They are always friendly and do a fabulous job! The shop is clean and they are willing to try any crazy idea I bring to them. Their prices are better than the OTHER town center nail location. Mary is the best, she's fast and does a great job! This is my favorite place to get my nails done! Charged $35 for color change when they gave me a failed wrong color the day before. The bridal white shade appeared with grey tones under the dryer lamp and continued to be very grey when done. When I mentioned this, one of the staff said it was my skin tone that made it look grey. This has never happened to me before. Very disappointed as I was a regular. Never going back there again. read more

I honestly do not like writing bad reviews but after my experience i felt the need to do this. i made an appointment over the phone for Sandy in particular and i was super excited to get my nails done by her because of all of the good reviews I saw and i have been a regular at this salon for pedicures so i have never had a problem. I arrive at 12:40 (my appt is at 12:45) and i got taken care of immediately which is the reason I gave the one star because this was the only good part of my experience honestly. I sit at station and i proceed to tell/show her what i want and she goes "okay" so i assumed everything was fine and she would do what i said because you know that's usually what happens at salons, right? so she proceeds to cut off more of my nail than I asked for as well as make them super uneven too which was frustrating because i have been growing out my nails for months so I can get this design. as she is doing the nails i see that she uses red dip powder for the french tip and the powder was spreading on the other part of my nail and messing up the nude part of the nail but i assumed that she was going to fix them but she never did. on top of ruining that i asked for no french tip on my ring finger because i wanted an accent nail and she proceeds to go "no it'll look bad like that" like excuse me? i am paying for these nails and i think that they look cute so i feel like it is my choice to have my nails the way i want. long story short she messed up my nails very badly and told me what i wanted was ugly and made me feel bad . as well as that she didn't give me what i wanted and just made me feel bad which sucks because i've been saving up for these nails for a while only to be treated like this. hopefully someone will see this and possibly reach out to help but from now on i will find somewhere else to go because of this. i'll include some pictures too for reference read more

After only almost 2 weeks the gel polish is peeling off almost all of my nails on both hands. This is the 2nd time this has happened here. The time before it was within a week of getting my nails done. I have always been able to go 3-4 weeks in between a fill with gel polish. My daughter also got her nails done and the same thing both time times. We also got our toes done with gel polish and it is not lasting either. When I pay $200 that includes a tip for 2 fils and pedicures. I believe they should last longer. Besides they charge for EVERYTHING and we have been coming her for a long time!! We will NOT be coming back!! So beware I am not sure if they are buying cheaper products or what!!! read more

Went here on a recommendation from a friend. I recently had a TERRIBLE acrylic job and wanted some time with just gel polish. This place was a breath of fresh air. It's nice, clean, bright and I loved their work. These are by Kelly. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't tried tips or a pedicure yet. I'll definitely go back and try the pink and white tips next. read more

New to the area and tried this place first. Will never go back. First, it's filthy. Second, they did a terrible job on my nails. I had them done on Sunday. It's Wednesday and the gel is peeling off acrylic. I've never had that happen before. And the cuts from the guy sanding away at my skin are finally healing. So that's good. Lastly..and probably least importantly...outdated. When I go to spend $100+ to get my nails and toes done I want to feel at peace. That's hard to do in a place that was decorated 15 years ago and hasn't been cleaned since either. read more

Amy is my favorite but I think Kelly may be good too. Amy can do any design. They have glitter powder and they use plastic wrappers in their manicure basins. Tons of parking. I would recommend to a friend. Prices are reasonable and this place is clean. read more

Moreover, I arrived fifteen-minutes early due to driving from up the "Hill." Obviously, I took some photos before entering in order, writing my YELP! Review. Anyway, the Male Specialty Pedicurist began performing a complete pedicure treatment: I chose the $65.00 Volcano Pedicure Spa because it's been almost a year since, I last scheduled a professional nail salon appointment, i.e., I've been quite ill in 2024 contracting COVID TWICE! In addition, another Male Specialty Manicurist began removing all the hang nails from my hands which was a welcomed relief. The total cost was $90.00, i.e., $65.00 Volcano Pedicure Spa and the $25.00 specialty hang nail removal plus, I paid an additional $15.00 tip equaling, $105.00 total which the total service rendered was exceptional. Emphatically reiterating, the total paid for exceptional service wasn't surprising due to it has been almost ONE YEAR since, receiving a professional nail salon service! Mind you, I got designs and different colors on each nail. Nancy did them and she spent a good amount of time on my cuticles, shaping my nails, and making sure every design matched. I know the colors don't match perfectly but that's because I changed them. I will definitely be coming back! It's so hard to find a good place and I think I finally did!

Glossy Nails has over delivered on its professionalism , cleanliness and great quality of service to customers. I personally have mostly made appts but the times I didn't I was able to be seen, the wait time is great , they are always happy to give their customers great service with a smile. I love that you are greeted when you walk in , been to several places where you're not acknowledged at all for quite sometime. I love that they have lots of different services to choose from, up to date polish colors and a very large variety of them. What makes me keep coming back is not only the great service but the fact that they take such great pride in keep their store so immaculately clean, after retiring from the medical field , you have no idea how important that is. They have always kept their work areas tidy, back wash area clean with clean risks, rest rooms are very sanitary . It's a whole package deal for me that keeps me coming back . The pedicure beds are always cleaned as well as new liners used each and every time. I've seen staff moving chairs , tables, work areas just to make sure it's very clean for the next client. When you find a business where their goal is to make sure their customers have a great experience and they take pride in everything they do ! I paid with my debit card and then I wanted to pay for my friend and the owner chastise me for paying with a card. She said it cost her more money to use a card. She was not even friendly about it and I've been there several times. It is not my problem that it cost her money that I use a card. She should post something in big letters to accept cash only instead of chastising me in front of other customers. She's very rude and she has lost my business. I always tip each artist well but on this day, the owner was so rude that I will never come back.

However, upon questioning, I found out she was not. Her engagement significantly diminished the experience, so I will not be going back. Customer service is everything.

Moreover, I arrived fifteen-minutes early due to driving from up the "Hill." Obviously, I took some photos before entering in order, writing my YELP! Review. Anyway, the Male Specialty Pedicurist began performing a complete pedicure treatment: I chose the $65.00 Volcano Pedicure Spa because it's been almost a year since, I last scheduled a professional nail salon appointment, i.e., I've been quite ill in 2024 contracting COVID TWICE! In addition, another Male Specialty Manicurist began removing all the hang nails from my hands which was a welcomed relief. The total cost was $90.00, i.e., $65.00 Volcano Pedicure Spa and the $25.00 specialty hang nail removal plus, I paid an additional $15.00 tip equaling, $105.00 total which the total service rendered was exceptional. Emphatically reiterating, the total paid for exceptional service wasn't surprising due to it has been almost ONE YEAR since, receiving a professional nail salon service! Which is telling why she wasn't seen until 5:25. Feeling rushed everyone seemed unorganized. I'm reporting this for my friend because she was mortified and very upset as to what happened next. The guy doing her pedicure said something in Vietnamese about her and all the workers looked right at my friend and laughed and just stared at her. They continued conversing about my friend in Viernamese because they kept looking at her. She was in the middle of her pedicure and just wanted to cry and run out of there. I couldn't believe how unprofessional they were. I guess I'll just forwarn everyone, when you go into the Bass Lake Nail Retreat, make sure management's there or you might get harassed.

I will NEVER go back to this place and I won't recommend it to anyone even to my worst enemy. They do not sterilize their equipments between clients. I witnessed this on my own and I have an infection on my toe to prove it. I have low immune system and can easily get sick so I always make sure to ask how they clean their equipments. I did not want to put my feet in the water until they answer my question but these women are so rude. They ignored me and the woman that will do my pedicure just kept on telling me to put my feet in the water. I refused until they tell me first how they clean their equipments. She continued to ignore me so I asked the other Vietnamese ladies that were working that day and they also refused to answer my question. I was ready to leave and was wondering why can't they answer such simple question when one of the older lady said "we do clean our equipment all the time. We sterilize it." I gave her the benefit of the doubt so I said fine even if I was a little bit unsure since the equipments came from the drawer not on a sealed plastic or sanitizing machine. When I was done with my pedicure the clippers and others equipments was placed in the ladies purse. It was not cleaned at all. The day after my pedicure I woke up with pain on my toes but I ignored it thinking maybe she just cut my cuticles too short but when I removed the nail polish my nails are swollen and the other one looked rotten. read more

I've had two pink and white gel fills here when I happened to be in the area with nails in need. The first one was so bomb I almost shed a tear. Their fill is basically a new set. The older man was a pink and white wizard. The second time I went, they were busier and it was an average Sac fill, but not the prime nail job I had received prior. All in all, it is pretty good as long as you can stomach the prices and the women with their toy dogs. read more

I switched over to this salon after Montano nails seemed to be going down hill. They did a great job, always friendly and accommodating. I made the mistake of going to another nail salon today and that was a big mistake. Should've waited for Luxury nails!!! read more
