With our experience with Lawn Enforcement and it's owner it is easy to see why it has such a low rating. Per attached documentation, I filed a complaint with the State of FL Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Also attached are the Administrative Complaint and Stipulation and Settlement. It should be noted in the Administrative Complaint one of their employees did not have the required certification issued by the Department. I would not recommend this company and advise anyone thinking about hiring them to consider this: Per page 1 of the attached copy of the contract "property is inspected every visit by a trained property crew leader. This insures that pests or diseases do minimal damage to turf or plant material before the next scheduled service. The crew leader immediately reports any signs of concern and a Pest control tech is dispatched out for evaluation." Do not understand how this or Items on page 2 of the contract were done . Our yard continued to deteriorate and we were not told to water the lawn after applications. We were emailed that we would get 2 pallets of sod due to the dead and dying grass that occurred during the time Lawn Enforcment was treating our lawn. That never happened. We are in our 70's and believe we were taken advantage of. All we have ever wanted is to get our lawn back to the way it was prior to the time Lawn Enforcement started treating our lawn. We have not asked for any money back. We made a mistake in hiring Lawn Enforcement and sincerely hope no one else makes the same mistake. Their technicians are friendly and respectful. The issue that I have is with the poor follow-up by their people. I have been with Lawn Enforcement for a long time . Gerald(sp) manager does not follow up at all. Lawn Enforcement planted some sod, which went bad a couple of years back. The lady, I had a appointment with never showed or contacted me that she was not going to show up for the appointment we made. I called their office a week ago due to a possible fungus. No one from their company has contacted me back. read more

Do not use this company! When I contracted with this company they agreed to do the lawn maintenance, trim the shrubs, and take care of the irrigation system. Further, since they put in the landscaping they agreed to replace dead and dying plants. However they told me they refuse to trim after the plants get to be a certain size, my shrubs that haven't died (which they don't replace) are overgrown, I have to call and remind them to do the lawn maintenance after not seeing them for a couple of weeks during the summer, and there's always an excuse. However they will still charge you for a full months service even when they don't do the work. read more

Absolutely fantastic company. Everyone I have dealt with has been extremely polite and helpful. I just moved to Gainesville and I had no idea what to do with my new home. Josh and Krista came out and worked up a whole plan for me. I definitely do not have a green thumb so their helping me design a user friendly landscape with irrigation and lawn service. I have been extremely disappointed in Lawn Enforcement. They allowed my small lawn to be taken over by a fungus. Then changed my irrigation schedule so that the lawn burnt out and died. This went on for 3 months with weekly promises that they would replace the sod, put in new sprinkler heads since they installed the irrigation system improperly. I had the misfortune of having them put in artificial turf a year ago ,on my side yard, for the dog for $5000. It has ripples and you can trip on spots where they did not fill it properly. The incredible horror I found after they completed it a year ago was the installer left 12 exacto knife blades on the turf that my little nieces could have cut themselves or my puppy could have swallowed. Please think twice before hiring. I have met many people in Haile that have fired them due to similar circumstances. read more

I have used this company for my residential lawn for many many years. I have started using them for all my commercial properties as well. The office staff is very helpful and the crews are very fast, friendly, and customer oriented. When hurricane Irma came through Gainesville their main office was without power for several days (I am not far from them so I am on the same line) but their crews were out the next day doing a great job. Early the next morning they had the parking lot cleared out of my commercial properties so that the tenants could open for business looking great. The residential crew was at my house the following day and not only cleaned up all the debris in the yard but they made it look like there wasn't even a hurricane. I have used this company for several other projects like tree trimming and even hardscape. They are very willing to work with me on new landscape ideas and anything else I can think of. I can't recommend them enough. They are a great local business and there is a reason they have been around for a long time. read more

We hired The Lawn Enforcement Agency to design and install an outdoor patio for us. It turned out looking beautiful but has now caused more than $10,000 in damages to our home because the pavers were laid directly against our home and without proper sloping. The patio caused flooding into our home this year. They admitted their fault and agreed to make things right but it's now been over two months and the patio is not completely remodeled. They are now stating that they will not be replacing our wood flooring that their faulty work damaged. read more

Lawn Enforcement Agency takes outstanding care of my lawn and pool. Travis who manages my pool does an outstanding job each and every time he comes to my home. He takes the time to explain how my pool operates and he goes above and beyond in safe guarding my two dogs who just adore him. He is the perfect example for what Lawn Enforcement Agency does. This is a company that loves to over promise and under deliver. After receiving a very nice professional proposal from them for lawn maintenance, they've absolutely failed to deliver. They literally cut corners when mowing the lawn leaving a foot wide patch of lawn unmowed around edges - it's simply laziness and inattention to detail. Their managers always say they'll get on it and fix the problem but they rarely do. The turnover at the company is incredible. Every time I've requested something be addressed, the request has simply gone ignored for weeks or month before someone totally different calls "to see how they're doing." Zero accountability for their mistakes or short-comings. They make you feel like they're doing you a favor when they fix the very problems they've created. Save your money go with any one of dozens of other lawn services. It's amazing that during a recession they would treat well paying customers with absolute indifference. I can't imagine how they would treat customers if business was good. read more

I left a post after some problems with Lawn Enforcement and getting maintenance on our brick paver walkway. As I said before, the work was wonderful and I have had many things done by this company. But, unfortunately, earlier this year we needed repairs and I had a terrible time dealing with the company. Many calls not returned and appointments made where no one showed up. We did get it resolved! Shortly after the review, the owner called and got our problem fixed. The manager I was dealing with had been let go and they made every effort to address our concerns. I look forward to dealing with Lawn Enforcement again in the future. read more

Hired them to pour a concrete patio that was supposed to match up with my existing patio. They poured the new one a half inch lower than the existing. Now I have to add a slope where the joint is. The splattered concrete on the side of the house and promised twice to come back and clean up...never happened. These guys are amatuers not professionals and should stick to mowing lawns. read more
