Not exactly a review of Lawn Rangers work as much as it is a review of their service. I ran into a crew from Lawn Rangers and asked if they aerate and the team member who was very cordial advised me that they do and also indicated they would send someone out to give me a free estimate as he handed me a card with their number. I called the number that was not answered so I went to the website and sent an email. The following day they called back and when I requested they come by and give the estimate I was told at this time they only offer aeration services in a package that included aeration, fertilizer, power raking and a one time mow for $900. I was told that was the starting price and it might be higher depending on square footage. It was pretty clear the girl I was talking to didn't really want to be on the phone and was very short in her responses. I feel really bad for the guy who was out in the field working his butt off. I typically don't take the time to write reviews but I feel this is important otherwise how will these companies improve and provide quality customer services (something that is missing in today's workforce). Long story short we used the Lawn Ranger years ago (over 10 years) to help with landscaping. They did an amazing job and we were sold, this company would be our go to landscaping company. Well we had another project (much smaller than the first) come up and called The Lawn Ranger. Holy cow have things changed, the price for services much smaller in scope were outrageous. i am not sure if this is because they did not take the time to listen to our needs, take measurements (instead of ball parking it), and actually writing down what our requests were. When we received the quote for services the numbers did not make sense when I called they admitted to confusing our requests, something that could have been avoided if they took notes on our requests. I also asked how they came up with the outrageous amount for lawn services and they ball parked the square footage which which was off by a tremendous amount and resulted in a quote that was ridiculous. I am so saddened by this because they used to be such a great company. I understand things have gotten more expensive but the quote was no where even reasonable to being a possibility. Taking the time to do the work ourselves amounted to only a fraction of what they were charging. Not sure how these small companies will stay in business without customers in mind. read more

I have been working with this company for 2+ years now and have always gotten good work in a timely manner, with courteous and professional staff. Not every situation can be perfect, and sometimes there are unavoidable delays, but the work gets done and to my complete satisfaction. read more

First This company was hired by my home warranty company not me, yet their office manager tried to tell me I was the one that called in therefore I was responsible for the bill. When I sent her the email from my home warranty company showing no I did not call you, that this was assigned through my home warranty company and you reached out to me to schedule I was then told well you need to figure out how we get paid then. I do not work for this company therefore the office manager that does work for this company needs to do her job and figure out how to submit billing for payment. Secondly after their technician came out I was told that he knew how to fix this issue and stop the leak. I asked him how long would it take for the puddle in my grass around the sprinkler head to try and was told by tomorrow. 3 days later not only has it not dried but it's actually gotten bigger. After leaving a message to have someone call me back and not hearing back from them I called in and talked to the office manager and explained how their technician in fact didn't fix the issue but made it worse. I was told well we can be out there in 2 weeks. So know they want to make a leak even worse and have me pay for even more water that is just being wasted. After I had explained this to the office manager, she tried to then tell me how in fact their technician never worked on my sprinkler system. He just ran through everything and left. Well if he didn't do anything why do I have a bill for parts and labor? Do not use this company. There are plenty of reputable companies out there. Even ones that when they make a problem worse they don't act like they are doing you a favor by making you wait two weeks to fix their mistakes read more

A great experience working with the people at Lawn Rangers. Sarah and Marcus always answered the phone or called us back, and we were very happy with the work the Lawn Rangers team did in our yard (removing an old dog run, planting, putting in an irrigation system). There are inevitable scheduling hiccups with any kind of services involving multiple people (especially during this pandemic), and Marcus and Sarah handled them with real professionalism. read more

We have been very pleased with their attention to detail, proactive approach to our irrigation system and the general exemplary care they give to our lawn and the plants. They do an outstanding job with pruning our roses and other plants. We could not be happier or more pleased with the team they send to us. Lawn rangers put a new sprinkler system in my front yard in April, 2018. They did great work as the system functions well. The price for three days work was way less than (by one third) than I would have had to pay using another lawn company. read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. Worst job ever and at exorbitant price. Would recommend steering way clear of these people. Quoted us $75/per hour to trouble shoot drip irrigation zones and charged $150/per hour. Job was not even done well. Actually I'd have to say half-assed would be a compliment. read more
