They didn't deliver for my birthday party that I paid $1300 for 10 arrangements. Below are the ones I ordered, and what was delivered was red flowers. See below. When I called on Monday all I wanted was for PK the owner to be honest that this wasn't what was ordered and agreed upon. Went to his shop 2 to 3 times, sent pictures, and then he sends all 10 arrangements with wrong flowers. Then gave me dead flowers for cake, and asked him to bring over fresh flowers for cake and he didn't. He's not an honest person. For 1300 I think he switched to a cheaper flower to put in the arrangements. If you are having a wedding, and/or something special, don't rely on PK and his place. It is clear he doesn't care about his customers because then he tried to tell me he only charged me $750! No it's on my AMEX - 1300 because we agree to $100 per x 10 = 1K! So what really upset me and why I am doing this is because he isn't honest at all, and doesn't care about his customers. Gave them plenty of time - tipped everyone and still this guy lied. So I hope the $1300 was worth it because you did a bait and switch on me. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. Didn't even ask for money back and still, he could not be honest. My stop at Lawrence, the florist, was purely by accident. GPS had taken me to the wrong Total wine store, so after scoring the wine I needed to take to dinner, I had to find the closest florist. That was Lawrence, the florist. Walking in the day after Valentine's Day, looking for flowers is dangerous. No doubt they had been hit with mayhem the day before. The gentleman who helped me was incredibly friendly and asked me what I was looking for if I had a budget number in mind, and I answered all of his questions. He sprung into action, pulling things together from all over the store, picking up the very best of the best he had, and creating a beautiful bouquet that came in under my budget number. Maybe, like me, you're a long time customer of this place. It's always been solid and reliable, and I wrote a review saying so. Well, those days are gone. I have a feeing it's been sold, and the new owner is, shall we say, less than competent. The shop has been relocated inside the Elements apartment building in downtown Bellevue. When you call, you get a guy who is not actually in the shop. He just takes orders on the phone or web site and relays instructions to the one person in the shop. Only he didn't. An order that I placed on the phone at 2:00, and was supposed to be ready at 4:00 was never even created. That's because the phone guy forgot to actually tell the person in the shop to create the order. Imagine my unpleasant surprise when I arrived to pick up my mom's 94th birthday floral display, and it had never even been made. This place is a poor cartoon of its former self. They couldn't even do a proper refund, and ended up just giving me a handful of cash out of the drawer and a hastily written check. I now officially retract my previous glowing review from 4 years ago. Lawrence The Florist is now a forgetful phone guy and a bad example of customer service. read more

My boyfriend picked me up flowers from here and they were not great. $100+ for a bouquet of mostly foliage and a handful of flowers very poorly put together. It's for Valentine's Day... why would you wrap it in dark green with a bow that looks awful with it. I'm mad that he spent this much on the bouquet when he could've gotten a better one from Trader Joe's for a fraction of the price. A hot mess... I'm not usually this critical towards flowers since I love getting them but this is bad. I've gotten the most beautiful arrangements and wreaths from this florist. To get the most bang for your buck, choose your price and opt for a Designers Choice arrangement. If you visit in person you can see what's fresh and give some preferences, but I also like leaving it up to the designer. I asked for a few modifications on my last bouquet and they were super accommodating and swapped out a few stems and it was perfect. The designers here have a great eye and it's always a fun surprise to see what they come up with. read more

In the prior ten years or so, I'd received flowers from Lawrence several times and was very pleased. However, this Christmas 2022 season, I received a spray which was virtually DOA. The base (ceramic or clay) was proportionally tiny compared to the gargantuan spray of evergreen, red roses and carnations, and painted and glittered pinecones and berries. The idea and the components were stunning, but the execution was sloppy, and the carnations were, on arrival, black around the edges. Further and most egregious was the fact that there was only a very small 'SPONGE' base, not wrapped in plastic, into which all the stems were haphazardly stuck. Upon arrival, the sponge base was more or less dry. Evidently, in the rush of the season, Lawrence the proprietor took on more business than his limited staff of florists could handle. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE BUSINESS. SAD THAT THIS PROBABLY COST MY SENDER MUCH MORE THAN ITS EXECUTED PUSILLANIMOUS, CARELESS, AND SLOPPY MESSAGE conveyed. Sad. read more

Rarely do I write reviews; however, my experience with Lawrence the Florist was outstanding. I had occasion to send flowers during the pandemic. It was then that I learned that it was best to locate a local florist in the area of the recipient as opposed to using an "800" (i.e., Teleflora). The net profit for the local florist was minimal using "800" agents. While it was a little more labor intensive, I found that contacting a local florist gave it a more personal touch. That was how I "discovered" Lawrence the Florist. My most recent order was a "no brainer" as a returning customer since the number is now saved in my phone!!! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Marvin and Jaya, and most importantly, I have been highly impressed by their friendly professionalism and their outstanding artistry. LTF is simply the best. I had ordered a bouquet for my girlfriend a few months ago which was absolutely gorgeous and we both loved. My most recent experience with LTF is what truly blew me out of the water though. Even though I was past the normal cutoff time for same day delivery online, I gave them a call to see if I could order another bouquet last minute and was so impressed by the customer service. I received these flowers today. I know that the sender sends several bouquets as a holiday gift. I was shocked to see that the cuts on the greenery were placed right in the front. This picture is just one of several cuts. When you look at the arrangement it is the first thing you notice. Last year I also received flowers via the same florist. They were well on their way to dying within a day (although I added water right away and daily ) when I called they were reluctant to replace them. This used to be the top florist in Bellevue. Clearly the ownership changed at some point because the quality has gone way down hill. I ordered a gardenia to remember the 2 year anniversary of my moms passing. It was her favorite flower. I ordered it on Tuesday for pick up Friday. Wednesday they called wanting to know when I was going to pick it up because other people wanted it. I thought that was pretty rude and reminded them that I would be picking it up on Friday. They called me Thursday and asked again! Now they are harassing me and I'm pissed. I picked it up on Friday. After all of this BS I am at least assuming that they had done their due diligence and had attached a little water tube to it to keep it fresh. As I'm driving home I notice that little brown spots are appearing all over it. I look under the flower and no tube. This is what it looked like when I got home. My husband sent me a bouquet of flowers from Lawrence the Florist to my office for our first wedding anniversary. He selected them because they were the closest to my office building. I don't know how much he paid for these, but whatever it was, it was worth it! The bouquet was gorgeous, tucked into a pink vase. (See my uploaded photo.) Half of the flowers were fully bloomed and the other half were not quite budded yet--I like this because you can keep the flower arrangement around longer and watch the other flowers bloom. The flowers were carefully arranged using floral tape that you can't even see, and the heart wreath atop the entire arrangement. My husband told me that he saw this arrangement on the website, but with tulips. The florist said that was intended as a Valentine's Day arrangement and that tulips are out of season, but that they would improvise with other flowers. They went out of their way for my husband to make a gorgeous arrangement! I would highly recommend them above the standard floral delivery such as FTD. I could tell this was made with care and a personal touch. read more

I wrote these guys a review on Insider pages a while back but given the lack of reviews I thought I'd post here as well. Bottom line is that these guys are great. I needed some flowers delivered next day to a client and had 5 minutes between meetings. A friend recommended them so I called and gave them my budget, credit card and explained the situation and asked them to do the best they could. The next day the client (recovering from surgery) received my flowers and said it was a beautiful display... flash forward almost 2 weeks later and they were still alive and well! I trust the client that the flowers and arrangement were nice quality , but what impressed me the most was the ability to get it done so quickly and be able to trust that the arrangement would be done right. I ordered an expensive arrangement (using their website) to be delivered to a friend for her birthday. I specifically asked for them to call my friend before the delivery to book a time. She never received the flowers. Or the call. I called and they said they called her, she came down and got the flowers, they knew that building well, etc. There is no sign they went. There was no phone call made because the phone record on her side does not show they called. I called them to report it, and they were very defensive, said they delivered it, made no offer to correct the problem and then, did not answer the phone when I called back again. There is no reliable phone messaging system, no way to email (it is a "donotreply") and so, there you have it. I don't live in Bellevue, or I'd have driven there. I cannot cancel the credit card now because it has been processed. My friend and her husband would have remembered if someone had delivered flowers on her birthday. The person I spoke with was so dismissive. I will not use them again. If you order from them get the phone number that you can call and actually have someone pick UP. If they post some rebuttal, the fact remains they did everything I just wrote. I am going to have to file a complaint with teleflora since it looks like they handle the online stuff for them. Maybe you should order by calling the store- if they'll pick up. Your choice. read more
