Run by fabulous women, for fabulous women! I just really appreciate their attitude, creative talent, and customer service that (sorry) I just rarely find in the Seattle area. Was buying flowers for my friend, who had referred me there many months ago for flowers for someone else. When it was time to buy for her, it was a no-brainer of where to go! She loved them, and I'm sure I'll be back. This is the place to go if you want the freshest product, without the sterile bouquets from many of the ripoff online florists. I don't even know where to begin. We only told our lead designer Willow that we wanted a fall color scheme for our wedding and sent her photos of the venue and our outfits. I also told her I wanted fall flower crowns for our flower girls. Other then that, everything else we trusted her expertise and let her work on the design however she envisioned. I cannot say it enough but the flowers were STUNNING. They were all anyone at the wedding could talk about. My mother and sister in law and I were saying thank god I let the expert do her thing because if I tried to control what flowers were used it would never have come out like this. It exceeded my expectations and more for my wedding day. I could not be happier with how they turned out and we will be talking about them for years to come as we look back on our wedding. Had to buy last minute corsage and boutineer for sophisticated couple couple who would normally shy away from such things but who were the guests of honor at a formal event. The items ere sleek and modern and perfect. The store is a sleek oasis in its own right with creative and fresh displays of flowers. They share the space with a clothing boutique. I researched flower shops in Washington and was so impressed with the comments in the "read Cedarhouse dirt" section on their website "should I send bereavement flowers?" that I had to call and see if Cedarhouse could deliver to Oak Harbor. Unfortunately, it was out of their delivery range but Parnel stayed on the phone with me for a good 10 minutes researching florists in the Oak Harbor area. I haven't ordered flowers from here, but I got a nice large mason jar that will work great as a vase. They have really gorgeous products, from flowers and plants to pretty planters and also some clothing / jewelry / gift items. I felt like the store was reasonably priced - some products were a bit more pricey, but they were artisan made - things like handmade ceramic vases, etc. Some of the products though were much more affordable. I felt there was a nice range of things for all sorts of shoppers. I will definitely be back to get some house plants and planters! read more
