Great, talented mechanic. He's an angel, truly! I thought I left a review already so this is long overdue. My car was leaking fluid and I didn't know where to go. My dad used to fix my car and help me if I got stranded, but he died so I had no one. You can imagine how scared I was. I looked up places on Yelp and Laws Auto Service was open and had excellent reviews, and it was close to me. I went there and he made time to help me. You can feel good vibes from him, that he's a good person. He figured out was broken and gave plans to fix it, and he fixed it quickly, within less than a week because he had to get parts for it. I went there on Friday and it was fixed by Wednesday. It was already late in the day on Wednesday and I couldn't make it but I made arrangements the following day to take the bus to get to his shop. I arrived later than anticipated because I got on the wrong transfer bus, so I had to download the Uber app to get Uber to drive me to his shop. I called letting him know and he was kind and patient enough to wait. I am truly grateful for his help. Because he waited, I felt that I had to give him extra as a thank you, since it was outside his usual office hours and his wife and kids were with him. He did business honestly and fairly, and provided excellent customer service. My cars still working well and he did a superior job. Very reliable, efficient, fair, honest and skilled. Franklin is a life saver! I did not know why my check engine light was on but suddenly my car started smoking and I had to pull over. Franklin provided great service. My check engine light came on the day before and the car had a lot of vibrations. I needed it fixed quickly so I found his shop which was about a mile away. A change from my regular mechanic, I was looking for a quality mechanic that I wouldn't have to get a loan for. I knew of what was formally known as "Eds Mobil", now Zachs Auto Repair. Talking with Zach, he reassured me that the quality was the same but offer a better price for the work needed, In fact, so much better that I had him work on both my cars that day. What I'm saying is that they serviced and repaired both cars in the same day and didnt kill my wallet. The only negative is that they had to charge me for using a credit card. I was tempted not to write a review because I don't want a lot of people to know about Ed and Miles. They are simply the best. For example, we took our Nissan Pathfinder into the dealer service center, and they couldn't figure out which particular coil pack needed to be replaced. Well, you can't get a smog check with the "Check Engine Soon" light on so we took it to Ed's. We were fortunate in that Ed had seen this same problem and had figured it out. My Uncle Mac started going to Ed's Mobil before he even purchased his final car a 1983 Caprice Classic. And I continued the tradition, any strange sound or issue with my car, I would call them, Miles would look at it, and would have it fixed in minutes. They are true & honest mechanics. If it needs to be fixed, it does, they do not try to charge you for things that do not need to be done. My radiator was going out, Ed asked me if I was keeping the car, I gave him the look (he knew better). He said if I was not keeping her, he could install a plastic radiator, but if I was, he would install the metal one. In the 25 years that I had been going to them, they have replaced or repaired, a fuel sensor, an alternator, radiator, heater core, batteries, belts, brakes, tires, turn indicator. When the lever on my a/c heater control went out, I found the part online. Ed told me to have them send me the whole unit, and he would take the part he needed out himself, so they would not damage or break it. I wish I still lived in So. Cal. Because I can not find a mechanic out here where I live, that has the same standards that these fine mechanics do. read more
