BAD SERVICE!!! I purchased two brand-new tires from this shop because the employee assured me they were high quality and offered at a great price. Based on that recommendation I agreed to buy them. Just two days later, one of the tires blew out while I was driving on the freeway. Thankfully, I had just dropped off my kids before it happened because I can't imagine how much worse the situation could have been if they had been in the car! I almost lost control and crashed! This was a terrifying experience especially considering these were supposed to be brand-new tires! I expected them to be safe and reliable, not fail after only two days.I will never come back here again and do not recommend buying tires from this business. I called ahead and provided the exact tire size I wanted for my Mercedes Sprinter. I was told the tires were in stock, and we agreed on a price. Based on that information, I drove to the shop and left my van with them. When I returned, I found they had mounted the wrong tire size. Instead of the size we agreed on, they installed smaller tires and then told me they didn't have the correct size available. If they didn't have the tires in stock, they should have been upfront about it before touching my vehicle. Because they could not provide the tires we agreed on, I had them remove everything and reinstall my original wheels and tires. During the process, they also damaged the lug bolt holes on my brand-new Mercedes Sprinter. Rather than taking responsibility, they attempted to thread a different size into the damaged holes. That is not an acceptable repair and should never happen on a new vehicle. I will be taking the van to Mercedes to have the wheel mounting points, hubs, and surrounding components inspected for any damage caused during their work. This experience was a complete waste of time and has left me concerned about the condition of my vehicle. Poor communication, wrong tires installed, and questionable workmanship. Omg this place is dangerous. I had a flat fixed which was fine but they massively inflated the tire did not use a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts. When I confronted the employee about the tire pressure, he told me "it says 50 psi here on the tire. This is the correct pressure" and I thought oh my God this is insane. The tire pressure indicated on the tire wall is the absolute max pressure which is never used on any normal vehicle. The correct pressure is found in the booklet or on the doorjamb. The fact that the place that changes Tires every day doesn't know that is incredible. read more

I get there he determines patch won't work so asked for a plug for temp fix and asked how much for plug. He said 20. I then said how is a patch which takes more work 20 and a plug 20? He said no patch is 30 and plus is 20. I said you said 20 over the phone. Then he started saying 25 for the plug. What a joke. Gave him 20 and left. Won't be back. read more

Missing hardware at both differential drop down brackets after installing my lift kit, brake line extension bracket was not installed and bud light cans littered the workspace from open to closing hours. They did do well with angling axle shafts. Won't be recommending this business for any big jobs. This is a tire and battery swap garage at best. Overall the job took all day and $1200 for 4inch lift kit with wheels and tires I brought for them to install. read more

This place is a JOKE! I had the most terrible service EVER! First got a level kit on my truck. Took it for a second opinion and there were some faults on there installed products. Went back to tell them to please fix it which I decided to give it a 3 inch lift. Spoke to the owner he said that he was gonna make everything even and he was gonna take a hit because he wanted good reputation and good service for his customers and and they did do the lift after the lift was completed. They gave me cheap rims, cheap offbrand tires and kept my Bridgestone all-terrain tires, which were only used for less than 15 miles. I lost at least $2000 in the rims that I bought plus the tires. I would give anybody that ask me if this was a good place to get anything done. I would say hell no you pay what you get for, plus they are all about making a sale and don't care about the customer. I guess rule of thumb that I've learned from my upbringing. Is you pay what you get for! My suggestion is go to an American tires or four-wheel parts for all your great needs for your truck or car. read more

So you know the weekend jut ended, lakers are champions, we get paid this week, you know we're high off of life. Life is good. Until I met the man to burst my bubble. I specially came in with the mentality of "hey man I want some matte black rims and want them to be wide enough to show some thread out of the truck to make it look beefy" badabim badaboom we find some rims this and that, I like the wheels so we're locked and loaded. So now I gotta wait three hours so cool you know I go about my business and kill time. I come back and the wheels are dope, looks good but they don't look the way I told him I wanted them to look. Then he starts talking about "oh yeah you might need to add adapters if you want that look" like bro, we just went over this and now you trying to sell me some other shit. Then we tried to find a different rim to get the look I wanted and he had the nerve, audacity, the stones of steel to say "well yeah this shouldn't have been a problem because you should've said that in the beginning" like yoooooo, you did not flip the script in me. So I say you know what man just put my wheels back in I don't want them anymore. And then tho dudes peels off in my a truck, a car almost hit him driving off the side walk because I want them off. I went to the back to make sure he's not doing any funny business since he wants to drive MY TRUCK like that. Then I overhear him say to his worker "este wey está llorando" which means "this f***er is being a crybaby" I just stayed quiet dude. Hello my name is James let me tell you about the experience I had with Salinas Tires. So far it's cost me 3 days of work and it still counting it's going to cost me about $400 in repairs for mistakes they did on my car but refuse to admit it when I watch them do it while I was standing there. The boss wasn't there during the time it happened but there was another gentleman that was standing in his place he watched it happen until they both told me when the accident occurred that I was going to need an alignment and that the alignment man doesn't show up until Mondays and it was Sunday and it was Saturday excuse me. What they did was they dropped my car from being lifted without Jack thinking they had finished the tire and put the lug nuts on which they didn't so when they lowered it only one another only one lug nut was on the Wheel to hold a tire in place and it was barely turned so when they drop the car my wheel leaves and left about 8 in I heard a clunk first and then I need over and then they just looked at each other I looked at them and nobody said anything he started putting my tire on after doing so he thanked me for buying two used tires at 60 bucks a piece that hardly have any tread for one so when I left my car started pulling to the left very badly it's never fall to the left at all since I've had it over a year and a half but it started pulling right then real bad so when I went back to talk to him about it he said that he tried to avoid me and because he didn't want his boss to know what he had done so anyway to get to the end of the story when I went in Monday there was no front end mechanic I got pictures of what they left me with and didn't even show me how bad it was and also the boss was upset with me which he's never been upset with me maybe the 30 times I've been there he's always been a gentleman walk up to me and asked me what I needed this time of your avoided me and give me dirty looks wouldn't even say a word to me and kept trying to get the guy who did the damage to get me off his fucking lot so after 2 hours I'm sitting in this parking lot I left I came I went to one of the other locations and asked that gentleman there if he would talk to the guy and let him know that it was his fault and if it would please repair my car he said yes I talked to him on the phone he said you were down there when I went down there he was nowhere to be found they said he left for lunch and I was only 5 minutes away pencil they left me with the broken front end I can't go anywhere now I lost 3 days of work and they keep saying it's not their fault when I sat there and watch them do it and the one of the bosses sat there and watch them do it and they saying it's not their fault everybody that knows me know that car is never had a front end problem or steering problem never when I left here that day I could barely even hold my steering wheel wanted to pull the left so bad so that's what I got to say about Selena's tires I don't recommend them to anybody unless I'm hating on them and I don't hate nobody but I'll tell you one thing the way they treated me and the way they looked at me and then for something I hadn't even done not even my fault and they let me know so I'm out of work I'm out of a car thank you very much Selena tires I recommend you to nobody thank you Yelpa 6 read more

Pretty happy with the service here. Had almost everyone help me and I believe I got a good deal for my needs. Got four new tires and an alignment. 235/60/17 Falcon WildPeak A/T tires. Found them on OfferUp and gave them a call. Maybe my wait wasn't as bad as I thought because my tires weren't in shop. However, I was accommodated by staff and felt welcomed. I pulled up the most comfortable chair I could find and sat in the shade. I even asked if I could light up and I did. Watched some videos and chilled it Whittier Homez.
