So some background. A month ago, my wife & I went to the OC Auto Show. We went for mainly one…read morereason. It was to check out the Jeep Wrangler. Keep in mind that my wife has always wanted a Jeep Wrangler but it was never the right time or just wasn't a practical family vehicle. Anyway, we got to go on a ride along where the Jeep driver showed us what the Wrangler was capable of. After the test drive my wife was hooked even more so than she'd ever been. We then saw a Wrangler on the showroom floor with the 75th Anniversary Package with Saddle Brown Leather interior. She was in love with the interior and earlier in the day she saw someone driving a tan (Mojave Sand) Wrangler on the street. That was the color combination that she just had to have with the 75th AE package. After the car show, we decided to throw practicality out the window and get a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The problem was finding it in the color combination & package that she wanted. We searched all over the US and there were only 5 to be had. Of course now we had to deal with finding a dealer that would be willing to work with us since we also had to either trade in or sell our existing vehicle before we could buy the Wrangler. Since my wife's BDay was coming up I decided to do all of this incognito since I already knew I had her blessings and just tell her that we couldn't swing a deal with any of the dealerships. The first dealership I contacted was Jackson Family of Dealerships and boy am I glad I did. I looked at their website and found out that Drew was the General Sales Manager so he was the guy I wanted to speak with. I spoke to Drew and explained my situation and what I was looking for. From the moment I started talking to him I knew he was genuine and was willing to help in any way he could. Drew was able to work his magic and we were able to come to an agreement on the trade in of our current vehicle and purchase price of the Wrangler. Drew handled all the paperwork which he sent to me to sign and was very meticulous and detailed about what needed to be done. The entire two week process went as smooth as I could have ever hoped for. It did take longer than just going to your local dealership but that's to be expected when you're dealing 2000 miles away. After all the paperwork was signed and the bank finished their approval it was time to get an auto transport company to pick up the Wrangler. This was the most gut wrenching and tedious process as it took longer than I thought to find a driver to pick up in Sullivan, IL. When I finally found someone to pick up the Wrangler, Drew was there every step of the way to ensure the Wrangler got on the auto transport and was on its way. A week later the Wrangler was delivered and I was elated that it was here. To be honest, I was actually somewhat skeptical about the whole process as this was a long distance deal and I didn't think it would come to fruition. I had to pinch myself a number of times to make sure I wasn't dreaming. It was a long 4 week process in which I had to keep it a secret from my wife. That was tough to do cause I knew how much she wanted the Wrangler and I could just see the sadness in her eyes. When I finally got to surprise my wife with the Wrangler her elation and happiness was priceless and well worth the efforts that it took to get the Wrangler for her. It's definitely a BDay that she won't forget. I don't think she has stopped smiling since she got it. We are both very grateful for all that Drew and his team has done to make this a reality. Drew went above and beyond and many times I wondered why as I'm sure he could have sold the Wrangler to someone local and not have to deal with all of the hassles. We're sure glad he didn't though. Drew is a great guy and made the entire process as seamless as possible. Thank you so very much to Drew and Jackson Family of Dealerships for helping me surprise my wife and making this all possible. You guys rock.

I had a car emergency while in line for the car wash when my vehicle suddenly started smoking. Without hesitation, the employees and the owner rushed over, moved the cones, and guided me into the oil change center. They quickly diagnosed the problem: my coolant line had completely broken, and all of my antifreeze had leaked out. At that moment, I could have been vulnerable to being overcharged for a repair I knew nothing about. Instead, the owner went above and beyond--personally driving to Napa twice and even trying the Dodge dealership to find the right part. He was upfront about the price (around $200) and even apologized for the cost, though it was completely out of his control. His care reminded me of how my dad or grandpa would have looked after me--genuine, protective, and trustworthy. Because of his quick action, my engine was saved from what could have been devastating damage. He got me back on the road with a very reasonable bill, and I left feeling both relieved and grateful. I even tipped because I felt guilty it wasn't more for the time and effort they put into fixing my beloved Journey (or the "Ourney," since the J fell off!). All the owner asked in return was my continued business--which he now has for life. In a world where service like this is so rare, Marketview Lube is a shining example of kindness, integrity, and heart. I left feeling safe, cared for, and thankful to have been in exactly the right place at the right time.

    Mobishine Detailing

    Mobishine Detailing

Mobishine scammed me into paying $600 for a $300 service, and refuses to make it right…read more I never leave reviews, but I have to share my experience with Mobishine in hopes that you'll learn from my awful experience. Do not trust this business! I booked a $600 Ultimate Detail with Mobishine for November 22 and paid a $50 deposit. My appointment got delayed several times due to mechanical issues and weather. Finally on December 16 Salim arranged for me to drive to VIDA Detailing in Champaign to receive the detailing service from a guy who works for Glow Spot IL. I don't know why Salim couldn't have one of his own employees do it, but in good faith, I brought my car to VIDA. While I was waiting during the 2.5 hour service, Salim texted me, asking me to Venmo him the remaining balance so he could pay his guy, because Salim was traveling overseas and needed to square things up before bedtime in his time zone. I explicitly confirmed at this point that I was paying for the full Ultimate Package with 1-year ceramic coating, which he confirmed. Again in good faith, I paid him the remaining $550. Upon picking up my car, the guy who'd detailed it told me that I'd actually only received a standard interior/exterior detail package with hybrid wax, valued at $300. No iron remover, no clay bar, no polishing, no leather conditioning, no 1-year ceramic coating. He told me that he'd discussed the package with Salim, and as a favor to him, agreed to do it for $200. When I reached out to Salim about the discrepancy, he denied that there had been a mistake and tried to convince me that I had in fact received the premium detail that was promised. After I cited receipts proving that this was a lie, he tried to convince me that a fair solution would be for him to perform the ultimate detail (exterior only) a month from now when he's back in the States. I've already waited a month, through two major freezes, with my car parked outside in the ice and snow. I'm not prepared to wait another month for something that should have been completed weeks ago. (Again, where are his actual employees??) I asked Salim to refund me the $300 overcharge, to reflect the value of the actual service I received. At this point he started sending me long, ornate messages full of excuses, appeals, and outright lies. He claimed that he was "not in a position to offer a partial refund," and that refunding me would cost him "35% in taxes, fees, and other business-related charges." When I researched these claims and found them to be untrue, he offered me a $100 refund as a "goodwill gesture," claiming that the service I'd received was valued at $500. Again, I proved this was a lie, at which point he stopped responding to my messages. I reached out one last time in hopes of avoiding a formal dispute, and he came back with a $150 refund offer, couched in platitudes about finding an "amicable resolution." Still trying to get me to pay $450 for a service valued at $300, for which he paid $200, with receipts to prove it all. At this point I feel so uncomfortable with the scammy, manipulative nature of Salim's response that I would never invite him to my home to detail my car even if he could do it tomorrow, let alone a month from now. I now have to open a chargeback claim with my bank, on top of having to book a new detailer to service my car as I originally wanted. This entire ordeal has been FAR more trouble than it's worth. Mobishine is scammy, shady, and will take advantage of your trust in order to steal your money. Don't do business with them. There are plenty of more worthy, honest car detail spots around town to choose from.

Thank's lot guys for your service, i appreciate your hard work, i'll be definitely your loyal…read morecustomer
