PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT LAXCC!! THEY HAVE TERRIBLE QUALITY AND NO COMPASSION! Worst. Experience. Ever. My regular dispensary (Venice Collective) closed on the 7th so I had to find a new spot. Being lazy I just went to the closest spot to my house(first mistake). Originally everything was fine. Location is discreet, verification was speedy, and though the guard was a big, rude thug-looking type to be fair he wasn't as rude as some others I've met. And the budtender girl was very nice. The real problem was the meds. There were only 4 or 5 strains, none of them looking particularly delicious, I got an eighth (second mistake) of Mars OG that looked half decent. As usual I tried some right away to check quality and it was lame, tasteless, too harsh and stinky. So I went back and the same girl was nice enough to exchange it for some sour diesel, which turned out just as bad if not worse, and it was the best looking bud they had by far. Naturally I was a little pissed considering I don't have a job right now and I paid $50 for that 8th, which is additionally lame since I'm used to getting MUCH better quality bud at VC for 45. So I go back AGAIN, hoping for a refund of my hard earned money or at least to exchange it for a bunch of edibles or something. Yeah, right. There was another budtender there, and he told me there's "no refunds or exchanges once the meds leave the store" and that the girl who made my first exchange is "getting in trouble for it". That is complete bullshit because there was never a time a dispensary wouldn't exchange my meds if they're not up to quality. It makes perfect sense, doesn't it? It's fundamental to compassion. Plus they ALLOW PATIENTS TO TOUCH MEDS in the jars, so it's not like they're afraid I contaminated them. Even though I was super nice all along, he got all rude with me and replied "that's why those stores are closed" and then he told me to leave and never come back. I had to throw away that shwag in the trash can. No asshole, they're closed because they weren't lucky enough to open pre-ico. And now that they're closed, money hungry thugs like you are free to harass patients. How I wish they closed stores according to quality, not establishment dates Overall this was the single worst experience I've ever had over 3+ years of being a patient. It was the first time a dispensary refused to do ANYTHING to fix the situation of selling me garbage. read more

I broke my back and all right side ribs in a motorcycle accident many years ago. Since then, I've had hundreds of cortisone injections, epidural shots, pain meds, physical therapy, acupuncture and massage, and dozens of radio frequency ablations on spinal nerves in my entire spine. Suffice it to say, I have more friends in a surgical suite than outside of it. I spend a lot of time there. With sitting and standing hours in the day dwindling, and frustrated with quality of life eroding, I turned to my local legal medical marijuana doctor, who prescribed a low dose and low key THC to try for the chronic pain. I took my license and prescription to LAX CC and there had the good fortune of meeting Oscar, a rep behind the counter. As soon as he looked at the script he knew exactly what the doctor was ordering for my pain. He clearly explained the differences between each product, their results, and patiently answered all my questions. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and patient. And he didn't try to upsell me. I ended up buying two small buds of different kinds to try as I sincerely wanted pain relief but didn't want to feel loopy, dopey, sleepy or paranoid. I tried both over the course of a week and found that Candy Land worked remarkably well for my back pain. It was light and mild on my head allowing me to remain completely functional as a writer but strong enough to sedate my back pain, giving me back a few more hours a day for work and play, and improved quality of life. Businesses should not only be judged on their customer service and selection, but also on the actions of the owners. Has anyone else seen the video where the owner, Adam, while in a bathrobe, absolutely berates 2 Mexican workers at his apartment building and hurls racial slurs at them? He goes so far as to accuse them, due to being Mexican, of being responsible for the "recent thefts" in his area, and threatens to "kick their as$" if they don't leave. He goes on to say that they are not allowed in "his" building even though they were contracted by the building's owner! After seeing this behavior by the owner of LAX CC, I would have to say that this type of racist behavior has no place anywhere, and in fact, if any of his customers are of color, they should be highly concerned with giving this man or his business your money. People who behave this way and who believe that racism is ok do not deserve to run any business as this shows a huge lack of judgement and responsibility - 2 things that should be a requirement, especially when owning a cannabis shop. This behavior would make me question his and his business' moral compass, and made me ask myself, if he conducts himself this way, how can I trust what he is selling to others? Short answer - I definitely would not. They did it again! This is the LAST time that I will ever step into this infirmary. EVER. This store operates by flooding the inner sanctum with cute and personable young women to deal with customers But the way it REALLY operates is to keep some anti-social asshole locked in the back monitoring the goings on via CCTV. This turd is scared to death of people and leaves all inter-personal relations to the young girls. If there's a problem such as the one I encountered today when I was given the wrong cartridges and asked for an exchange that arises, the girls have to knock on the steel door waiting for the troll to let them inside. There, the girl explains the customer's complaint. There is where the asshole locked behind the door makes his decision. And he NEVER, EVER decides in the customers' favor. As I said, this little pissant is too scared of people to interact with them, and leaves it to the girls to break the bad news to the complainant. LAX CC is my go-to spot. They have the largest selection I've seen... like 50 top shelf strains at a time. They test all of their products, which is legit and just reaffirms my belief that they have the best quality and selection of product. LAX CC is professional and is run like a legit business. Most other places I have been have seriously lacked Professionalism. All employees have been kind, knowledgable, and professional. Also, LAX CC is located right by LAX (as one could have inferred given the name) and is super easy to get to from pretty much anywhere on the Westside/Southbay. Overall, LAX CC is the #1 spot to go to if you want tested-quality, large selection, professional service, and prime location. This is quite possibly the best dispensary I've been to when it comes to set up, display, and inventory. So many different strains, edibles, and smoking accessories to choose from, all neatly organized and on display. The customer service was mixed. The girl up front was pretty friendly and welcoming. The girl in the back (looked like a broke Ariana Grande) was sorta "meh" and not particularly helpful. Prices tend to lean on the pricier side. The quality is pretty good though. Still, there are much cheaper places on the Westside that are just as good with regards to quality. Major thumbs down for zero freebies for first time patients. As a long time patient, I've been in a lot different places in LA, and this is hands-down the best place in the LAX/Westchester area, and up there in running for best in the city. I'm in two/three times a week; everyone is always super-friendly and helpful (and I can be a pain in the ass about strain genetics) and the greens are extremely fresh and top-notch. It's at least 10x better than the store next door; these people are both extremely professional and friendly - makes for a high-quality experience. Highly, highly recommended. (pun...intended?) This is by far the best shop to go to if you live in the Marina del Rey area. Green Dot Dispensary is just down the street from me but I don't go there because they are trying to make a lot of money on low quality weed. But at LAX Dispensary, the prices are very reasonable. You can now get an 1/8 of good quality buds for only $25!!! The staff is very friendly and they have plenty of people working so that you never have to wait. One of the Security Guards who works there is very pleasant as well. The dispensary also has everything you need and has a great selection of everything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

By far the best dispensary in LA that I've been to. Plenty of free parking right in front, the front desk people were very nice and fast. The best part of this dispensary is their weed though, and their selection. The best weed that I've had in LA. Almost everything looks incredible. The emphysema strain that they have (that I haven't seen anywhere else) is SERIOUS. 30% THC. Their LAX GDP is amazing as well, seriously helps with insomnia. E.g. Instead of having discounts on joints, say, every Tuesday, and posting that online and in the store, they run promotions that vary each week -- but they won't tell you about what those promotions are unless you opt-in to their marketing spam. So if you don't want to sign up for their marketing spam (which I never agree to as a trade-off for anything), then when you shop there you won't know what the pricing will be on the products you like -- until you actually show up to buy them. And so you may show up on a day when the product you like isn't on sale. For those of us who routinely spend $300+ per visit, the difference in pricing on a visit with promotions and a visit without promotions can be $80-100. Other pot shops don't subject you to this kind of unpredictability in pricing. RECOMMENDATIONS: On my last visit, I asked for recommendations on edibles, as I'm always eager to try new product. Both products that were recommended were super disappointing in ways that I'd think a sales person would find disappointing if they'd actually tried the product. One product wasn't portioned out by the manufacturer -- so when you open the package you have to cut the edible into 10 pieces. (Surely no one wants to need to have a knife around in order to portion out their edibles.) The other product was so complicated and not intuitive to open that you need an engineering degree to figure it out. In my view, pot shops shouldn't sell products that aren't portioned out or are in packaging that's overly-complicated to open (or at least shouldn't recommend them). ______________ So shopping here can be frustrating.

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD!…read more MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE - Management Needs to Address This This review is directed to Jay Handal and the management team at Erba because the issues we have experienced have been ongoing and extremely concerning. My boyfriend and I have been loyal customers of Erba since we moved to the neighborhood last year. We shop here almost daily and have spent thousands of dollars at this store. Unfortunately, despite our consistent patronage, my boyfriend has repeatedly been subjected to what appears to be discriminatory and unfair treatment by staff. Today was the final straw. I am currently pregnant and waited in the car while my boyfriend went inside to make a purchase. About five minutes later, he had to come back out to get me because the employee refused to allow him to pay -- even though it was his card, simply connected to my Apple Pay on my phone. The employee had already seen our phone screensaver and questioned him about the device and card. I then had to walk inside the store unnecessarily, only for him to complete the purchase using the same card and same device. This is not the first time this has happened. Almost every time my boyfriend attempts to make a purchase, staff interrogate him about the card, even though we use the exact same card every single day. They repeatedly force me to come inside just to complete the payment. Meanwhile, we have watched other customers -- particularly white customers -- shop without being questioned or inconvenienced. Additionally, my boyfriend has been asked to show his ID multiple times after already being checked at the door, which is redundant and unnecessary. On several occasions, security has also singled him out and asked him to remove his hoodie, while we have personally witnessed other customers walking around the store with hoodies on without being bothered. This pattern of behavior feels discriminatory and extremely disrespectful. It creates the impression that he is being treated differently because of his appearance and skin color. Another issue worth mentioning is how payments are processed. When paying, customers are often charged more than the actual purchase total, and the difference is returned as "change." This resembles the process used by cashless ATM systems, which classify the transaction as a cash withdrawal rather than a normal retail purchase. Customers should be clearly informed about this. When we tried to address these concerns today and asked the manager for the names of the employees involved, she refused to provide them and instead threatened to ban us from the store simply for raising legitimate concerns about the treatment we have experienced. The only reason why we kept coming back to be honest is because the store is literally 2 minutes away from us. After putting up with this behavior for far too long, today was the day we finally had enough. We are extremely disappointed by the way loyal customers have been treated. Management needs to seriously evaluate staff conduct, customer service standards, and how situations like this are handled. No customer should feel singled out, interrogated, or threatened for simply trying to make a purchase.
