The good: on time, convenient locations, friendly and accommodating driver, smooth driving. The bad: shuttles can fill up (14 passengers) which is uncomfortable as it is a very tight space, at least in the back rows. There's no way my 6'5 husband would be able to ride comfortably. AC was blasting (which I would prefer over hot, but it was still uncomfortable to me and a subjective opinion). Another particular to my ride was the expectations of the drive, none was established... I was looking forward to a quiet and comfortable ride and unfortunately the group next to me was incredibly loud gabbing the whole time so it was not the best 6 am morning for me. Also, subjective opinion to my preferences. Overall, would not ride again. There are better options out there. I opted for the flyaway + Amtrak on the return for a much more comfortable experience and ocean views! While I appreciated the driver being friendly, I don't think this is the best option for me. read more

Very convenient and comfortable service. Ticket is 59$ which includes one bag one carry on. You can take extra bags for 15$ each. Multiple pick up points. We took one from Sorrento Valley as it was the closest to our house. The driver Steven was very friendly and helpful. The ride was smooth. It would have been nice if they keep water bottles for passengers . I got thirsty and forgot to keep one from home so had to wait till we reached. Will definitely use it more often. read more

Have used this a couple times. Driver is ontime, friendly, not-so-chatty and a safe driver - in short, perfect! Direct to terminal is super convenient. Really, the only downside is not being able to stand up and walk around or use the bathroom, but taking the train means a lengthy transfer and nearly double the time. read more

It was my first time using this service so unsure what to expect. Instructions were clear. Once Stephen arrived he was really nice making sure everyone was comfortable. Steven even waited for a passenger who was late and extra 10 mins. What driver does that?! The bus was modern, comfortable and clean. Once the trip was complete Stephen waited for me until my uber arrived (it was 10pm at night and I didn't feel comfortable alone), but what driver does that?? This was first time using LAX Linq. I wanted to use this shareride mainly for the convenience of time schedule from LAX to Oceanside. Everything went well until I got dropped off at a shady unsafe location in front of Domino's Pizza in Oceanside. Trusting this was 121N Cleveland address I waited for my ride to come get me. The area was close to the rail tracks and at 9:00pm there were a lot of homelessness, street drug dealers, and young gang members roaming trying to make conversation with me as I waited. I saw a homeless man walking by behind me then he stopped behind a pillar just a few feet from where I was standing so I moved closer to the street light and set my phone to 911 if there were any trouble. When my husband arrived at the address I gave him he called to ask where I was in a panic. Not sure I said I was dropped off at the corner at Dominos Pizza. I didn't know my way around because it was dark and I kept getting approached by the homeless. I couldn't read the street signs cause it was so dark. Soon my husband found me after driving around the corner, which by the way, was a huge difference from a bad location to where the van should have dropped me off located on the Main Street. I hesitated to write this review because there are not many share ride companies that are reliable. It was safety that concerned me as I am a public transportation servant for the airlines. Many travelers and visitors who use share ride travel alone and may not know the area that your company chose to drop them off at. I hope to use LAX Linq again in the future as there is always room for improvement. Thank you for allowing me to write a review. Please make safety first. NOTE: Response from Susanne the owner basically called me a liar. I forward the information to a group of airline employees who fly out of LAX. Sadly the service was great but the location I was dropped off was not safe for anyone. Changed the rating to poor after owner did not like suggested improvement. Linq has gone downhill over the past year. The drivers have been rude, driving aggressively, and the overall experience has been poor. On my most recent trip, they didn't even pick me up, the shuttle drove right past me at the pickup location with zero communication. I had been waiting early and still got missed. When I tried to get support, the customer service experience was frustrating and dismissive. I ended up booking with Relax Shuttle instead and had a completely different experience. The driver was kind, professional, and actually made sure I was picked up properly. Save yourself the stress and book Relax instead. I was waiting in the Orange Pickup Zone at Terminal 3 ( not terminal 4) exactly where I've been picked up many times before as a regular customer. And honestly, you can tell everything from their response here. This is how they treat their customers, argumentative, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take accountability or offer a refund. The customer service is terrible, and instead of helping, they make the experience even more frustrating. If you want a smooth, stress free ride, book Relax Shuttle instead. We arrived today with a 4.30 reservation on the Linq Shuttle, but when we noticed the 2.30 shuttle outside, I asked the driver if there was any chance we could ride earlier and avoid a 2-hour wait. She was absolutely magnificent. Without hesitation, she arranged the luggage in the vehicle to make room for my husband's electric wheelchair, along with our bags and six other passengers. She handled everything with efficiency, patience, and genuine kindness. Travel can be exhausting, especially traveling with disabilities. Maritzza made such an enormous difference to us. Awesome service, great people and smooth ride. We took Lax Linq from Oceanside to LAX for a surf trip in Nicaragua. The driver was super nice, made sure my board was secured well and even had a fun chat with him in the way to the airport (I sat shotgun). The trip home went great as well - this driver was also super cool. AC was cold, WiFi was strong, seats were comfortable - easiest travel to and from LAX I've ever experienced. First time taking this shuttle, how convenient! Buy your ticket ahead of time online and there are 3 trips a day from San Diego to LAX. There are 2 pick-up points in SD (Old Town and Oceanside) and it's a direct trip to LAX. I selected the Old Town pick-up point and the shuttle came promptly at 7am (schedule to be changed starting March 1, 2024). The driver helped us load our bags and we got in and off we went to pick up a couple more passengers at Oceanside. At Oceanside, we could stop for a bathroom break and this is the only time you get a bathroom break until you reach LAX, so plan accordingly. I love the music played in the shuttle. It's such a relaxing, easy way to get to LAX. If your schedule works out, definitely give this service a try. read more

ABOVE AND BEYOND! Forgive me for shouting, but really! Called with an emergency. Already in LA but forgot passport in San Diego! Thought maybe I could buy a ticket for my passport but they were full. No worries. Owner Adam answered the call and I have my passport. FREE! I only hope I tipped the driver enough. Adam checked in with me in the morning and then let me know about how long the driver would be with a live update. Above and beyond! I'm a flight crew member and this was my first time using LINQ. I am wowed. I traveled from LAX to Oceanside. The van was on time, our driver was super nice and safe, and we had great passengers (most came off international flights and slept) . The van was comfortable and quiet. Convenient drop off locations ( I used Oceanside) . Directions to locate the van were clear and concise, no possibility of missing the pickup spot. (As a side note, LINQ is not currently listed on the signage poles, but it's obvious where you need to be picked up. The only mistake I made, was I had two pieces of luggage and didn't realize I could have a suitcase and a carry on for free -so I paid for two more pieces. My bad on that. I am impressed with LINQ and highly recommend! read more

An option, but not the best. Very tight spaced shuttle van. They cram 12-14 passengers in the van and you have to scoot sideways to get to the back rows, that's how tight the space is. With the exception of the passenger seat and first row, you're just sandwiched in super tight space with little to no leg room if seated in other rows. I'm 5'1" and i barely fit in the back rows. Very jolty and uncomfortable ride, constantly hard braking as there is constant traffic as you know from SD to LA and vice versa. Had a headache at the end of both rides. The driver on the return trip home was old and took 20min to check people in, kept asking the same question over and over. Would recommend Amtrak for a smooth continuous ride and take the FlyAway bus from Union station to airport over this madness. read more

I have used this service twice from Old Town, San Diego to LAX. Each diver was pleasant, on time, so it's a good way to get to LAX for a solo traveler. The only downside is the limited pick up times, making a long wait at the airport depending on your departure time. Hopefully they will add at least another time slot. read more

This was a great cost efficient option to get from LAX to SD, the van was spacious and clean. It was also clearly marked so there was no confusion. They were also very prompt in arrival and departure. Pick up area was clearly noted on their website and easy to find. I hope they add more shuttle times as their business grows, I think LAX pick up was either 11am or 430pm so we had a long down time before getting picked up (our plane landed at 1050AM so we weren't able to do the 11AM). I would highly recommend this service if you need to go from either SD or LAX. We also tipped our driver so I would also recommend bringing cash if you want to do that, I don't think it's required but something to keep in mind. Highly recommend - the communication thru email was very accurate and detailed and the pick up location was super easy to find outside Terminal 3 at LAX. The van was on time and well logo'd - easy to spot. Bonus - we had a really good driver (Vitali) who smoothly navigated the traffic to San Diego at 530pm without that any of that short braking that has your head jerking forward! This is a small business owned by a couple and I hope they continue to grow their business because it's a great way to get to and from LAX. The Amtrak was not running this weekend so I tried a new service from Oceanside to LAX. The van originates in San Diego and makes a quick stop in front of the Red Cup in downtown Oceanside before getting on the freeway straight to LAX. The driver Bill was personable and professional. Great driver and even though he opted out of the shortcut toll road, we still made it in the diamond lanes and the Fasttrack lanes to LAX in just about 100 minutes. It was easier and way shorter than using Amtrak then taking the airporter bus, and added up to about the same fare. Highly recommend. read more

Pickup location is not marked and the description on the website is good not great but once the shuttle arrived I exhaled and had a great experience.
