When I first started coming here on referral from my regular vet, the owners were not allowed to go inside due to the pandemic. Upon arrival, I had to park in a numbered parking spot out front, call the number on the sign, and someone would come out and take my dog inside to see the vet. The vet would then call me to discuss the appointment findings and the recommended course of action. Once the visit was complete, the tech would bring my dog back out to me. More recently when I've visited, I was able to go inside with my dog and wait in an exam room. However, when the vet examined my dog, the tech would take my dog to another location where I was not present to see what was happening. I prefer to be with my dog during the visit. My latest visit was because my dog had a serious issue, and we ended up having to make the hard decision to put her down. Mountain West performed the procedure in a special bereavement room with a couch. It was nice that they separated me from the busy exam rooms and waiting room of the facility for this painful process. During all of my visits, the staff were friendly and accommodating. A few things I wished were different are that I have always asked but never received a printed copy of the visit summary for my dogs. They are very automated and seem to prefer to not print anything. And it is hit and miss with getting the summary via email also. Also because they are an emergency facility, they post on the walls and doors that there may be a long wait due to possible emergencies coming in. I usually have waited no less and 1 hour and as much as 5 hours during my appointment. There does not seem to be a option for a quicker turn around.

From the moment he walked in, he was calm, attentive, and genuinely present. He didn't rush, he listened carefully, and he explained everything in a way that actually made sense--something that's rare in such a high-stress environment. What stood out most was how much he truly cared. I felt seen, heard, and respected, not just treated like another case. He not only listened, but also provided helpful tools and advice with no judgment, which made a meaningful difference. His compassion and professionalism made a difficult situation so much easier to handle. I also want to recognize the incredible nurses and staff. They were kind, patient, and attentive throughout my visit, making sure I was comfortable and supported every step of the way. Their teamwork and compassion truly stood out and made a lasting impression. Dr. Joshua White is, without a doubt, the best doctor I've ever spoken with. If every ER doctor and team approached patients this way, the entire healthcare experience would be transformed

They're quick to remind you of your outstanding balance but will leave you on hold for 45 minutes hoping you'll hang up, only for them to. Care quality isn't even decent, I gave birth in October in the Lehi location, and the nurse I had was awful. Cause severe birth trauma for me as a first time mom, wish I could remember her name. I've had family try to help me navigate their financial aide and they mention Intermountain isn't even this hard. If you can, go elsewhere.

Since this was my last baby, I was really hoping for something better than my previous births with my other two daughters. Let me just say--it was the most amazing experience I've ever had. I was treated with such care, like a close family member was looking after me. The staff constantly checked in to make sure I was okay, explained everything clearly, and truly made me feel supported. My baby stayed in the room with me almost the entire time--only leaving briefly for a few necessary tests--and the nurses were kind, patient, and incredibly understanding. Honestly, it didn't feel like a regular hospital at all--it felt peaceful, warm, and focused on me and my baby. If you're on the fence about coming here, I say go for it. I 100% recommend this hospital--it was a beautiful way to welcome my last little one into the world.

There is a nicely equipped therapy room/gym to meet most everyone's needs. The CNA's and nurses were exceptional, timely, and very responsive. I was very pleased with overall care I received and would recommend Thatcher Brook Rehab and Care Center to anyone needing the services they provide.

If I could give Thatcherbrook a 0-star rating, I would. Our experience with this facility was…read moreextremely disappointing, particularly because of the lack of communication, the condition of the facility, and serious concerns about my mother's care. One of our biggest frustrations was the administration. Lance repeatedly failed to return emails or communicate with all members of our family who were involved in my mother's care. When we did have interactions, I found his attitude arrogant and dismissive. When you are trusting a facility with someone you love, families deserve to be treated with respect, kept informed, and included in decisions regarding their loved one. After moving my mother from Thatcherbrook to a memory care facility, we were told that she appeared to have been overmedicated. Her catheter was removed the day she arrived at the new facility, and we have seen a significant difference in her alertness--she no longer sleeps all day. This raised serious concerns for our family about the care she received while at Thatcherbrook. Beyond our concerns about her care, I found the facility to be outdated, in need of maintenance, and not as clean or welcoming as I would expect from a rehabilitation center. Thatcherbrook was, unfortunately, one of the worst experiences I have had with a care facility. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it. Families placing a loved one in rehabilitation deserve transparency, communication, compassion, and confidence that their family member is receiving appropriate care. I did not feel that we received those things at Thatcherbrook. In fact I regret putting my mom there to begin with.
