We had a great experience at Lazlo's in Omaha. The food was solid, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere had that comfortable local brewpub feel that makes it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal. The beer is clearly the star here, and the menu has plenty of good options to go with it. Everything came out fresh, and our server was attentive throughout the visit. My only note would be that if you are going to a place known for beer, it may be best to stick with what they do best rather than ordering a martini. That one was probably on me! The interior of this place is pretty good with huge sliding barn doors and interesting lighting. Service was great as our servers were very kind and attentive! I ordered the fresh salmon with wild rice and mashed potatoes. I wasn't a huge fan of the rice as it was a bit crunchy, but the salmon and mashed potatoes were perfect. I especially loved the gravy that came on the potatoes. My favorite part was the strawberry cheesecake. It had the perfect ratio of filling and crust. I haven't been to Lazlo's for a while and figured I would do a quick update. Almost everything is exactly the same as I remember it. All the classic dishes like the lavosh, the prime rib enchiladas, the voodoo, chicken, etc. are still on the menu. On the whole, our table enjoyed the meals we got. That said there were a couple little notes I have. I've said it before, but the way they plate salads is impractical here. They serve side salads on small glass plates. Of course I appreciate the effort to make it a nice sized salad and fill up the plate, but with no overhang and no depth because it's not a bowl, it makes it really difficult to stir around without making a big mess. They don't serve the salads tossed, so this continues to be an issue for me as a diner. The other thing I noticed is that the building itself definitely needs a little TLC. Everything just looks a bit worn... in particular the walls, the baseboards, places where there's wear and tear, and it just doesn't look as crisp or as modern or updated as it could. read more

I've been coming to this location for a few years now, and it actually holds a special place in my heart. We celebrated our engagement here back in 2021. My usual go-to is the Baby Back Ribs; they're fall-off-the-bone tender and truly the best in my opinion. This time, I switched it up and tried the Steak Kabobs. They were SO good and might just become another staple order for me. The veggies were delicious and the wild rice was the perfect pairing. Lazlo's has my favorite "girl dinner" of a crisp, avocado and salmon salad and seasoned crinkle fries. I probably think about these fries way too much for my own good, but they are fantastic and the cherry on top is definitely their creamy garlic. I use this as a sauce for the fries, and prefer this as my salad dressing as well. read more

A dark wood , dimly lit brewery with standard pub food. Service was friendly, lots of young adult, older teens manning the front. We were seated and had drinks in short order. The Rueben sandwich was deli-sliced beef, not bad but no wow factor. Fries weee crisp. A barbecue bacon burger was pretty good and hit the spot for a Saturday late lunch. This is not a sports bar, although they do have a separate bar area with monitors for games. They also have more private areas for large groups. They seem very accommodating. Lazlos has definitely become our go-to to-go restaurant, but we decided to eat in last night. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and my husband had his usual: the half rack of ribs with green beans and fries. Both of our meals were fantastic, and I have to say the beans that came with my husbands meal were the best I've ever had. I mean, how often can you get excited about the taste of green beans? We decided to splurge and finish with the apple crisp. This was a huge portion and the combo of ingredients was phenomenal. read more

We met with a larger group of family to celebrate a birthday and were seated in the back room. Upon entering the room, I felt quite claustrophobic in the extremely crowded room. I couldn't believe that they had so many people and tables loaded in there. Our server was nice enough, but not very attentive. We didn't see him during the entire time we were eating. Only for orders and for payment. I did enjoy my meal, which was chicken marsala. The sauce was really good and the mashed potatoes were excellent, but the chicken itself was a little flavorless. I also ordered a side salad with honey mustard dressing. I had a couple of bites of my daughter's burger, which was unfortunately a little dry, but she seemed to enjoy her fries quite a bit. My husband and I have been to Lazlo's in Lincoln a few times, so when they opened here in West Omaha, we were elated! We've now been to the Omaha Lazlo's a few times and it's a close second to Lincoln. The service is always above par and very professional. The vibe is casual but a little bit upscale with a lot of wood, stone, and brick accents, along with an industrial look with an exposed ceiling style. There is a bar where you can sit and watch a game or two, and a couple areas of seating with tables at the center and booths along the side. They also have a nice patio outside with a cute vintage looking neon Lazlo's sign. Lazlo's has a nice beer, wine, and cocktail menu. I did a flight of the beers and they come as pretty heavy pours - four 5 oz beers, so 20oz total. I chose the Sun Slinger, Chaco Canyon Gold, Burning Skye, and Mind Over Mango. My favorites were the Burning Skye and Chaco Canyon Gold, because they were lighter and easier to drink. The others were good too, I just have to slowly sip IPAs (Sun Slinger) and don't always love fruity beers (Mind Over Mango), but if you like those things, maybe your favorite will be the opposite of mine. Our favorite thing to get food-wise is the standard Lazlo's Burger. It's always well cooked and extra tasty with their Lazlo's honey mustard sauce. The fries that come with the burger are nice and hearty and also amazing dipped in that honey mustard! We also love the Key Lime Pie for a dessert when we have room left for that. It's creamy and tart, and is topped with a strawberry drizzle that works well together with the sour key lime flavor. Is the cheapest place? Not by a long shot, but you get what you pay for in quality. I think I slightly prefer the Lincoln location because it's a little more "broken in" and warm feeling, but this Omaha Lazlo's location is a solid choice - and a lot closer than Lincoln! read more

Our second time here. Only because it is quite the distance from home. I had the shaved prime rib enchiladas and it did not disappoint! It not only had the prime rib, but corn, black beans, onion and I found a jalapeño or two. A bit spicy for me at times but the rest of it made up for it. I'm not a fan of rice so an ala carte option would be nice. Hubs had the pork ribeye again, juicy and good taste. Beats others he has had. The side of rice could have been warmer but taste was good. Fries were crinkly and not too crispy. He would have preferred some bread with his meal. I had a regular margarita and two of the spiced peach margaritas. Two I said! Sooo good! He had the Kentucky Blue Mule that I thought was awful but he liked it and had two. We sat at the bar and the service was prompt and professional. Atmosphere is comfortable. On this outing, almost all of our selections were fully satisfactory except for the salmon avocado salad. My one critique is how skimpy the salmon fillet was for the entree price. A wedge of bread would have helped round out the meal but the server said Lazlo's removed their bread option awhile ago. So while my dining companions had a robust and filling lunch, I was left feeling a bit lackluster about the salad portion size. My one area of improvement is to serve a larger salmon fillet. That aside, the freshness was on point and the dressing is perfectly paired. read more

I came in for an off hour lunch (3p). While the service was attentive-several servers checking in, the food was really poor. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. When it arrived, I touched the fries, barely tepid. I didn't touch the sandwich yet. They came back a few minutes later. Hot fries, but the sandwich was also barely tepid, and then bun for the sandwich was pathetically stale. I sent it back a second time and said, "Hey, I'd like an entire fresh hot meal". Even the second round when the items came hot the bun still tasted like it had been pulled from the cooler 2 weeks ago. I've been here a few times before and been pretty pleased. Came here on a random night and unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. We sat and there was a dead fly stuck to the window directly next to us. It was the first thing I noticed so its shocking no one else noticed while cleaning? Ordered the crispy hot Buffalo chicken sandwich. It was very small, breading came off. Asked the server for ranch, he explained they had a garlic aioli. I said great and he never brought it. The fries are overly seasoned with pepper. I hated then and so did my kid. Came in at 9:15pm, after an event in Omaha, apparently upset the bartender. Verbally abusive , kitchen closes at 9:30, Lazlo's closes at 10pm. The bartender was so upset he barely took our order, then wouldn't even tell us his name as he is being an a$$. We canceled our order, and the manager comped what we tried to order and we left. If Lazlos is open til 10, why bother if the bartender didn't want to order anything after 9:15pm. We will NEVER return to Lazlo's. read more

Last night 7 of us went to Lazlo's for dinner. They were fairly crowded and got our group seated in a reasonable amount of time. The food was really great for all 7 of us served very hot and fresh, couldn't have been any better. Our server Madisyn was absolutely outstanding she stayed on top of everything for us and for her other customers. It was amazing how efficient and organized she was. I've been to Lazlo's many times, but apparently have never reviewed them! Recently visited for lunch with coworkers, and we were greeted and seated right away. The beer was cold and delicious as always! My go to is the Burning Skye scottish ale. For lunch, I chose a favorite dish, rainbow chicken, and I really like their sweet potatoe fries for a side. I stopped in with my wife and son today for a spontaneous lunch date. We decided on Lazlo's since every time we come there is always great food and options for everyone. This time I decided to be a little adventurous and try their smoking gunn burger which has peanut butter on it (among other, more traditional things) with sweet potato fries. I have to be honest and say I was little underwhelmed with the burger this time around. There was very little peanut butter on the bun so I hardly could taste it and the burger was quite over cooked. I would like to come back and give it another try because this was an abnormal experience from my previous times at Lazlo's but would maybe try something else in the future. The fries at least were delicious! My wife had the chicken sandwich, and although I didn't try any, it looked (and she told me) it was really good. My son has the peanut butter and jelly, which I did try and it was quite good for a PBJ :) Overall, we had a very nice lunch at Lazlo's so I'll definitely be back for more again soon. read more

It was so good! Very juicy and a smoky flavor that was perfect. Ordered double green beans for my sides and a side of the honey mustard sauce for dipping my sandwich and green beans into....YUM! Took my mother to dinner Saturday evening. We got there at the perfect time, had a booth available without any waiting. The service was great, and the food was even better. The portions were perfect as well. My mother had to take a to go box because it was so much food. It was definitely worth the price, which weren't outrageous at all, unlike some other places. read more
