Tap house is a go too for me and my family! Also had good vibes the wait staff is quick and knows the menu very well! I love their peanut butter burger but I tried the hangover and it might take the cake! The smash burgers are thin and crispy and the melted cheese and egg compliments so well! Also the crispy Brussel sprout appetizer is the bomb!! So flavorful and has a sweeter sauce that really sets them apart!

Great local feel at lunch. The server was very nice and attentive. The food was great, cooked and served exactly as we ordered. The place was hopping around 12:00 but we got a seat right away. They have daily specials and were even doing a special customer appreciation event-GO GET YOURS during the month of December!! We can't wait to go back and try their Cuban sandwich and other house specials! The crowd was friendly and seemed like a lot of them were just enjoying themselves with friends at their usual place. The coziness was casual, rustic, industrial like. You will like it, GO!!!

Food: I've had a hankering for a good burger for a few weeks, and although we missed National Burger Day we had to make up for it! Swung out West, and tried OTH's monthly feature, the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. Topped with TWO house made mozzarella sticks, great maranaria sauce and what we felt like was a small taste of chicken. LOTS of mozzarella in those cheese sticks which kinda took away from the chicken... parm... aspect, but still good. Would have liked to taste the star of the show though! Super unusual to see a Cucumber and Onion Salad as a side, but sign us up! It had a GREAT heat kick at the end, and quite frankly, I could've eaten my weight in it... Also grabbed their Blue Cheese Bacon burger, cause I'm feeling a little salty today and maybe sweet AND savory on Thursday. But this burger ticks all three boxes folks. Great blue cheese tang, with the sweetness of the beer braised onions along side their smoky mayo. Chose their fries as my side, kissed by ranch (I don't want to hear it!). They're definitely potatoes, with the right amount of salt to oil. Few crunchier ones but a good mix overall. We would definitely go again to try just their plain smash maybe on their BYOBurger Day, with ALL the fixings!

The first thing I noticed about this place was the amount of items in the menu! They have such a wide variety from burgers to sandwiches to rice bowls. I went with my family and each of us ordered something completely different. I ordered the buffalo chicken mac which was tasty but I was surprised that there was a sweet coating on the bacon. It threw the dish off since it wasn't listed in the menu as having a glaze, otherwise it was pretty tasty. Our waiter Mike was very attentive but didn't hover over the table which was really nice. He would come over and have a joke ready for our next interaction with him. If you do end up taking a trip here, I recommend looking at the menu ahead of time, there are so many different items to choose from and it can seem overwhelming at first. It definitely gave us a reason to come back!

Attention all burger lovers! Omaha Tap House is the place to be on Tuesday nights (BOGO burger special with purchase of two drinks). Quite a selection of creative burger options and 40 beers on tap. We ordered the jalapeño margaritas - too sour and sweet for me, I'd stick with a beer next time. My smash burger was pretty tasty and had double patties (6 oz) for a good protein option. Salads on the menu looked tasty - I will have to try one next time.

I was in town and was craving a good burger. I read the description and thought this I have to try! Oh I was not disappointed!! So thick and juicy and delicious the amount of melted cheese made me so happy. The bacon tomato chutney was sublime just the hit of sweetness was the highlight to my tastebuds. Since I had it delivered I went for the tots. I'm so glad I did they were crunchy. The big burger was worth the price!

    Wing Wednesday!

Went to our neighborhood spot after picking our son up from school. Service was friendly as always. The server remembered us. It is Wing Wednesday so got some wings. 75 cents per wing! We got 18. Honey bbq, buffalo, and tried something new, a dry rub-dill pickle. They were all so delicious! I was surprised at how good the dry rub was. I love that the wings are all flats here. My daughter who does not like always orders the cheese curds. One of the only times she eats cheese. It was happy hour so got some cheap drinks as well. Omaha Tap House never disappoints! Def come here, especially on Wednesdays for some cheap wings!

This burger was incredible! I got the smoked Gouda bacon chutney so first had to look up chutney but after looking it up it' sounded like something I had to try. It had fried cheese and when you bite into it, it's quite messy but oh so tasty with so much cheese. The chutney was a nice sweet taste on the burger. Of course I had to upgrade to their famous (to me) cheese curds. Definitely the best curds in town!

We visited Tap House with a few friends on Saturday night. The place was busy, but we were sat in a pretty short amount of time. We started with two appetizers: the pretzel bites and the cheese curd platter. The pretzel bites were absolutely delicious. Sometimes when you go to a restaurant, you can tell that the pretzel bites are just heated up from being frozen, but these were soft, flavorful, and the cheese on the side was also really good. The curd platter was also delicious and came with two types of cheese curds, and three different sauces, but I will say for the price I expected there to be more curds on the platter For my meal, I had the 3150 burger. This burger has peanut butter and grape jelly, along with aged white cheddar and bacon, and it's one of my favorite burgers of all time. If you haven't had the combination of a burger and peanut butter and jelly, you are missing out. On the side I had sweet potato fries, which were also really delicious. They are both sweet and salty, as they are sprinkled with some kind of cinnamon sugar on top, but they come with a spicy ranch to dip in. Even when I felt super full, I couldn't help but to keep snacking on these fries. Overall, if you are in the mood for a burger, you can't go wrong here. There are so many options that it's really hard to choose just one!

    Hangover Burger

After delivering food from here over one summer, I decided that I had to go here. Well, my son and I finally did. We ordered carryout, but I will mention that the interior of the restaurant is pretty clean, the staff is usually friendly and attentive even the place is often busy. So, I've been impressed there even though I haven't eaten in. My son got the hangover burger (a traditional burger with bacon, fried egg, and cheese). I got the Peanut Butter Cream Cheese burger - served on toasted bread, it's a very palette-pleasing combination of gooey cream cheese and sweet peanut butter, which provides an excellent cover to a juicy, flavorful patty. The fries were tasty, but do the trip lost a bit of the crunch (the one I snuck in the car was crispy and delicious). This place has excellent food and I will definitely be going back!

This place has some great food!! The cheese curds and huge and the best in town. The sauce makes them a 10/10. The wings are pretty good. The burgers are pretty good too. They have a great selection of flavors. They have a decent amount of beers on tap, and a whole fridge of canned drinks not listed on the menu. It's a good place to watch the games. The drinks are slightly on the pricier side.

It was ok...the noise was horrible...they were "dragging those stools around it sound like a cat fight out by a dumpster! The chicken wings were good...we had the honey mango habanero and the jalapeño dry rub...(too salty for me...dipping in ranch helped) I had the brussel sprouts ...a bit overcooked and cold...Dean had the jalapeño smoked chedder burger..it was great...served with a side of jalapeño fries...crunchy and delicious...wait staff was preoccupied somewhere...I got up to get some more water from the bar...after one bite he came back to ask how everything was ..we finished and I got up and got my own box...and he never came back so we left the money on the table and left ...disappointing since it was my first time trying them out...I won't be back

Honestly, we weren't that... impressed, but we gave it a valiant go on both meals chosen! Kinda bummed there wasn't a drink menu with cocktails, but they had a great selection of wine ranging from $100-$500 a bottle. So, we stuck with water. Bread and creamy butter was dropped off while we waited and who can't resist a warm roll? Got the Trail Boss Prime Rib, with salad bar, and baked potato side was requested as medium. The au ju lacked flavor, and only lasted a few bites before not used at all. The baked potato was delish though! Prime rib was very tender, a lot of cap which was nice, but it was just sorta.. average. I snagged their Teriyaki Tenderloin Kabob on a bed of wild rice, salad bar, and asparagus side (probably the first restaurant I've seen that's offered asparagus as an actual side), requested well done. By all accounts it does look a bit charred, but when the veggies were pulled apart, they were warm and tender and paired well with the teriyaki and rice. That rice was delish! Asparagus didn't blow any air up my skirt unfortunately, because I really wanted it to blow my mind. I felt like we left a lot of food on our plates, but that could've just been how it was. We just felt... underwhelmed and wasn't picking up on all the hype.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

I noticed a lot of newer eateries and businesses in Aksarben since the last time I was there, so hopefully some of them stick around a while. Anyhoo, on to Crispy Burger! First off, the interior is bright and colorful, with a lot of orange, red, and then an accent wall of black and white geometric shapes. It's a super welcoming vibe! One thing that's kind of weird is that the building (and Yelp and Google) says Crispy Chicken, but all the wrappers and signs say "Crispy Burger" which was confusing. The smells inside when you walk in make your mouth water, so get ready to over order if it's your first time here (we definitely did!) They have a LOT of fried things, like fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, etc. So this definitely is not an every day place if you are looking for health food. We ordered the cheese sticks to start and they were enormous. Definitely shareable between a few people, as each cheese stick is like an appetizer in itself! I ordered the nuggets and fries, and they were really well breaded and pretty large. You can choose from about 1500 sauces for dipping (ok, maybe more like ten, but that's still a lot!) The fries were great too, that come as a side in your box. My husband had the bone in chicken wings combo, and he was very pleased with his choice. Gigantic wings, with fries, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Now is Crispy Burger fine dining or somewhere you'd go on a date night? Definitely not. The nuggets reminded me of a similar fast food location with the Golden Arches logo. It looked bleak at first but this was fairly accurate and we moved up pretty quickly (you are able to track how many tables are ahead of you online, which is nice). They had lots of empty tables so it appears maybe not full but rather short staffed, hostess was nice. Our server was very nice and quick to get us both our beverage orders out, as well as my child's kid meal prioritized before the rest of our meals. We did have a hiccup with her forgetting to put in one of the meals initially, she owned up to this and was apologetic, and pushed it out for us after the rest of us had our food. It did take a few more minutes but it seemed to come out with an extra slider. Food was overall good. Most of us ordered wings, and I will say they were very big and meaty, high quality wings. We got hot and spicy garlic for sauces. The hot was good, classic, with a nice kick. My issue with the spicy garlic is that it wasn't spicy at all, more or less salty, and pretty dry. I'm not sure if this was a mishap or if perhaps our server (who was also new) put in the wrong sauce for us, but spicy garlic is my go to sauce for wings and this wasn't it. The fries were shoestring and good, a side order was a lot to share. We did the boom boom sauce on the side with fries, it is a good dipper but I would not want that on my wings, so we made the right choice there. Kids burger was also pretty good sized and the burger was juicy. Ambiance is fun, garage themed. They also have several alcoholic dessert shakes if in the mood for that.
