Although this is more of a dive/sports bar, I would highly recommend coming in for their salmon salad! I was looking for something healthy and delicious, and definitely found it! I came in for a work lunch, and had no trouble getting a table for 4 at 11:45. The atmosphere was very casual a little tight, but not overly crowded or loud. The menu had a lot of options, and I was impressed with the fresh ingredients, and delicious vinaigrette on the salad. The salmon was cooked great as well! Nice place. Tons of TV's and they had a great assortment of spots on. Place is a tad packed and quite loud, but they're family friendly. I noticed a party room towards the back. Our waitress was just fine. No mistakes, didn't bother us too much or leave us needing her. I didn't catch her name. The young man at the entrance was great as well. Got us situated with a baby hammock for my 5 week old nephew! Good was fine. My fries could have been cooked a little longer. They were a tad mushy. Their ranch is amazing! I got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was good, but the menu doesn't say it has scallions, so I didn't ask for them to be excluded. I detest onion flavor so I didn't really enjoy my wrap. I basically took it apart and just ate the chicken out of it. I'm sure I would have loved it if I knew to ask for no onions. Prices are a little higher for bar food, but we aren't from Omaha so we're not used to Omaha prices. The tab was probably right on for the city's economy. My brother and sister-in-law live so close. Well, let's talk about the ambience. It's a sports bar, but the volumes were not turned up so loud that it was annoying you could watch whatever was playing.. I'd give the service 4+ stars, waitress was personable, checked on us a couple of times there was another gentleman. I don't know if he was a manager or what but came around, checked with us.. My grandson and I both had the Reuben and they were great not quite sure what my granddaughter had but she really enjoyed it. After a recent dinner at Cunninghams I was really impressed with the food and service, so I thought it deserved a review. The phrase "bar food" gets thrown around a lot when describing a restaurant, but I think Cunninghams has a higher level of food, maybe elevated bar food or something. The standout to me is the smoked chicken wings, they are in the conversation for some of the best wings in Omaha in my opinion. I got the buffalo flavor, and they were excellent, very juicy and seasoned well. Other highlights were the excellent fish and chips and the burger. The atmosphere is pretty much standard modern sports bar, there are a lot of TVs and lots of room for large groups. They also have a really nice selection of beers on tap. read more

This place is so good. I've had so many things here. From specials like chicken fried chicken, to 4 alarm wings (like a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10). Today I tried the hot mess burger. The hamburger was so perfectly shaped and consistent I question if it's hand crafted like everything else I've had here. However it was great and didn't taste like a premade patty from Sam's club. I thought I had remembered this place having really good food but it has been several years since I visited. I went with a friend recently and we were underwhelmed. The inside looked a little dark so we opted to sit on the patio but it took a while for service out there. To be fair, it did seem like there was only one server on duty that had the entire restaurant and patio. She was very friendly but we had to ask for things a few different times and the table next to us went inside a couple of times to order drinks and food. Aside from that, the food was not that good. It could be that we didn't order correctly. I see many people compliment the wings but I did the sauced tenders, which were just okay - maybe frozen but I couldn't tell for sure. My friend got the philly and there was something off about the taste that she just couldn't pinpoint. They do have a great selection of beers though. The patio was also nice in the sense that it was fully covered so you could sit out there in the rain but the tables and chairs were a little rusted. Overall, I may give it another chance down the road to at least try the regular wings but not a place that I will be racing back to anytime soon. read more

This place is a hidden gem in the Old Mill area! Came here with a group of 7 for a work lunch and we were seated promptly. They have a "something for everyone" menu as well as great craft beer selection and cocktails. I tried the thai chicken wrap and really enjoyed it! The carne asada nachos looked amazing as well. Another great experience here! We love watching football, having drinks & eating lunch or dinner here. We like the wide open space, friendly service & multi TV's to watch our favorite teams play. The mixed cocktails-Mai Tai are flavorful but not much liquor. Lots of beer options tho! I always go back to the Turkey hummus avocado wrap!! There's a few extra things inside to make this meal Delicious! My hubby got the Blue Cheese Burger w Fried onion rings. I thought the burger was small compared to the fried onion ring on top, but he enjoyed it. My new favorite find was BLT Bites! These are so mouth watering Good!! Absolutely new favorite place! 1) the staff is amazing and super friendly and helpful with the menu. 2) the drinks- we tried the Bloody Mary. BEST we have ever had. It's all about the ingredients not all the fluff that other places tried to hide their drink with. Next we tried the margaritas. On the rocks with salt. Just perfect. Not too sweet, not too sour and not all the crappy syrup most places use. This is a legit, true margarita- the way they are supposed to be made. 3) ok the food. The BLT sliders. Perfect appetizer. The in house smoked bacon, naan bread and aioli (made in house). Just awesome. Next we tried the wings. Buffalo and Bushmills sweet and sour. All wings are smoked in house and grilled and sauced. The BEST wings in Omaha. Can't wait to try their other flavors! Last we tried the carne asada nachos. Again - just awesome. The deli on used is marinated for two days and smoked them cubed. What we really liked is the melted cheese on the chips with tops but had the beer cheese in the middle to dip them in. Hence no soggy chips! There is some heat with the peppers but perfect blend! Had a super great lunch today at Cunningham's. My pal Bob and I went for lunch and a couple of beers. The service was as quick and efficient and the young lady at the bar was very nice. Had a couple nice IPA's. Bob had the Louisiana hot chicken and I had the blackened chicken, A+. I also had the bacon Mac and Cheese also great. I have been here before and they never disappoint. I've lost track of how many sports bars do well enough with the TVs and the beer, but fall flat when it comes to the food (I'm looking at you, Buffalo Wild Wings). I'm happy to report that Cunningham's is the total package. Now, about the TVs and the beer: There are giant TV screens everywhere you look showing a variety of programming (not just sports). The beer selection is impressive, with many excellent options brewed in Nebraska. Most pints cost $5 - $6, which is great for what you get. There is ample space indoors for safe distancing, but there is also outside dining available. Diners need to wear masks until they sit, and servers wear masks fulltime. Now, on to the food: I saw the Guinness Braised Beef Stew, and I had to try a cup (only $4). It was hearty, loaded with massive chunks of beef, and maybe just lacking a bit of salt. A bowl was only $6. I decided that the centerpiece of my day was going to be the Big Mac & Cheese Burger. This monster (maybe 3/4 of a pound of excellent lean beef) featured a pile of tasty mac & cheese, bacon, and tasty blueberry sriracha jam. I swapped out the American cheese for cheddar. I managed to cram the entire thing into my belly somehow. I'm hurting, but happy. I ordered tater tots on the side, which may have been the best tots I've ever had: nicely crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside. My wife's grilled chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked. I have gotten so used to grilled chicken breast being dry that I've stopped ordering it when I go out. But, Cunningham's really gets it. The fries she had on the side were also great (but not as great as my tots!) Even the ranch dressing was high quality. Best of all, the price was good and the service was flawless. I'll be in town a few days, and there are a lot of excellent dining options in Omaha, but I have to think I'll be back here again more than one time before I leave. read more

My partner and I showed up at 9:34, we were greeted by a young lady who casually informed us that they close at 10 but we could still order food because they kitchen was still open. There were a few tables taken, people were eating while a variety of college games playing on the tv's. Another young lady approached our table and took out orders for both drinks and food; within minutes and drinks came followed shortly thereafter by our food. Everything was great. I half expected the cook to rush our orders but if he did, it surely didn't show. I got a turkey hummus wrap, delicious! Heavy mashed avocado, cheddar and turkey, cucumber, and of course the hummus and greens. I love it, wish I had one now! My partner got the Tri Cheese Steak Sandwich which I had a bite of, and it was great! Definitely not a traditional cheese steak but for what it was, it was absolutely tasty, particularly the cream cheese sauce in it. We thought the pieces of meat were a little thick but otherwise, a great sandwich. My Bloody Mary was really good! So good, I ordered a second;) Partner says the old fashion he ordered was good but as little hard to sip seeing as how all the muddled cherry pieces kept getting stuck in the straw lol. I know it's not traditional to muddle the cherry but that's my preference. Overall, the service was quick and the server polite, the food and drinks were great. My husband and I were spending a weekend in Omaha and wanted someplace close to our hotel. Not being familiar with the area (it seems that Google Maps wasn't either) or took us much longer than it should have for being less than a mile from our hotel. We almost just went somewhere else, but I'm so happy we didn't. The food was awesome, the our server was great and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Their menu has so many options that you're bound to find something you'll love. We loved it so much we went back the next day to watch football and try some more off the menu. This is a great spot. Very busy at lunch, and no surprise. The Hot Irish Mess burger is delicious, with a great combination of flavors with the sauce and rings working together. I also had a cup of the Guinness Braised Beef Stew, which is a work of art. I'll be back for more of that I'll also be back for some of the other options, specifically since I intend to work my way through the Mac & Cheese section of the menu. This is a good pub with good food, good parking, a good location and good service. That the tables are now spaced for antiviral safety is a great plus. They have an outside seating area, but it was still chill enough to enjoy the inside better. I suspect I'll enjoy it more when we can sit in a throng of people and enjoy the noise. Cunninghams is easy to appreciate. Bar food is kicked up a notch with offerings such as PB&J wings, creative burgers and a great variety of local beer. Service really matters to the staff at Cunninghams - not only have they kept their website up to date with the ever changing COVID regulations regarding dine-in, carry-out, etc., but when we arrived for our carry-out order they were very conscientious of making sure we received the right items and even took the extra step of labeling each of the boxes (take note restaurants, this quick/easy step is much appreciated for to-go). They also offer ordering via email. Navigating the Old Mill area is a little tricky so Cunninghams can be easy to miss, but worth the stop if in the mood for some good casual pub food. read more

This was my first visit to Cunningham's off of 108th. Parking gets a bit tricky during the lunch hour. Sandwiches are great here as well as the service. It gets loud in the main restaurant so expect this to be the case when you arrive. The back bar area is great for group reservations if you are planning a gathering. In today's episode of "Review from a toilet" we discuss the local phenomenon that is Cunningham's Pub and Grill We were greeted, due to a rain storm passing through, by a nearly impassable body of water guarding the front entry. Our first of many signals to retreat, all of which we ignored. With soggy shoes and jeans, we proceed inside where the bored as shit host quietly stared at us waiting for us to answer the not-as-yet asked question "How many?" "2 please" "K. This way" We follow him to a table for 1. So now our brave host must search the land far and wide to presumably rescue another stool from some unnamed dragons den. Or perhaps another table. Who knows. Our waters greets us promptly, and within 30 seconds she's visibly irritated that we haven't planned our meal yet, let alone our drinks. She offers water, to which Misty offers a counter offer: "can I have a Mountain Dew instead?" "So, no water?" She's brilliant. She turns to me "how about you?" "I'll need a minute" I haven't got my glasses so I'll need sone time to decipher the menu, which appears as though it was written in the same typeset as the growing list of possible side effects on a bottle of Advil. "K. I'll bring you a water" she chants as she disappears. Misty and I are here due wings. So we scout the menu and finally find them, not only are they offered in lots of odd counts, but their prices are incongruous as well. I'm growing more irritated by the combination of unoriginal, over priced pub fare and cold wet feet. After finding wings, along with a half dozen pretentious sounding dipping sauces, we agree on Buffalo and Nashville hot. And some nachos. Our waitress returns with our drinks, and attempts to hurry us through our order. She obviously has better things to do, and answering our questions is not part of her plan. The first of which, " can we try some of your sacuses before ordering?" Was met with a solid "no, we don't do that" followed by some poorly rehearsed monologue about the sauces being hand made, bla bla bla. And again she disappears. At this point I should have walked. But we are here. And we're hungry for wings. And the innerwebs says this is a hot spot in omaha. So we dig in and commit to Cunninghams. Who knows? Maybe they'll surprise. The waitress returns again, and rushes us through the order of our meal and scurries off. I never did get a follow up on beverage choice. Meanwhile, a sports bar with a large variety of televisions plays a variety of football games (no hockey, I notice) as a house full of patrons chatter loudly in the background. Our meal arrives, and the wings are smoky smelling, which is pleasant, but are scantily laced with the sauces of our choice. The Buffalo tastes like Buffalo. Frank's red hit and some form of butter flavored liquid. The Nashville hot just tastes like spicy barbecue. Utterly disappointing on both accounts. The nachos, while a LOT smaller than anticipated, were somewhat fresh. Several types of cheeses and carne asada. Fresh and pickled peppers. Tomatoes. The idea was good. And somewhat tasty, if not rather skimpy. And obviously overpriced. Overall I'd have to say I'll likely not be returning. A diner can stand to be confronted with Bad service, overpriced menu, skimpy/poorly prepared menu items, but all three is a rather rare pull on this type of slot machine. Overall score 3/10. Food, while edible, was not satisfying. Service was lacking. Menu is overburdened and overpriced. read more

She was very nice and responsive, however, she left at 5pm without telling us or introducing our new server. My extended family and I were looking for a spot for about 20-25 of us to all hang out together and have some good drinks and food. This turned out to be a great meet-up spot as we had several people from out of town staying all over Omaha, from Aksarben to Valley. Having left Omaha about 13 years ago, I had never heard of this spot, but it has a good homey vibe. On a Tuesday evening, we were a pretty overwhelming group, so they gave us their party room, which was perfect, because there were a lot of us, all catching up, playing musical chairs, and with different food and drink orders. We could all chat and move around without being bothered. They had a great list of craft beers, and I had a Kinkaider Snowbeast, which was great. My sister and I weren't very hungry so we decided to share some apps. We did the fried mushrooms and chips and salsa with beer cheese. The food was really good. I didn't hear any complaints. Overall, the staff was very accommodating, but we did stay a very long time, and toward the end of the night, it was pretty obvious the staff wanted us gone. I'd almost dock them a star for being unfriendly, but like I said, we were an overwhelming group. read more

Been traveling all day so just wanted something close to the hotel. Started off my drinking based on recommendation from my waitress and had the Pucking Delicious. Not that sour at all. Too sweet and no alcohol. Next had a couple of Old Fashion. Clearly they are not known for this drink. Orange slice and a cherry with whiskey. Strong but not a good flavor. Oh well, I guess I will just stick with making my own from now on. BBQ cheddar and then some was my choice of food. Sandwich was good, nice flavor of pork and spices. Toast was a bit crunchy and dry and unfortunately no jalapeño flavor at all. Fries were plain, no flavor until i dipped them in mustard. Nothing more than a typical sports bar. I'm sure on game night it is a good place to relax with your buds, just don't go for the food. Its average at best overall. read more
