Location is about 1 hr from Atlanta, pretty easy to get to just a straight shot up I-75. The turn on google maps is a little off on the final stretch but they have a sign so we didn't have any problems finding it. You drive up this really long gravel road that circles their property and park by the big red barn they have. That's where they stable the alpacas and horses they have. They have two short haired pointers outside that are very friendly and will probably greet you. They also have great danes that they breed that are very friendly but those are in a fenced area so no need to be nervous. The farm owner/tour guide wasn't around when we got there so we called the number from google and she came over. We rode in her gator which is like a mix between an ATV and a tractor. Circled around the whole 60 acres of estate and she pointed out all her family's houses that they've built and where they pasture all their animals. Sadly they sold their goats but they have a really cute miniature donkey that we petted. Once you get back from the tour you can pet and feed the alpacas. Basically you get to give them their daily meal of feed so they will swarm you and you can pet them while they eat their feed. There's about 13 alpacas but they are all very friendly and do not bite! So no need to worry. Their horses also come over, they have nine very beautiful horses one of which is a cute pony. They also will eat the pellets so you can pet those as well. They have a little store with products made from their alpaca's fur so you can get that stuff. We watched them herd their alpacas from their stables to pasture, which was pretty difficult haha, and then we left. Overall great experience! Definitely wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty. You'll probably walk away with a little alpaca poop on your shoes. Also the alpacas don't exactly spit but sometimes they sneeze and they can definitely sneeze on you. They look super cute with their bobblehead haircuts and I would definitely recommend coming for a visit!

Not to our surprise, we found a gem! They sell a plethora of all naturally grown products (no preservatives) just to name a few: fresh pecans, nuts, an assortment of jams/spreads/butters, ciders, fresh honey and much more! They even have their pecans cooking in their crock pots nice and hot with two different flavors. They offer samples to settle your buyer uncertainties :-). They also sell souvenirs, which was a plus for us being that i was pretty bummed we didn't get the chance to purchase one before we left the city. The owner was extremely kind, and sweet! He answered any questions I had and began to engage in conversation with my boyfriend about the history of the town. I couldn't say enough good things about this shop, but when I asked him if he knew what yelp was he didn't have the slightest clue, so you know we had to put the shop on the map!!! Check them out, you won't regret it!! The chocolate covered pecans are amaaaaazing. And the cider is 10/10. They're located right next to the Sunoco gas station, right off the 411 highway exit. We stopped at the Savoy Automotive Museum on a Sunday morning when they opened (10 a.m.). We had…read morevisited almost 5 years ago and were in the area again. We got free admission via a bank promotion. The site is quite large, with a few additional buildings / pavilions. They have a huge parking area. The staff was friendly when we arrived. The museum is a bit smaller than I recalled. That may be due to having visited a larger auto-themed museum a few months ago; maybe that skewed my perspective. Here, they have a long central hallway currently showing a series of NASCAR entries from the 1950s through the present. Some of the models recur, so it is a good overview of how the cars have evolved over the decades both in style and in how they are outfitted for racing. There are also several attached rooms with their own sets of vehicles. One featured a variety of Jeeps from the original military type, through mail delivery vehicles from the 80s, to variants from Japan, etc. Another room featured historical vehicles - concept cars, a car owned by Amelia Earhart, a van used by a civil rights organization on an island in South Carolina, etc. A third was devoted to luxury-type vehicles of various types. At one end of the main hall is a theater where they apparently show films once a month. Outside of that are older cars (Ford Model Ts) and a collection of car-themed artwork on the walls. From what I recall, they have changed out most of the vehicles versus what I recall from last time. They may have some that are museum-owned, but they appear to get quite a number of on-loan cars, which potentially makes the experience somewhat fresh on each visit. They also had a cafeteria, though we left before lunchtime. We spent about an hour here, though you could probably easily double that if you were more of a car enthusiast. This is definitely worth a stop.
