HEATHER is absolutely the BEST server they have! Give that woman a raise! She runs her butt off! She is always so friendly, attentive and makes sure your order comes out right! The food is very good and they have a great menu, a lot of options and the portion size is not small, I always have a lot of leftovers! With that being said, I do not recommend going there on Sundays because the food isn't as good as the rest of the week... might need to think about replacing those cooks... just a thought. Camp inspired restaurants with good drinks and food, we came around 5:30 Pm on a Sunday decent amount of people. The restaurant has bang booth and bar seating. Lazy dog has a large menu with drinks, appetizers and main. I got the chicken lettuce wrap and fries. Hubby got the bibimbap bowl. We also got a beer flight each. Staff were so friendly since it was our first time they gave us complimentary fried chips. The food was decent I think BJs had better food but a solid option with good vibes. What an interesting concept! We went to this restaurant because it's dog friendly, and we weren't waiting long for a table. Since we had a dog we were sat on the patio. Usually I don't like being outside but then I got to see all the other puppers there! There's even a menu for the dogs to have something to eat. As for the human menu, they have such a wide variety of items. There was Mexican, Korean, American and much more. I chose the Chicken Pot Pie, and the Campfire Cookies with ice cream. Mitch was our waiter and he was great, he mentioned how lucky I was that the pie wasn't sold out. It was good, and a great enough size that I had leftovers. The cookies were also fabulous, definitely don't regret adding the ice cream to it. Even the device they use for payment is cool, it let us split the check three ways by selecting what items we wanted to pay for. One of the best restaurants in Tustin, located at the Market Place outdoor mall. We came here on Wednesday and even in the middle of rush hour lunch, it only took 10 minutes to get seated. Our waitress was Heather, and she was *awesome* she was really nice and helped us order, and then we had questions on their excellent iced tea, and she spoke with the manager to find out how we could get this brand, and in the end, we left with two full gallons of Lazy Dog iced tea. Great service. Heather really was superb. OK, on to the meal. We ordered two dishes. 1. Cheeseburger, fries and yes, iced tea. I had the cheeseburger with grilled onions. It was delicious and so were the fries. 2. Blackened chicken burrito bowl. My friend loved it. 3. We kept getting refills of our iced tea because it was great and Heather was always checking on us! We checked out Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar for their $65 Valentine's Special which included a welcome toast, starter to share, two entrees and a dessert to share as well. We started off with the Crispy Deviled Eggs with Candy Bacon! Then we got the Candy Bacon which I did not take a picture of it because we ate it so quick. Both were very tasty. Then my Hubs got a Bison Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes. I got the Grilled Idaho Trout with Crispy Potatoes and Garlic Green Beans. It was so good that we did not have any leftovers to take home. We finished off our night there with a Butter Cake which was yummy as well and we are grateful that our waitress was able to get us the last one before they had ran out. We visited this restaurant a couple of days ago. My wife was very disappointed with her entree. She ordered the fried chicken dinner which came with mashed potatoes and spinach. The chicken was very stringy and didn't taste fresh. According to our server, the chicken is frozen and comes already breaded. It's pretty sad when restaurants don't try to serve fresh ingredients. She mentioned it to our server, but he just offered to get her another piece of chicken. If they all come like that, what's the purpose of getting the same thing? He really didn't act like he cared. We have been to this Lazy Dog many times in the past and had very good dinners and service. It's unfortunate that this visit was not what we are used to. We will think twice about choosing this restaurant when we wish to go out for dinner in the future. Also the amount of potatoes and spinach was very small. read more

We decided to use our T-Mobile BOGO (up to $25 value) deal today which could be used for dine in or online so we placed a takeout order for 2 PM pick up. We received a text upon arrival at 2 PM that the new estimated pick up time was delayed for nearly 20 minutes. That aside, I selected, Thai Noodles, because it was on their Favorites menu. I am genuinely curious how this is a popular Lazy Dog dish because it taste nothing like actual Pad Thai. The shrimp and chicken were charred and almost inedible. The rice noodles were so overcooked, it was mushy. The other ingredients, egg and tofu, were tasteless. I definitely do not recommend ordering this entree. read more

It was delicious and an absolute steal for only $15! We started with an order of the House Bread, which was just alright. A memorable night at Lazy Dog in Irvine! After a harrowing, third world flight courtesy of Frontier (never again!) that took 7.5 hours I landed in the OC - ugh! My "friend" picked me up curbside and hardly bothered to even fully stop her car. What a welcome. To Lazy Dog for a much needed drink... From the moment I walked in, the cool, relaxed vibe had me hooked. Just kidding, it looks like all the other sports bar restaurants. The bartenders and staff were genuinely super friendly and attentive, making my Uber driver and I feel right at home. Drinks were a highlight with super generous pours on both cocktails and beer. The medicine I desperately needed. My Lyft driver did not partake. A few shots in and I was finally ready to talk to my poor excuse of a chauffeur. The appetizers were good too. Paired well with the alcohol and helped wiped away a miserable start to the trip. Overall, Lazy Dog in Irvine delivered a great experience from start to finish. Whether you're coming for drinks, apps, or to forget a miserable flight accompanied by the world's worst driver this place is a winner. Highly recommend. I got to try their happy hour menu, an entree, and a small plate. The happy hour extends to drinks and some food. I personally enjoyed the buffalo chicken nuggets, lemon tots, and devil eggs. I can't say I recommend the pea hummus, burger, and cauliflower ceviche. The poblano pork was impressively delicious. In general, Lazy Dog's menu is on the expensive side. I wouldn't say the quality is and taste is extraordinary, but it's good for the most part. The service I had was as expected, like southern hospitality. The service was so bad, the server would take forever to come back, she was nice but everything was so slow, I cannot give them anything higher than 3 stars, even if I loved the food. One of my goals in life is to be as excited about anything as our 16yr old dog gets upon arrival at LazyDog, who told me to make sure I leave a five-woof review. Fortunately for him, the food and service are great for humans too. Although parties containing a canine individual can't eat inside, the patio area is heated and comfortable for a meal. It has a mix of high and low-top tables, so it's best to state a preference when checking in. Expect a wait during busy times, but it won't be too bad - even in the middle of dinner rush on 'Family day Wednesday', where kids get a free sundae and emerge turbocharged (for a while), and during a T-Mobile promotion we were seated within 30mins. Food-wise, the salads are great, as are the chicken burgers. The sauce on the Edamame is superb. Last night I tried the new Sweet and Sticky ribs, which were pretty good. The best bit though is that your dog gets to eat too, and the bowls are huge for the price. One shared bowl comfortably feeds both our dogs, and they love it.
