Purchased a deal on yelp, and it was totally worth the money. This was my first time getting my lashes done and Renee did an amazing job. Its probably going to become my new addiction. The space is small and super cute. it's only run by Renee so try to schedule your appointment a bit in advance (I scheduled mine via text), and expect the process to take at least 1 to 2hrs. Renee herself is genuinely friendly and comforting. The process is painfree and over all pretty relaxing. Renee puts on soft music and is really gentle while applying (almost fell asleep). This is my first review on Yelp ever, in fact the first negative review I have ever done. But my experience was unbelievable. I live in the neighborhood so I decided to pass by to ask a simple question. The girl at the "front desk" came to open the door after I looked at her so she unlocks the door. She then asked "yes?" I asked if I could come inside because I had a question about their services since she was literally blocking me from entering the place. She moved away I guess letting me in and took her phone and started texting/browsing without even saying a word to me. It was so surreal!!! She didn't even want to look at me nor say a word to me! After a minute of that surreal situation I said, I'll come on another time and still didn't get a word from her. When I called Renee to book an appt I said, I have "a toddler with me is that okay?" she replied, "sure we have an Ipad here." that was music to my ears but I was still skeptical since well my daughter is three! When we got to the studio, Renee let my daughter choose her favorite show, Daniel Tiger and created a little play area for her with a yoga mat and some Kid Robot toys. My daughter was totally engaged through an eyelash appt and a bikini wax! For any moms this is truly unique to get a beauty treatment with kids. Most places would not allow kids. Lazy Lash is a studio by appt that is more one on one. Its quite private. Renee advised me to get the Natural lashes since they have a bit of curl and I always curl my eyelashes anyway. It was a relaxing experience and I almost fell asleep listening to the beach boys. When I woke up I looked instantly more beautiful. I had no other makeup but the lashes yet I looked "done." After our appt we went to the playground and even the "hielo" guy was hitting on me! My own husband could not tell I had lashes on...I think they are dramatic enough to make a difference yet just natural enough that men wouldnt notice...Your best girlfriend or mother would def ask what did you do? Renee gave me packets of coupons for touchups and a little brush! She even text messaged me about what type of makeup remover to use. I am so happy with the service I received. Honestly I was disappointed. I went twice to get my eyelash extensions. The first time I left my lashes looked great then a few hours later I had a few fall out. I called them and they happily fixed it. I even added more lashes on top of the ones I lost because I wanted a more glam look and it's been 2 days and I lost half of my lashes. Such a waste of money. Update: love my new lashes !! Rene was so nice in helping me fix the problem. The reason why my lashes came off was because they were too heavy for my natural lashes to hold. So Rene used thinner ones and a stronger glue which allowed my lashes to hold the extensions better, and now i have no complaints ! Definitely will be going back! read more

My first experience here was yesterday and Renee did not disappoint. Located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on a quiet little block; I was able to find parking on the street with no problem. Perhaps it was due to Good Friday? Who knows but I'll take it!!! Lazy Lash is located in a cute building with a short walk up (maybe 5-6 stairs total). The suite is - in one word: sweet. It's a comfortable yet intimate space and I was the only customer there at the time. I believe Renee works with a partner so there could have been at least two clients being worked on at once. Renee was very nice, very personable and after a quick talk about my lashes (which she thought were pretty nice on their own) she got to it. I laid out on the table...pillow for my head, pillow for my feet BUT OH how I WISH there was a pillow for my butt after a while! Being in that position for that amount of time (approx 40 min I believe) can be rough on the booty but I must say overall it wasn't totally unbearable. Renee has a very light touch, I could barely feel her working...come to think of it -I could barely even hear her breathing!!! I wish I could say the same thing for myself since my own snoring woke me up several times! (*Insert embarrassed face here) I opened my eyes to a great set of dramatic lashes and I'm excited to see how they work out and how long they last. Due to my naturally oily skin and sweating (which everyone tells me I should be thankful for because I'll look 50 when I'm 80) no mascara can truly stay on my lashes too long! Since I made Renee aware of this she used a stronger glue on me this time around sooooo here we go let's see how long this lasts!!! I'll definitely keep you updated. I recently had my lash done at Lazy Lash for my birthday. I bought a GiltCity coupon for glam lashes. I hasn't gotten my lashes done in ages but decided to give it a try again and boy am I happy I did. Renee did a fantastic job on my lashes. I've had strangers stop my on the street to compliment my lashes. I actually had a makeup artist ask me whether the lashes were mine. That alone provided to me Renee did a great job. When a makeup artist is working on your face and still cannot tell whether your lashes are fake or not means Renee did a GREAT job. Only problem is that now I think I'm going to get hooked since I love the look so much. I don't even have to wear makeup anymore because the lashes alone brighten up my face. They do not care about your time and will make you wait 30 minutes past your scheduled time to get your lashes done. I asked for a c curl and each time the lash lady gave me a j curl. I couldn't speak to her and tell her what exactly I wanted bc she doesn't understand English. About 10-15 of my lashes fell off within 24 hours of me getting them the last time I came here(I've been here about 6 times). If you come in a couple days past your two week time they will charge you for over two weeks to get your lashes refilled even if you've retained most of them. The pricing is weird- I prefer going to a place that has a set volume and classic option, classic you get one individual lash on each of your lashes no matter how big your eye is, they charge you by the lash here. 75 lashes touchup is like $68 with tip included and that doesn't even cover all of my lashes. There is a place down the street that has a set price for a classic set which is $60 for 120 lashes per eye. This place is not worth your money. read more

I got my lashes done here a handful of times. The first time my lashes came out perfect. The second time I got a 2 week touch up and they didn't look the same but still good. I came here several other times and my lashes were acceptable. The last time I came here I had to wait 30 minutes passed my appointment time, felt rushed, and my lashes fell off a week later, which has never happened. I had a pedicure scheduled which I wasn't able to get because Renea didn't realize she was doing my friends ( a friend I referred) lashes at that time and there was no other staff member there that could do them. Renea said that she was not scheduled with my friend however my friend made her appointment through text and still had the message.I ended up going down the block to primp and polish. My friend was told after her lashes that they did not have enough time for her pedicure. Which is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL . I've been to Renee twice now and I'm hooked. I was at first worried because I have sensitive eyes and am allergic to certain ingredients in Mascara, but the glue Renee uses is gentle and hasn't caused any irritation. I haven't had to wear eye makeup in about 4 weeks... it has cut my morning routine in half! If you don't mess with your lashes after you get them done, they'll last for a LONG time. I've had my eyelashes done before at another place they didn't talk to me about different lash sizes they just gave me 13s yes you read that right 13s across my eyes (yes even in the corner). Renee and her assistant made my eyelashes amazing ! They were so gentle even when they put the tape under your eye (she uses collagen patches not even tape). Finally a great place to get lashes done in Williamsburg! Renee is seriously the best. She is patient and attentive to details. Her studio is clean and tastefully decorated. The location is convenient and she is very flexible with appointments. She uses quality lashes and once when my lashes fell out early she replaced them free of charge (unheard of!). She takes her time and gets it right - new sets take about an hour and a half, so plan accordingly, but it is beyond worth it as your lashes will look natural and gorgeous. Renee is great at what she does. I've gotten lash extensions pretty regularly at various places over the years and she is the best technician I've ever used. She offers a variety of weights, volumes, lengths and curls, and will consult with you on what type of look you want to achieve, using a custom combination that she notes for future visits. I've been here about 5 or 6 times, and with the exception of one time, the lashes have always stayed put for at least 2 weeks, with all of them gone by 4 weeks. The one time I had an issue, Renee immediately fit me in for a complimentary re-do. Overall Renee is polite, efficient and friendly. She's always extremely accommodating and flexible with scheduling, and her prices are very reasonable, especially for the consistent quality of service.
