We had a package to ship oversees and LBC was our choice. They're located inside through the entrance of seafood city. Clean little storefront. When we arrived, there was two ladies who greeted us and very helpful. We just needed to ship one item and they gave us the idea of adding more items that was worth the size and weight for the box. They even let us take the box with us so we could see how much more we could add. They explained the process and fees. They made it easy and efficient. read more

I would like to express my disappointment with the customer service I received on Tuesday between 2:00 and 3:00 PM. When I entered the location, the lady at the counter did not greet me or even acknowledge me. I politely asked a simple question about whether there was a fee for sending money through GCash to the Philippines, but her response was very rude and dismissive. I understand that everyone has difficult days, but that should not be reflected in the way customers are treated. A simple greeting and a respectful response would have made a big difference. As a customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience left me very disappointed. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reminds staff that good customer service is an important part of any successful business. read more

Supposed to have a box pick up but never came. They should be mindful of people's time.

This review is for LBC's pick up service. I was a given a 'window' of 9 am to 2pm for pick up - which meant I had to wait around most of the day. Evrn then, 3pm rolled around and then 4pm and still nobody came to pick up, I called twice and all they could say was that my booking was still pending pickup! Ugh! I know that! It's now close to 5pm, I'm still stuck at home waiting and still no word from LBC. I'll try a different company next time. read more

LBC theives has stolen items 3 different shipments in a row (since President Duterte left office). We have been loyal customers for over 10 years. They will not take responsibility for their employees opening secured boxes and stealing the contents!! The pick up blames the warehouse, the warehouse blames it on the shipper and the delivery blames it on the warehouse. Each level of shipping state there is nothing they can do.We are demanding compensation but they continue to igore our requests. read more

Sent 5 boxes October 26th 2025 to the Philippines and sadly it's the middle of January 2026 and none has arrived yet. Followed up in their office in Manila but their service there sucks as the service here. They don't know what's going on with the boxes' delivery. Stay away from this shipping company. Does anyone even work here? No one picks up the phone and you can't even leave them a voicemail because their mailbox is full. Which tells me that numerous other people have issues with them. They were also supposed to show up at my house on Monday within a four hour timeframe and never did. They didn't bother calling to tell us what was up. You can either be incompetent or lazy but you can't be both. UPDATE: I had to call LBC's 800 number and I was told these people had the audacity to lie and mark our pickup as "completed". Excuse me, the balikbayan boxes sitting in my living room say otherwise. So now on top of being incompetent and/or lazy, you're also dishonest. Don't give these pricks your business. I had a great experience especially for my first time. I went to LBC inside Seafood City to get some boxes. The line was really long, but when I finally got inside, I got the help I needed and brought my boxes home to pack. There was even a deal at the time to send 2 large balikbayan boxes for $130 via sea cargo (they don't list that in the ad). I would say that the website is not easy to navigate through though. Once I completed my pickup request, I didn't receive a confirmation email so I was kind of in limbo. Anyway, my boxes eventually got picked up and the driver was so helpful in helping me figure out how to fill out the form because I didn't do it properly. My relatives in Aklan received their boxes in a little over a month. Also, don't forget to tip your driver. They work hard. read more

Driving the extra distance to drop off the balikbayan box for my father in the Philippines at the LBC Concord location was well worth it. LBC Concord has its own office space in the large Seafood City Super market. The location is very clean and open making social distancing easy as well as having the policy of only two customers allowed inside office. There were two LBC associates helping customers and available dollys to use to bring in boxes for sea cargo shipping. While the Vallejo LBC location was closer to me, I did not feel confident to utilize that location to ship my pkg. The Vallejo location was located in a small grocery store with one associate helping. Customers had to line up in one of three small aisles of the store and social distancing was nearly impossible. I highly recommend LBC Concord for your shipping needs to the Philippines. read more

Very POOR pick up service. Initially scheduled pick up on Saturday between 10 to 2 pm. They never showed up. Called to reschedule on Monday fpr pick up between 12-4 pm and driver called at 5pm that they will be late and will arrive shortly. Came 8:30 at night ( more than 4 hours late) to pickup the box. This is the worst cargo courrier when it comes to service and especially scheduling pick up for your cargo. Even their own cargo pick up personnel are complaining that they are under staff and booking for pick up forget it, on the day your scheduled pick up you've been pushed and re scheduled god forbids for next month because your cargo has been close out for pick up services and need to be re scheduled for next month. The pick up driver services are very nice just the manner and ways your so called scheduling your cargo. If there is a negative stars, literraly less than 1 star that should be the rating for this cargo.... read more

At almost 2 pm, a lady from LBC called and is rescheduling the pick up because the driver's truck broke down. So I was re-scheduled for today. At 10 am, I called the driver's cell number. No response. Then I called the office. The guy said he will try and call the driver. Then I texted the driver. No response. At past 2 pm, still no show, no responses! I tried to contact them multiple over the phone to get a price quote for envelope delivery to the Philippines but no one answered, so I had to call a different LBC branch to get the estimated cost. When I walked into their store, the person at the front took awhile to get my 2 deliveries ordered as he was only typing with 2 index fingers that my time there with him ended on lasting for over half an hour (I walked in with no line). So by the time I left, there were 2 people behind me On the good note, It took 8 days for LBC to deliver my envelopes despite of the Christmas fiasco (I dropped off from Dec20 and was received on Dec28). Courier Lloyd was supposed to be here from 11am to 2pm. Arrived at 3pm. Wife waited at the gate for half hour for him after he called way to early to say he was at the gate. Said he was hungry and "light-headed" and was late because he was eating a meal. We will use a different company the next time. Not good service at all.
