I was working & could not respond to my family member that was overseeing the painters. They installed new wood to cover deck area so I would not notice copper & water faucet gone!! House? No caulking, wood blemishes very visible. employees never reponded when ask to stop painting. One Sunday morning I came home with groceries, a person who was not speaking english, would not let me in gate. I was being told I cant come in yard. He had painted the door. (Not to be painted) I called Zackery, shared what was going on. He would be there right a way. Hours later he arrived, I Felt taken advantage of, Zackery had my money in his pocket & responding at his convenience only. Through this project removing copper, rushing through a job, no one checking in on job site, permanently nailing down eggresion windows & working on unplanned Sundays to paint? weekend paint days. When I discussed this, with Zackery, he was the same nightmare his companies work is. His response to me was "you have a contract & I will uphold you to that as a "BUSINESS MAN" should. Trying to locate him for mediation purposes? Had numerous addresses and several personal financial issues. Zackerys behavior about his clients is not favorable. Then he said $300 including materials. Then when he showed up he said it was $425 because he had to factor in the cost of driving to Home Depot. Then in the end it was $550 with tax! Over double the original quote. He also never showed up on the scheduled day so I had rebook. When he finally showed up on the rescheduled day he was a half hour late. Then he didn't even finish staining the door trim when he left. Oh, and he was messy and ended up getting wood filler residue on my door that now must be sanded off and restained. The baseboard job was fine. But the door trim repair was shoddy. That, coupled with poor communication and constantly increasing costs, makes me NOT recommend Giovanny.

Picture says a thousand words. I will leave you as the judge for the quality of work from Giovanni base on my photos. Detail: First thing I want to call out is the dishonest pricing. The initial estimate with $720-$800 for seven tasks. Then I was told there's $100 additional material fee. I didn't care, thought it's reasonable. Three tasks were "done" (omitting quality discussion here), he came back another day and ask me for another $400 ($150 for extra material and $250 for labor). I asked him to show me what he's purchased but he never show me the receipt. At the end we mutually agree to not do the last task and he will refund me $250. As of today, he still owe me $250 and it's impossible to get a hold of him now... Another call out is during the process I get tons of last minute delay and no-show. I get all sort of excuses: rain, previous job overran, phone broken. If your job is time critical, please be super careful. My final conclusion: If you have 1) very non-critical job that is 2) not urgent, and you 3) don't care much about quality and 4) have plenty of time to communicate, you can hire Giovanni for his somewhat low price.

They did not prime my house which leads to paint seeping through and chipping out in large portions. They did not paint straight lines around windows/door. They stuck a beer can in a mouse house then painted over it. They missed many areas and tried to collect payment 5 times without finishing to contract standards. They never tested paint on house to see if its lead. It seems like they just slapped paint on to get it done but not correctly. Painter told me I should get new siding after he was 80% done, WOW! I just paid 4500 to get my house painted. They even left in the middle to start another house. WORST feeling ever!!!
