I made an appointment and went to the Woodland Hills location. The whole thing took about an hour. They did an inspection, posted my car on their portal, and ran an online auction for 10 minutes where we watched a TV screen as about 50 dealers looked at my car. I got about 12 offers I think (10 is average) and I accepted the highest one. You don't have to; you could walk away if you wanted. But that offer was considerably higher than if I had sold my car to the dealership as a trade in. Maybe not as high as a private sale would have been because they are a middle man, but WAY less hassle. An hour versus weeks of fielding emails or phone calls, letting people test drive it only to be ghosted ... no thank you. They wrote me a check right there and I left my car. I had a friend pick me up. It was SO easy. I will definitely do this option again next time. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who handled everything; she was great!!
