Unlike some liquor stores Paradise is clean and neatly stocked to help you quickly find what you are looking for. The owner is knowledgeable about the products and helpful with making a recommendation. The spirits are competitively priced maybe slightly more than other stores but worth it for the convenience. There is free parking on both sides of the building or you can park on the street.

They don't offer anything surprising in terms of beer (classic lites, canadian beers, mexican beers, maybe heineken and stella artois, and your standard 40s). But they DO have a decent spirits selection, nothing rare or extraordinary, but well stocked with a good spread between high, middle, and low shelf brands of your standard boozes. For their grand opening, maybe a year ago, they put a giant kiddy-pool right in front of the entrance (on the inside), then filled it with ice and 40s. I'm glad they don't do that any more. You can almost always find a space right in front of the door on Vernor to park, and it's open until 2:30am every day. Plus the people who run it are super friendly and professional. I consider this my go-to "convenience" seller of spirits when I need to replace a bottle of whatever.

Inside is a long wall of liquor, a few large shelves of wine, and lot of shelves and coolers of beers. There is a also a large growler fill station with a number of high quality beers for the fill. The staff was nice, they let you form your own 6 packs and cases with a 10% discount over the price of singles. They have a lot of rarer beers. The only downside was that the rarer beers are more pricey than standard. For example, the Griffin Claw 2020 Chocolate and Almond was $29 for a 4, where when other places had it, it was 25. The liquor appeared to be at state minimum pricing.

What I liked about my visit was the customer service. That makes a difference for me because pricing is pretty much similar (either at State Minimum or a few bucks different). I asked several questions about various brands of cognac, vodka, and bourbon. The gentleman working was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. I will definitely go back for the service I received and the selection.
