One of my favorite liquor stores in the metro Detroit area. They have a great selection and are extremely friendly and helpful. They also sell the vast majority of their liquor at state minimum prices which is awesome. I love that they get a lot of extremely good store pick bourbons and actually know the nuances of what they are selling. Sometimes they even have samples available and will offer them to you. There are a lot of local stores where the owners and employees don't even drink alcohol. Sure, it's a personal choice but how can you be objective about the products you're selling if you've never even sampled them? I trust everything that this store recommends to me without question and I've never been disappointed. read more

You can find almost any kind of vodka, gin, whiskey, bourbon, rye, and everything in between. They also have a very impressive selection of wine, beers, hard seltzers, ciders, etc. Need to find a mixer? They have any type of flavor you can imagine and then some! Man oh man. I am so bummed because I used to travel 20 minutes just to come here for their selection, which is amazing. I will also say their customer service is typically on point but they severely dropped the ball today. I put my name down last week for an extremely limited released beer and they said they'd set a 4pk aside for me. I called today only to find they sold out. Apparently I was supposed to get a phone call when it came in but the girl never took my number. Just my name. I won't waste my time coming out here again. They are always so nice and friendly here. We came there last week some time and the guy behind the counter told me where to find what I was looking for. My husband was bummed out because they didn't carry any Jim Beam hot toddy. But it's okay because it's probably a seasonal liquor. We will definitely be back though to try out some different liquors. Just moved to the area and found this place looking for a few specific wines. The place is huge with an amazing wine selection, plus rows of liquor and beer. Best wine, beer and spirits selection I have ever seen. I have been on the hunt for a specific beer since February, and they have it! Schofferhoffer - It's a summer beer so stock up. It's hard to find. The guys are so helpful. They will run around the store, looking for anything you want and if they don't have it, they will order for you. Prices are great and the store is candyland for drinkers. :) Great for wine accessories, gifts, glasses, etc. Located just south Ford Rd, past Lifetime Fitness, on Haggerty Rd. Go here for all your alcohol needs. If they don't have it, they can try to get it. We love to shop here for ingredients for mixers, and to expand our palate of wines. The beer man at Super Fine Wine & Liquor is banking on a YES. I finally stopped in at this local shop out of curiosity, and I wanted beer. I wasn't expecting much. I took one look at the beer isle and could not believe I was standing only 0.5 miles from my home. I picked up a deuce of Southern Tier Imperial Mokah Stout, a deuce of Local 2 Ale from Brooklyn, NY and 3 for $5 PBR 24oz's. Incredible selection. Mix and match 6 packs for $10. The selection here rivals Main Street Party Store in Ann Arbor. Main Street Party Store is not a half a mile away from my house. Heaven? yes. Billy Joel would love this place. read more

I agree with most everybody on here that the selection of this mega-party store is enormous, there is no arguing that. But what I do have beef with is is the staff: I've never seen more than two people working this massive store, and you always have to seek out service if you need it. And it seems that they're knowledge of the products they sells goes about as far as where to find it on the shelf. I highly doubt if anybody there would be able to tell me the difference between a dubbel and a tripel. I know a bunch of beer nerds. After the 3rd one told me that I needed to check this place out, I headed out. They were right. The place is enormous and they have a fantastic beer selection. They easily have twice the selection as Holiday Market. They also allow you to mix and match bottles to make your own six pack. This is a great way to try a bunch of different beers with some friends. The prices aren't the best in the world, but they're not unreasonable. As I said at the beginning, I'm a beer nerd and that's what I focused the review on. The quantity of wines and liquors seemed very good though. Wine and liquor nerds should check it out and report back on the quality of the selection. They've only been open for a little while, but I hope Canton treats them right. read more

If you've read my other beer/liquor store reviews, then you know about my mission to find single bottled beer selections. I have heard about Super Fine from a couple of people, and they sing their praises. It's not close to home or even on my way, but it's not to far from work. My current mission inspired me to make my first trip. Needless to say, Super Fine is super fine! I was in awe. Super Fine has 3 beer coolers that you can mix & match for $9.99. There is a 4th beer cooler that is $11.99. It wasn't an easy decision, but I made 2 six packs. Super Fine has the 2nd largest single beer selection (the biggest so far is Wine Village in Warren). They have the largest selection in coolers though. Most of the stores I have visited so far have the beer displayed on shelves, not in coolers. I've read other reviews that say their prices are a little high. At least for the single bottles/build-your-own 6pk, I think they are about the same as others. The most impressive beer selection are the imports. An entire row is dedicated to these wacky beers. I don't even know where to begin with all that! For now, this is beyond my current journey with beer. Maybe one day, I will try some of them when I understand what they are! It appears that they have a great selection of liquor & wine too. I didn't look too much because I was too busy with the beer. I was entertained by the smartphone flask though. This is the place to go for all of your boozy needs! Yes, huge selection of wine but difficult to navigate some of the shelves. I was using the lil region/ varietal signs to help me but the Rieslings were mixed in with random placed pinot grigio and Chardonnay. Some countries over lapped...Limited in some options, but also had some labels that other wine merchants don't have. I'm always looking for a new brand- blend :) Service didn't stand out- they weren't as gregarious and engaging as other places, but they weren't rude or offensive either. I wish local wine merchants would shelve by type and arrange those then on shelves by location ie: all the pinot Grigio in one spot and by region on shelves with labels on the shelves. I only know of a few wine merchants who do this - I will return to try some of this unique labels. read more
