We ordered the Yolk O' Oh No sandwich and the Marco Pollo grilled sandwich and both were perfectly toasted, flavorful, and absolutely did not disappoint. I would happily eat either again without hesitation. Drinks: * 10 oz iced vanilla latte -- creamy, smooth, and made with quality-tasting beans. No complaints here. * 10 oz cappuccino (oat milk) -- tasty... but visually alarming. When the cappuccino arrived, it looked like it had been on a diet. A very strict one. I genuinely thought there had been a pouring mistake, so I politely asked at the counter. The response? "Yes, that's correct--it's supposed to be about 1 1/2 inches from the top." Reader, it was not 1 1/2 inches. It was more like "emotionally distant from the rim." I even slid the cup closer, hoping maybe perspective was playing tricks on me. Nope. Same answer. Same empty real estate at the top of the cup. Now, I understand cappuccinos aren't filled to the brim. I respect foam science. I honor espresso traditions. But this was bordering on half-cup energy at a full-cup price point. Photo included so you folks can be the judge

Smells like fresh coffee the moment you walk in. Easy, fast vibe. No WiFi and hard wooden benches, so this place is your drive-thru without a drive thru, grab and go coffee joint. Ordered the usual: decaf flat white with heavy cream. They take your name (and probably a clothing description) but walk your drink directly to you. Kind of a neat touch there. Strong bitter coffee, more foam than I'd prefer (more latte than flat white). Temp is just right for being able to drink it down quickly. The "H+H" scribed on the lids has us both curious/concerned that it might be half and half vs heavy cream. Ehn. Not in our top five; wouldn't be worth a repeat when there are other untapped opportunities in the DFW area.

Such a great find in Dallas!! Staff is really friendly and accommodating, [[HIGHLIGHT]]parking was easy, and plenty of indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered an iced oat milk latte and you have the choice of adding an extra shot and syrup to your latte for no additional charge. Our latte came out the perfect color! Being from California, prices here were extremely reasonable and both the espresso and drip coffee were delicious. A great, quick pick me up in the city!

Cute little coffee shop with a hometown feel. We were greeted as soon as we stepped our feet in the door. Love that! We were asked what we're in the mood for and given suggestions. I already knew that I wanted to try the coffee cake which I'd heard about from another review. When I mentioned that, he said ohhh yeahhh good choice. He also asked if I wanted it toasted and buttered....mmmm yes I do!! You're given a number and you can find a seat while they work on your order. They have books and items for sell that you can browse while waiting. There's also outdoor seating if you prefer to sit outside. Nice place with great service and I'd definitely visit again!

Seem like a decent place....but they have NO sugar free syrups. This sucks because I am diabetic and I can't have sugar. I love a sugar free vanilla latte, but they don't offer it. It is very odd to me they don't have some sugar free options with all of the people doing low carb, keto, no sugar, diabetics, etc. All coffee supply places sell sugar free syrups in a ton if different flavors. It shouldn't be hard to add them. Guess I have to go back to Starbucks for my sugar free vanilla latte :( read more

I love this place. It's owned by Aussies who have come to America to share their love of coffee with us. They are coffee angels from down under delivering us caffeine from the kangaroo gods. I'll take two please. Not only is the coffee good, the sandwiches are killer. The pumpkin is the best veggie sandwich I've ever had and it's a regular weekend indulgence for me. The design of the shop is spot on. Modern, sleek, minimal- it has just the right vibe. I am jealous of anyone who lives in walking distance. But also their prices are dirt cheap- $10 for coffee AND sandwich, what?? If I lived in walking distance, I would be there everyday for breakfast. It's a perfect spot to meet up with friends, work on a paper, get some inspiration for your next blog post. Check out the little books scattered around the tables too. There's one called something like My Cat is an Asshole. It's my favorite. read more

I am so glad I happened to choose this place for having a nice cup of coffee whilst in the nearby area. They serve one of the best coffees in Dallas. The coffee is strong and just the way I love it. Apart from the coffee I loved the vibe of the cafe, owners are very friendly and so is the staff. They don't provide WiFi on weekends thus making sure we socialize and get away from the digital world:) I highly recommend this cafe for all the coffee lovers. And they have amazzzing toasted lemon cake ! read more

Easily the best coffee I've ever had. I drink Starbucks allllll the time Bc I'm constantly on the go. Came in here and didn't realize how great coffee can be. Can I say world class? I just did. 100/10. Even the presentation with the coffee cup and saucer gives you an elegant but not pretentious feeling. I'd pay rent here if I could. read more

I've only been able to swing by this coffee shop a few times in the morning since it is a bit out of the way compared to where I need to work at. It's also only open in the morning and afternoon hours so I could never come here to get some work in the evening hours. It is located in one of the business spaces within the apartment complex on the first floor. Parking may be an issue if you want to stay for long period of times, but there should be street parking that will let you stay for longer duration periods. The parking in front is meant for individuals who want to grab and go a cup of coffee. Overall, very friendly service. The inside has a very modern, industrial feel with opening ceiling concept and open bar to see the workers make the orders, but there are natural wood accents to make it an inviting space. The owners are from Australia and you can hear their accents. Both their Magicman, Latte, and Flat White were all great. None of their drinks had any bitter notes to the taste. What I really like is you have the option to add vanilla syrup at no extra charge. read more

This is my favorite mocha in town. Good people serving good coffee. No fancy theme or gimmick, but some tasty sandwiches and treats. Not ideal if you want to just come and take up Wi-Fi space, but aficionados should give this down under coffee a try. read more

The owners are from Australia (Land Down Under = LDU) and are great dudes. They just make awesome coffee. Don't come here if you're pressed for time, but if you're looking for the right ambiance and quality, it's hard to beat. read more

Slightly more limited menu than most coffee shops, but hey, that's ok if you're going to make a spectacular cup of coffee. I was recommended the "Magicman" if I wanted a strong coffee but couldn't forego my milk habit and the boy, the magicman worked his magic. The coffee was bold, strong and delicious. Highly excited to return and try the flat white. read more

My favorite coffee shop in Dallas because of the atmosphere and the coffee. I know little about coffee, but I do know what I like. There's a couple other places that are comparable in flavor to LDU, but they're still the best. Get the almond milk latte...it's really smooth and not too toasty. As for the atmosphere...it's remarkable how friendly and social everyone is. If you feel like chatting, grab one of the high tables, giant table (with stools) or just sit near the entrance on the bench. If you just want to get some good work done, sit on the back tables. If you're in a rush, park right in front in the temporary parking spaces...there's always a few open. Cheers! read more

Literally one of the best shops I have ever been to. Walked in and was greeted immediately by the crew. Ben was super friendly and helped me order a ice vanilla latte with oat milk (which is my go to). Coupled that with great natural light from all the widows in the shop, good music, and great coffee. This place is easily one of my go to's from now on for sure read more

An outstanding coffee shop with multiple milk/milk alternatives and preparation options. I had a strong latte with oat milk that was perfect. My fiancée had an iced coffee. As an infrequent coffee drinker, she needed it slightly sweeter than was originally served, but she was very happy with an extra dash of simple syrup. An exceptional coffee shop find. read more

Their coffee and food is amazing and their staff is unbelievably kind, generous, and warm. I love this place. The Owners/Barista's are so friendly and really make an effort to make their customers feel welcomed. Their flat white it my favorite coffee drink in Dallas. They do it better than anyone else. It's a short simple menu but everything they do is fabulous. The lemon coconut bar is delicious. You can taste the fresh bananas in the banana bread. Their veg sandwich was unexpectedly AWESOME! If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out this spot! read more

Had a wonderful experience. I'm a pretty big coffee snob, but I was blow away with flavor of the cappuccino I had here. The taste, texture, mouthfeel, presentation... It was an A++ cappuccino. On a whim I ordered a sandwich I think was called the Maverick. Again delicious and very satisfying. Other cool points are the unique selection of books you can flip through while there and they had a wonderful selection of old blues/jazz music playing in the background instead of the insipid type of music you'd normally get at that other place. Generally I'd throw on a podcast and browse twitter, but here I was able to just enjoy the atmosphere and read an entertaining book. The chap taking my order and serving was very warm and friendly as well. Seemed like a really good dude. Only suggestion I'd give to them is maybe add a little sounds baffling...it was a touch echoey with the crowd noise read more

Breaking it down into the pros and cons: Pros: + Strong, tasty espresso drinks + Very fast service + NATURAL LIGHT + Australian accents and surfer dude types carrying them + Some sort of seating is always open + Parking is never a concern + Mixed professional crowd to people watch + Free, fast Wi-Fi + Delicious, warm, buttery banana bread Cons: - Not a ton of outlets, but I've read that that's the sort of vibe they're going for here. I live around the corner and have been wanting to check this place out. I love the minimalist feel of the place. It is in stark contrast to the Starbucks feel. It's very Euro and cool with a hint of personality - they have a Macho Man figurine! The servers are very nice and welcoming. Didn't try the food this time but will be coming back. I like this place better than Houndstooth. Wish they had longer hours. New neighborhood coffee spot! read more

Wow! I have been having trouble finding a truly great coffee shop in Dallas and now I have finally found it! The interior is beautiful and modern, the baristas were SO nice (they often went around and filled up water cups for the customers), and the coffee was really delicious! I ordered a cappuccino and it was very smooth and not too bitter. I could tell it was great espresso pour with great latte art! Overall, I will definitely go back to LDU for their coffee, great atmosphere, and really cool baristas! read more

LDU coffee is just what this area needed! Lots of parking (major), incredible coffee && even more incredible owners/employees! Since it's an Australian based coffee shop I went with the Flat White (added an extra shot of espresso)---hands down one of the best FW's I've ever had! Great place to study/work from your laptop or to simply catch up with a friend! The design is ultra chic, minimalist vibes all day long. Planning on becoming a regular! read more

This a bold statement, but I'm not afraid to make it. This is THE BEST coffee in Dallas, and posssibly/probably the world! It's a medium roast, organic, single origin (Mexico) bean that is consistently extracted with at an absurd level of deliciousness. read more

This is an old renovated 2 story house with a good amount of seating inside and out and even an upstairs area. Inside is bright and cheerful, and colorful of course. Inside you will find booklets on the LGBT community, and an explanation of all the flags right at the register, anong other things. They have good artwork here too and lots of things to just look at on the walls. I tried the creme brulee iced latte. While it wasn't super strong or sweet, i thought it was just the right amount of flavoring. I will definitely stop by here again the next time I am in town.

My drink was beautiful and delicious. Highly recommend! I also thought that the decor was very clean, modern and comfy.

The trash cans were overflowing and the floor was very visibly dirty, with a few napkins and receipts also on the floor. We were there for at least 40 minutes. I never saw anyone even wipe down a table. It was busy at times, but there were also slow times and the staff just stood behind the counter and talked with each other. I'm hoping it was just an off day and it's cleaner when you visit.

I'm delighted to call this cafe my go-to spot for a refreshing cold brew on my days off from the cafe I work at. Their "Space Cowboy" cold brew is my secret weapon for a much-needed energy boost.
