This coffee is amazing! I visited with a friend from Australia in search of an authentic flat white, and they did not disappoint. It's the best flat white I've had outside of Sydney and tastes just as amazing as the ones there, and my friend confirmed my opinion. Good parking, good price (two of us got drinks for $7), nice atmosphere, and great bathrooms. It's a great place to have a cup of coffee with friends or get some work done. I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves recognition. LDU is far and away the best coffee shop in the neighborhood...and there are many. Quality coffee and relatively inexpensive as well. I appreciate that their system doesn't request a tip like every other place. They don't even allow a tip. I really do love this little coffee shop. Fortunately? they are very convenient to my office. I've been here several times and wanted to see if they were consistent before writing my review. I am no coffee snob, but they do not disappoint! I usually order an almond latte, or the chai latte and it's just super smooth each time. I haven't found this type of consistency in Dallas in a long time. Happy me. The spot is owned by a couple of aussies who warmly greet you upon entering and hand deliver your cup while you wait - no loud shouting orders when ready here. It's also popular for those work from home folks because I've seen a few in here every time I've been. It says a lot! Atmosphere is open concept, mid-level noise, and minimalist vibe. They also serve snacks and sandwiches (toasts). I've had the pumpkin loaf which I damn near left one time, and they were kind enough to chase after me(hadn't sipped my coffee yet..).
