Talk about a happy accident! We were walking around the streets of Paris and I thought I stumbled on the random fish market in the middle of nowhere. It was actually a restaurant and what I thought was the fish market was the outdoor raw bar! It was a little fancy with tablecloths! The olive oil was in a perfume bottle. I opted for the 3-course lunch. Fish Soup - rich and warm on a rainy Parisian day Mussels & fries - tender enough to feed 6 people!!! Creme brûlée's and coffee with mini cookies - perfect way to end the meal. I had 2 glasses of Sancerre with lunch. It was a perfect accidental lunch on a rainy day! Tourist tip Seats at bar, dinning room or outdoor smoking section English is spoken here!

I really don't understand why this place has such a low rating. My boyfriend and I found it to be our favorite restaurant out of our entire trip to Paris. The very first thing you notice when you get there is the awesome display of fresh seafood that they have right outside. I really thought that was a nice touch. We went on a busy Saturday evening and were seated immediately. The waiter that we had was so friendly and funny, even though he barely spoke English and we don't speak any French. The wine that he suggested to us was amazing and paired perfectly with our appetizer and entrees. To start off with, we ordered the mussels in cream sauce. No exaggeration, there had to be about 100 mussels in the dish that he gave us. It was amazing and by the time we finished we were almost too full to eat our entrees. I ordered the scallop and prawn skewers and by boyfriend ordered the special of the night which was tuna. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had an overall amazing experience here. I guess most of the negative reviews come from having bad service but the food here should totally make up for that because it really is that good. I would encourage anyone who is in Paris and has a craving for seafood to try it out!

Ok We saw the display, saw the towers and they managed to sit 8 of us in the late afternoon after a busy day out and about. There was a little sticker shock on the towers but in hindsight we read the prices incorrectly. They are priced based on the variety on your tower. We had the Seabass in Sangria sauce, the scallops/prawn skewers, the calamari and chorizo, the Cesar salad and a tower. We enjoyed everything. The waiters were friendly. The service was good.

Unfortunately I can't say much about the food as the service was just about the worst we'd received in paris. We were ushered to a table in the corner, not outside as we asked, given an iPad menu (why? It wasn't impressive, the case was tatty and it was an old/heavy model) and ignored for 10 minutes, no water, no bread, no check up. After that we decided there are better ways to spend a sunny day in paris

We came across this place and had to have lunch there. There is a huge area outside where they display the shell fish. It will make you want to go in. They have these amazing platters. We decided to do the Parisian lunch. It is a starter an entree, desert and coffee. Overall good meal. I think we each had one course that wasn't our favorite but that was our taste and not the food. The service was wonderful. Servers all spoke English and were friendly. If back in the area we would go here again. Next time I am ordering one of those platters. Bathrooms clean.

Loved it. Some bad reviews almost scared us away but dinner for 8 was wonderful. Even the non seafood lover had a great steak. Wines were also very good. It was a wonderful ending to our two weeks in France. I'd post a picture but we ate everything.

I settled on the Hal's crab and hubby had the Langoustine Ravioli, which was supposed to be a sharing size. The crab was cold but visually pleasing. There was not much seasoning so the mayo dipping sauce made for a bland tasting dish for me. Hubby enjoyed his Ravioli but the three small pieces did not really seem like a sharing size. Overall nice Paris experience but I definitely left there and ordered some takeout to fill in my empty space.

We ordered the seafood tower (whole stone crab, langostine, 6 oysters (3 local varieties), tiny fried shrimp in a cup, ten or so whelks. We also had the shrimp roll, a delectable sea bass ceviche, a bowl of tiny mussels in curry broth that was just SO delicious and a whole pan fried sea bream atop a thin cushion of pea purée and topped with red cabbage & carrot. Everything was superb and our server was swift and smiling throughout the evening. The restaurant itself is small & charming with a simple rustic feel. We felt it was undiscovered but it's likely it was just a slow night on a drizzly evening. I'd certainly recommend a visit!

Just finished a long bike ride to the Eiffel Tower and worked up an appetite. Decided to go straight to the main course. They are known for Au Gratins. My son is not a cheese fan so he opted for the norvigene (smoked salmon in dill lemon and EVOO. I decided to stick with the house specialty; Landais Au Gratin (cream potatoes, duck breast and emmental cheese). The 2 German girls beside me ordered a cider with both their meals so I followed their lead. When in Paris...... Considering the temperature, I almost second-guess myself and ordered something other than their house specialty of au gratin potatoes. In the end, I was very glad I overruled that thought. Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival. Not that five minutes is a long time to wait, but it was still worth the wait as good as the food tasted. We both enjoyed our meals.

Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. Arrived with bread, but it DEFINITELY could use other carb options to sop it all up (e.g., rice???)! = Landais - Cheese gratin with duck. Same comment as the above, except the Landais had egg and goat cheese also mixed in with almost the same ingredients as the Fermier. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + The lone waitress, who also worked the role as greeter, cashier and bartender was friendly. + Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ = Small, tight restaurant. = Not many tables inside - 6 in total. + Located a few blocks away from the more touristy restaurants, towards the East, on a much quieter street. Shortly after the tour I sent him a WhatsApp message asking again what the name of that recommended spot was, then made my way there. I didn't ask a whole lot of Huguette at lunchtime and, since I didn't focus on fresh seafood I possibly didn't get the best of their offerings. Drinks, French Onion Soup, and Fish & Chips were all that I sampled in this casual bistro and though perfectly fine, this meal was easily forgettable if not for the huge, apron-clad polar bear out front welcoming guests to Huguette. Nothing about my experience here would dissuade me from returning for more drinks and - because it appears a specialty - some fresh oysters. On the flip side though, nothing I sampled would cause me to run right back. From what I tried, it was difficult to understand why my guide had recommended Huguette at all. Good enough, but I do imagine there's better meals to be enjoyed in the area.
