I've been a customer of this salon for quite some time, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I called ahead for an appointment and was told my usual technician was away on a two-month vacation. When I arrived, I was assigned to someone new who appeared inexperienced. During my gel polish removal, she struggled to operate the e-file and repeatedly hit my cuticles. She nicked my toe badly enough that it started bleeding significantly and left me with an open wound. Instead of feeling relaxed and cared for, I left in pain and concerned about infection. I understand that everyone has to learn, but customers should be informed if they are being assigned to a trainee or someone who is not yet fully proficient. After years of being a loyal customer, I expected better communication and a higher standard of care. read more

I don't understand why they all don't have all 5's. All their staff is A+ quality. I have been going to them for over 2 years and I've been to over 25 different places around Fairfax. Every single staff is amazing. Design and kawaii nails is my forte and they do it so well. Also you do need an apt. These girls are booked and they have clients because they are amazing ! Got a basic mani-pedi. Tech was fantastic and she did a great job. Salon is modern and very clean. I will be back.

I've gotten my nails done here by Jimin three times now and love her precision and speed. I've gotten a gel manicure (with chrome) every time and she's done a phenomenal job every time. Her appointments fill up really fast, and I often have to book 4-5 weeks in advance. Le Bijou is a 25-30 minute drive from where I live, but I'm happy to make the trek out here to get my nails done by Jimin because they use high quality polishes and take care of my nails well. The second time I got my nails done by Jimin was on July 16 and I returned six weeks later and there were no chips in any of the polish and it still looked nice (except really outgrown, lol). This normally doesn't happen and I'm impressed with how long the polish stays on my nails! I'd definitely recommend booking your next nail appointment with Jimin -- but make sure to do it far in advance, haha. read more

The location is easy to navigate and there is plenty of parking! It's best to book an appointment to be serviced. These ladies take their time to ensure a thorough spa like experience. My feet and hands love them! There are soooo many colors to choose from so I always have assistance to make a selection that day! I get overwhelmed: it never fails, I get a ton Of compliments on my manicure and the gorgeous colors! Laura is my creative technician. She's highly skilled with her free form designs and sparkles!! I'm pretty plain Jane but she inspires me to try some fun new every time I see her nails! I'm traditionally a red/ox blood color wearer but I've tried some really pretty colors and they have cool application techniques that leave my nails leashing 3-4 without peeling or chipping! My naturals continue to grow healthy and strong! That is very important to me! I highly recommend this salon. Oh and Sondes former Red Door esthetician is operating her as well. What can I say about this place.... But to say that I Love everything about it. Clean, professional and top notch quality products that can't be better. Every woman has and had experienced a bad/poor quality service from the nail salon.. but, this place is always the same service no matter what. I mostly love that all of their filing products are one time use for sanitary reasons and all of the tools are properly disinfected. Never use the same tools used on different customer so I always feel good knowing it's clean. Le Bijou Nail Lounge is a small salon that was opened by a post Red Door alum nail specialist, Casey Kim. I found out about Le Bijou because my eyebrow specialist, Sondes, joined this new salon after Red Door closed. It's a bit hard to find - I definitely missed the turn the first time I went - but once you arrive, you feel completely relaxed and at home. The place - it's new - is bright, airy, and sparkling clean. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into the design of the salon - lots of white and navy blue tones. I haven't had the nail services, so I can't comment on those, but it's great to be back in Sondes' care for my eyebrows, and it's lovely to see that these two ladies landed on their feet and opened this lovely salon post-Red Door closure. I am glad to continue to support them and if you need exceptional eyebrow services (I do waxing and tinting) go see Sondes! read more

I always go to Laura (Gunah) to get my nails done and she can do any designs you want. Also, the staff is very friendly, and I like how the file is one time use only and tools are disinfected between customers. Love getting my nails done by Jimin. I'm never disappointed with my gel manicure. The salon is clean and everyone is friendly. They have a large selection of gel polish that is constantly updated (they have a lot of new and trendy gel polishes from Korea). Highly recommend. Had an incredible pedicure with Julie today. It was one of the best pedicures I've ever had. Julie communicated well with me on my preferences and asked for feedback along the way. She was professional, gentle, detailed, careful, and my pedicure looks great! A pretty location, Le Bijou has plenty of natural sunlight washing into the spa, and their hospitality makes you feel so good. Julie opened the door for me on the way out.. this is what family does when you visit. So kind & compassionate! This place is a gem. My partner arranged a spa day for my Birthday with my Best friend and chose this place. I haven't stopped thinking about how much I loved it, and decided to write a review for the business. The facial was amazing! I had never had one, and once complete, I felt amazing. My skin felt so good, it looked so much healthier and vibrant and just hydrated. I keep thinking why have I never done this!? My skin still feels absolutely wonderful. We swapped places, and she had the same feelings toward her facial. The pedi, was likely the best pedi I have ever gotten. The time and attention that was placed on my feet was incredible. We, at no point felt like people on a production line. Rushed in, rushed out for the next customer. We sat there comfortably and really got to enjoy the day. We will be back, we are already planning a spa day for my daughter's 18th Birthday with facials! If a zero star was an option, I would definitely rate it as the worst customer service ever!!! I have been going to this place for facials and waxing for the longest time and thought I would try their nail service. Let me tell you, worse customer service ever. I arrived at my appointment at 10; I walked in and informed the lady about my appointment. She said she did not see my name in the system. Keep in mind that I confirmed the appointment a week in advance on the phone and through the text message they sent. I showed her my confirmation text, and it says I have an appt at 10. She later called her boss, and her boss restated what the other lady said . Both ladies were rude and unapologetic and made me feel like I was lying. The worst part is they didn't even come up with a solution. They were staring at me and waiting for me to leave. They did not ask to reschedule the appointment( they are biased). I drove about 35 mins for this, and the fact that they were inconsiderate shows that they could care less about their customers. Please save your money and time and find somewhere that value their customers. read more
