I absolutely love Blooming Nails! I really appreciate that they use non-toxic, organic products because it shows that they genuinely care about the health of their customers' nails, not just how they look. Everyone there is so kind, attentive, and helpful. They really listen to what you want, and the designs always come out beautiful. Whenever I bring in an inspiration picture, they actually recreate it the way I asked. I've been to so many salons where you show them a photo, but the finished nails look nothing like it. That has never been an issue here. I've seen a few comments about the price, but honestly, you get what you pay for. My nails always last a long time without chipping or losing gem stones. Between the high quality products, amazing customer service, and consistently beautiful results, I really think it's worth the price.

After my first visit, I knew I was in trouble because I was hooked. I hadn't gotten my nails done in years and the experience and results were amazing. They have the warmest staff and a peaceful vibe. I got one of the summer designs by Judy and it truly is a work of art. It's a trip I look forward to every month and I cannot recommend Blooming Nails enough!

I got the cutest TWICE themed Valentine's Day nail here! They're a new nail salon - offering manicures, pedicures, and lashes. They only use eco-friendly, non-toxic, vegan, HEMA-free, TPO-free products, and they have a beautiful selection of nail colors. The interior was clean and nicely decorated with flowers, and it's spacious. I love my nails so much, so I'd definitely recommend trying this spot out!

Can't say enough good things about Salon Simis! Walid is incredibly talented at cuts and color and…read moreI leave feeling so pretty and fresh after getting my hair done. Everyone there is kind and so skilled at their craft.

I've been testing out new salons since moving here with the hope of finding one I really like that…read morealso doesn't break the bank, and had high hopes for this one based on the reviews. I only ever do simple cuts, nothing fancy. My haircut, done by Anderson (a level 3 stylist), is objectively good. The skill was there. But it's definitely shorter than I wanted it. Went in for a lob, came out with an asymmetrical bob...Honestly I was panicking while he was drying it because it was starting to look like Lord Farquaad from Shrek. I asked if he could style it like in the reference pictures I showed (simple waves, to reduce Farquaad-ness). He tried to do it with the brush/dryer, which obviously wasn't working, and didn't want to use a flatiron. So I just suffered through scalding heat on my scalp and hair pulling. I got told I don't have curly hair. I got told I don't have frizzy hair. I, in fact, have both of those. Some other minor things: 1. When I got home I had some hair that was noticeably longer than the rest, like it never got cut. So...I had to do it. Just a few strands, but normally stylists check for that when your hair is dry. 2. I almost never use heat on my hair, so I asked for recs and mentioned a specific brand doesn't work for me. He immediately said he loves that brand. I said yeah...but it doesn't work for me. Anything else? "Any salon brand." Cool. Not helpful. 3. Asked for something at the end to tame the pieces that were sticking out (again, I have frizzy hair). He looked...confused? Smoothing as a last step has been standard at every other place I've been to. There is nothing in the whole salon like that? Also, my introvert-self just wants to go somewhere where I don't have to be engaged in conversation the whole time. Anyway. Won't go back, my hunt continues.
