Le Bustiere Boutique in Bethesda is nestled in between an alley and another store, but the inside 100% gives the vibe of boutique versus strip mall. They hung a few bras on the wall and then their dressing room is tucked away in the back with an adorable mural of different breasts with an affirmative saying in neon pink lighting. I use a special calculator (a bra that fits) to help determine my size and when I went Stephanie measured me exactly to that measurement. I was shocked because that never happens and it really helped me feel even more confident about my purchase. I was able to get my strapless bra and a new everyday t shirt bra. It's a French brand and I haven't ever had something feel like it's not there when I wear it. 10/10 really like this place and will be back without a doubt. I will never forget my experience at Le Bustieere Boutique. Now, I'm a pretty bashful, modest woman. Frankly, I've never bought or worn lingerie, but my friend encouraged me to give it a try and so, we found this shop online. Looking up at the shop's little window, I was already excited/nervous from the cute decor. We get in there, and the shop owner is already helping two other girls, but she welcomes us in warmly and seats us. She bounces back and forth between the other girls, my friend and I, but never for a moment did I feel neglected. Again, I'm a pretty bashful lady. She took this into account, and recommended some gorgeous pieces. I was hooked by the very first one I put on! It fit perfectly, and made me feel something...something that I have never felt before. I guess you could say I was feeling myself. She also helped my friend to find a teddy that was just perfect, and made her feel so cute. The conversation was so reassuring and natural, no pressure at all, and we both left with broad smiles and our goodies. This is my new lingerie shop of choice(because now I always want to wear it!) and my friend and I will be back soon to find something cute. This place is amazing! I wish I could tell every woman I pass on the street to go into Le Bustiere. The shop is adorable and their selection of lingerie -- bras, panties, corsets, bodysuits, robes, bathing suits -- is ah-maz-ing. Stephanie is truly an expert in her field and was a delight to spend an hour with. Not only did she tell me what was wrong with the bra I came in wearing, but she taught me how to put my bra on correctly, picked out fun and sexy options for me and even had me try on a bodysuit! As a 34G woman, this is not my first experience at a fancy lingerie store. But unlike other stores, I felt like I actually learned something at Le Bustiere and was way more confident walking out there than when I walked in. The bras are expensive (as all good bras are) but sooooo worth the money for how high quality and beautiful they are, and how amazing they made me feel. Love this store!! I stumbled upon it when having brunch in Adams Morgan, and so glad I did. Le Bustiere has such a great selection of lingerie, from affordable sexy things to high end chic sets and loungewear. Stephanie the owner was very welcoming and helpful. She measured me, brought a selection of styles for me to try. I ended up buying a Cosabella lace bra, so sexy and comfortable, and I also bought a beautiful french chemise. There were some empty shelves, however, I was told the store opened only recently so it will probably fill out in the next month. Stephanie was AMAZING and I left with three new bras and a lot more confidence. I had been wearing the wrong size and knew that, but she was so kind and helpful in finding my new size and showing me how to adjust so everything was comfortable and fit well. I was more than polite and open to options even though i did not like anything up until this point but it was so unacceptable how she spoke to me. I nicely expressed over and over that I did not like options she was and it was as if she could not accept that my style is not the same as hers. Insulting what I had chosen from other places was over the line.

TL;DR: Not going back…read more I'd noticed this store years ago, but since it seemed to only sell underwear, I never went it. Finally, though, when I saw a sign outside mentioning Cut Loose, one of my favorite brands of clothing, I stopped in. The front of the store holds tops and the back of the store has a rack of jeans -- one brand I like is featured there (NYDJ). The rest of the store has underwear and pajamas. I have found at least one item at this store that I wear a lot -- a pair of NYDJ jeans. I prefer it when no one helps me, when I can look through the store on my own and decide if I like something or not. However, usually either the owner helps me or her associate does. Once I had both helping me when I was trying on bras. They also grabbed a bunch of tops for me to try on and exclaimed how wonderful they all looked on me. I ended up buying a number of tops, plus the bra that day. At one point during my fitting, one of the woman suggested I exercise. I'd never had anyone tell me that (except doctors and my kids and husband). I was offended, but still purchased the items. Of the items I bought that day, the only thing I've worn much is the bra. I keep trying on one item, but it just is not me. The others, well, I have worn them once or twice, but they are not me either. I've continued to go to the store, sometimes buying items, usually not. The most recent visit was my last though. I'd been to lunch with a friend, and parked in the parking lot where this store is located. I figured I had some time left on my parking stub, so went to check out what was on sale. The owner was there and asked if I'd shopped there before -- I was masked, so I understand that she didn't recognize me, but when I dropped my mask, she still didn't. That's okay. She asked my size, and pointed me to what she called cute tops in the front. I found nothing cute, in fact everything was pretty tacky in my opinion. I mentioned that the jeans I were wearing (same brand as they carry) were size 4. She told me they were too long. I countered that I liked my pants long and she argued if they were shorter they could be rolled up to become capris.

I found Bridals by Natalie and decided to go in persona for an appointment. I was the only client they had booked for that hour so they were able to put all their energy and focus towards me. I felt very attended to. I also didn't feel judged by them for getting a wedding dress with only a few months left. They asked me what I wanted, and I told them, but they also had me try on many different styles which were all so beautiful, elegant styles. I found a dress that I adored, but it needed some alterations. The bust area was just showing too much. I asked them if they thought they could add more to the dress to cover it up. They said they could definitely make it work. After a few more consultations, we arrived at the final dress. We added sleeves with some extra material they had left in the store and the seamstress beautifully covered the front of the dress. It was so professionally done that it didn't even look like there were extra pieces added to the dress. I am so in love with the dress that I wore and I want to keep it forever. I am so grateful to the ladies at Bridals by Natalie for going above and beyond to make me look stunning on my wedding day. I will never forget your kindness and graciousness towards me.
