She was polite, caring, and well-versed in all things boobs and bras! I think I found a winner! 5 stars? Perhaps a 1000! The first time I saw the ad for cherry blossom intimates was on Instagram. Ok I tagged it but a girl has been shopping at Victoria secret for years. I wasn't sure if I wanted to look into another store. Atleast I thought I wasn't ready for a change..... but guess what my curiosity got the best of me. You know the saying. Don't fix it if it's not broken. Did I listen? NOPE!!! For once I'm extremely happy I didn't. This store was the ultimate one on one experience. The sanitizing protocols made me feel very comfortable. If you're a girl like me who has/ had constant issues with being in between bra sizes this is a store for you. My experience in detail: -I walked in the store, was greeted by the lovely Aiesha. -Temperature check and sanitizer as a requirement -Aiesha quoted me at a 15-20 min wait for a sanitized room (ok fine let's check out a restaurant shall we) -my daughter and I decided to show up exactly in 20 min -I immediately grabbed an item to try on. Sanitized station along with some history of the owner and store. The owner is a doctor Ok... just fabulous -I was measured! And guess what my bra actually fits perfectly! I have been dying to get to Cherry Blossom Intimates, so I decided to stop in one evening during the week. I was greeted by Dee, who gave me hand sanitizer and a temperature check before allowing me to begin browsing. I also met Ms. Gayle who gave me a tour and the history of this beautiful intimates store. They offer bra fittings (by appointment) and a variety of beautiful lingerie and basic undies for any occasion. They offer many different sizes to fit all shapes. I purchased my skin tone colored undies, which is a RARE find, and I couldn't be more pleased! No more shopping at VS for me! So my Sista Friend scheduled us for a bra fitting session because we were tired of bras that did not fit. One boob in, one boob out, overflow on side...whoo chile the gals been screaming... So Ms Shantel is very knowledgeable of the needs of the droopy and swoopy, biggie vs teeny... The atmosphere was so intimate that you felt very safe and comfortable. So i was measured and to my surprise i was wearing the right bra size. It's just the the type of bra that can set me up for failure, slippage.. My sista friend was off and she was so surprised. Absolutely loved my experience here!! I booked an hour long bra fitting appointment...and Ms. Aiesha did not disappoint! She gave us a full tour of the boutique as well as went over the history about the business..which was largely created with post surgical patients in mind. Patients who have undergone mastectomies (breast removal typically due to cancer) can come to this shop and get fitted for prosthetics. Additionally, any woman can come to this cute boutique to shop for bras, underwear, and lingerie...they also sell gentle soap for cleaning your garments, bronzers, lip gloss, nude colored panty/pantyhose for every shade (hallelujah!), nipple covers for every shade, and a few other miscellaneous items. My appointment was perfection! Ms Aiesha took her time and explained the pros and cons of certain styles and cuts of bras. I was measured, and given different bras to test and try. BTW, Each bra is steamed cleaned and disinfected after its been tried on. There's also matching underwear, and various colors of bras that can be ordered from a catalog if not available in store. Cherry Blossom Intimates is a clean, colorful, quaint shop that I look forward to patronizing in the future. These bras are not cheap, but the quality is impeccable and a great investment!! Why does Cherry Blossom Intimates not have a phone number on their website? I tried to make an appointment but was not able to confirm because I needed to ask a question. Couldn't ask the question because there is no phone number. Decided to ride to 12150 Annapolis Road, Glen Dale, Md., one of the two office addresses on the website. Went into the building, no name on the door of Suite 309. Went in and asked the young lady at the desk if there was anyone at CBI. She told me that CBI uses their office and that someone would be with me. I waited 25 minutes only to find out that the CBI professional had left and would return in one hour. I live in the neighborhood, needed some lingerie and have been meaning to stop by this BOB and support. I'm a busy, vaccinated, frontline ICU RN, but I finally had the time today! I stopped by the Starbucks before coming and took my drink with me, totally forgetting to leave it in the car. I walked into the store, heard talking behind the wall and decided to wait (I didn't want to roam without some direction). While waiting, I subconsciously decided to take a quick sip of my coffee (I know, that was bad) just as I was pulling my mask up, a woman ran from the back demanding I pull my mask up and ran for the hand sanitizer. Okay, sure. She then informed me food and drink aren't allowed in the store. Okay, yeah, I should've thought about that, sorry. I totally was wrong, but something in the delivery of the rules made me decide not to return. I could've been invited to trash my drink. She could've offered to have me leave it somewhere so it wouldn't spill. I might've even left to place my cup back in the car and return. Sux, first impressions are everything. Jasmine and Dee helped us and they were incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and picked really great bra styles for us all. We all left with bras, I got two and will come back for the one that wasn't in my size. They had a loungewear special so I purchased two sets. I plan on coming back soon because I was not impressed by the "Fenty" brand and have truly found the most comfortable, but cute intimates I've ever worn. 10/10 and it's a black-owned business. read more

Dealing with the change in your body as you are going through surgery and cancer. What a complete joy it was to experience Cherry Blossom!!! I do not feel like they were putting on a kind face for me. You can not teach kindness. It has to be in your heart. During the interview, they must know how to make sure that the potential employee is kind, gentle and desires to help women who need a friendly person that can make you feel at ease. I look awful under my clothes and hate removing my clothes. During my appointment, I was removing my clothes without feeling at all uncomfortable. I am now looking for excuses to visit. Loved my experience here. Aeisha was kind and helpful, giving tips on how a good bra should fit and sit on my body. I came for a bra fitting and was able to book my appointment the same day. The shop was very cute and i eyed a few products i need to come back for. I did end up purchasing one of the bras in my fitting.. didnt plan on it and certainly wasnt pushed to make a purchase but thats how pleased i was with the experience (and the bra). I was looking for a bra that fits and had been having such a hard time getting my correct size at other stores. So many stores in the area swear that they fit for bras and yet the bras never work for me. I had a lovely time a Cherry Blossom. The woman at the front desk greeted me and made me feel immediately at ease. My fitter was knowledgeable and the mission of the company brought tears to my eyes. I would NOT recommend this place. bras are beautiful but expensive. I payed $200 for 2 bras when I could have gotten a cheaper bra somewhere else. But i was thinking maybe their quality would be better than more popular brands. in the past i've bought cheaper bras and they did not mess up like Cherry Blossom Intimates bras. You would think paying that amount of money for a bra, it would be a little durable. It's absolute trash. The wire started to come out on the sides , when i don't wear it as often. It was not machine washed, it was hand washed so how could that happen. And on top of that, their bra left a terrible mark on my skin. They measured me correctly so i don't understand why the bra hurt my underarm so much. Now i'm stuck with that bruise forever. Terrible Bras. Very uncomfortable when wearing. Please save your money and look elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

This place came highly recommended. I stopped by and explained I did not live in country and was not able to be seen, I scheduled an appointment a week later. I received a call 15 minutes before my appointment asking if they could push it back to by thirty minutes due to an emergency. I arrived a few minutes early and it turns out the emergency was a zoo, branding meeting. I was not impressed. I visited Cherry Blossom Intimates for the first time last Friday for a waist bead tying and free bra fitting. I was so looking forward to it for many reasons. The advertisement on their IG page mentioned waist beads being $20 and there being an option to shop for bras after the fitting. The young lady who measured me for the bra was very kind, and seemed to know what she was doing. Although, her initial measurement was off bc we sized down, and that bra fit just fine. I ended up buying it at $100. They had no other colors in stock to purchase. The other size initially quoted had no available stock to try on or buy in store. Was hoping that if a planned event was taking place, that the selection would be better. I was fitted for the waist beads first. When I arrived, there was only one style of waist beads left. No mention of the difference in price being double + what was advertised. Wasn't told that until I was rung up at the time of closing. I was told that the other beads sold out and I was getting the higher quality one ,which was more. No signage or explanation beforehand! I was basically charged $45 after being told $40 from the quote in the ad of $20. The young lady who made the beads was kind and working on her business but could have been more professionally dressed. She was also disorganized with her supplies. Your boutique is advertised as 5* and I was expecting a completely different experience. Nice location and a few nice things on display but I saw very little merchandise. We found products that worked great for my body type and then pulled similar styles. They have bras, panties, pajamas, hosiery, and more! I'm leaving this review from an experience I had 2 years ago. I had a trip coming up and wanted to buy new underwear. I made an appointment for sometime between 7-8pm. When I got there I wasn't acknowledged but understood they were with a client. It took about 15-30 min before I was helped. My fitting was great but there wasn't a big selection for my size and not many color options. I bought 4 bras and 3 panties. Part of my order had to be shipped because it wasn't in stock. This is where things went crazy. I received a call stating none of the items I ordered were available. I was told I would get a refund. A few days went by and there was no refund. I tried calling the store and there was no answer. I left messages and there was no call back. I commented on a post on their Facebook page and was told the refund was issued. I was directed to call my bank. I did call and there was no refund issued to me. This went on for a month. Finally I asked my credit card company to do a charge back. I think Cherry Blossom issued my credit to another customers account. This was frustrating because no one would speak to me to help resolved it. It left me annoyed. read more

I don't ever leave reviews but yesterday upset me so I wanted to share my experience. I found out about CBI from some fellow DMV influencers and I have been wanting to make the trip out to visit for a long time. I had another engagement nearby so I was super excited to finally make an appointment for an express fitting and traveled from NW DC. My appt was originally meant to be at 3 but I spoke to CBI and pushed my appointment to 3:15 pm to accommodate for traffic. I was JUST about to arrive at the town center at 3:15 on the dot when I got a call from an associate to tell me if I wasn't arriving in the next minute my appointment would be cancelled. I was disappointed that she was not at all accommodating, understanding or welcoming during the conversation. I'm summarizing, but the call was essentially: "where are you? Will you be here in the next 2 mins? If not don't bother, we will cancel." I had her on speaker in the car and friends agreed she was not friendly about it at all. Unfortunately, I made a wrong turn while distracted on the phone that made me another 5 minutes late. I assumed my appointment was cancelled, but since we made the trip I went inside anyway and I immediately felt very unwelcome. I was a pretty easy client--just wanted to be quickly measured for my bra size since I've lost weight recently and then given a few options for bras based on my needs. The associates refused to measure me even though there was at least 20 mins left of my appointment time. I was told I could guess my size and try on some options. Fine. I was late and that is my bad, so I agreed to fend for myself. Frustratingly, I wasn't given any sort of guidance nor asked what I was shopping for, what my needs are, etc. I waited patiently and was only handed 2 random bras in random sizes that were not at all my style or preference. I accepted that my best bet was just to try on whatever was handed to me. I spent 30+ mins trying items until I found something that at least fit, but I didn't like anything offered to me. And at these price points, I won't buy something unless I love it. It wasn't until I was on my way out the door that I asked if any Valentine's bras were available in my size and another associate handed me a very cute pink mesh unlined bra and a matching panty. I did purchase the items, and I really like them. They are gorgeous, but not for daily wear. My review is mostly in reference to the fact that I ultimately left feeling unwelcome and without anything I actually came to the store to shop for (bras appropriate for day to day wear). The associates were generally pleasant once I was in the store but they seem understaffed and overwhelmed. I understand that retail is extremely challenging during the pandemic, but I think that things could have been handled a bit differently. The store is gorgeous and I do think they carry great products, but I don't believe I'll be returning for a while based on this visit. read more

I was very excited about cherry blossom intimates and couldn't wait for my appointment. Maybe I had set the bar too high. I walked in to the lovely store and two staff members were talking to each other. I only wait 4-5 minutes before they acknowledged me but it seemed a little rude. Then everything seemed great for the rest of my appointment. They didn't have the size prosthesis I was told I needed so the bras and prosthesis were ordered and I was told they should be in in approximately a week - 10 days. Once the entire order arrived I would be called to setup next appointment. I never received a call but I did receive one bra at my house. After a couple of weeks I called and was told my prosthesis and 3 bras had arrived. I made an appointment for the next day and when I arrived the woman told me my fitter had not shown up. And...? I asked if I could just try everything on and was told no. A manager was called and she kindly came in on her day off with her young, polite daughter (after 30 minutes). She was nice and apologized. She then brought in prosthesis and 1 bra. I tried the 1 on with prosthesis and it seemed okay. I paid out of pocket for both bras and prosthesis and again was told I would hear once the rest of my order arrived. Since December 2nd I've not heard a word. Until I started receiving a bill for $38. I've called 2 times and have been assured that this incorrect invoice would be taken care of and I should ignore the bills. Today I received another invoice. I'm not going to call again. I hope that eventually they figure it out. BTW my prosthesis size is off slightly so they move around in the cup. Wish I could go back and start over someplace else. $800 is too much to pay twice in a few months so I've rigged these to work. Just take your time if you shop here and don't set the bar too high. Upon arriving to the boutique, Ms. Gail (her daughter is one of the owners) provided a nice tour of the shop and explained the company's mission as well as the lingerie/products they carry. It has been long a time since my last bra fitting and Ms. Dee was great with providing me new measurements and a unique variety of bras to try on! If I could give this place 100 stars I would. I am visiting from Illinois and found this place online. I truly believe in the adage "Love is in the details" and it was the details, coupled with their expert fitting knowlege, that impressed me. First, I called approximately 90 minutes before they closed and only got there 25 minutes prior. They did not rush in the least. First, they gave me a tour and the beautiful fuchsia background is actually a live moss canopy they imported from I believe Denmark. They normally have mocktails and tea for their patrons, but due to COVID they are temporarily unable to offer. They have something for everyone and a significant selection for large busted women such as me. Their bra recommendation made an instant difference in stress on my shoulders and ribcage. For anyone that knows someone who is a breast cancer survivor and needs a prosthetic and new bra fittings, there is a vast selection catered to women of color. A couple of days a week, there is a breast cancer surgeon who is on location to assist with the fittings. There is also an angel corner with a picture of the owner's mom who died of breast cancer and another lady close to her who crossed over shortly before the store opened. They also over a several journals, books, cosmetics, and personal protection items. Besides undergarments, they have lingerie and swimwear. I already know I will be back in October. read more

I visited this past weekend with a friend to be resized and get new bras. The reason I'm leaving a review of 2 stars and not less is because my experience with Deaneas fitting me was absolutely wonderful. However, the woman that fitted my friend, Miniah, was not. My friend left in tears. She was up front about the fact that she was breastfeeding from the beginning of our tour and she was told that it was alright and she could still be fitted. The woman that fitted her made her feel extremely uncomfortable to the point of tears. She was only offered two bras to try. When I asked about this, I was told that that's all they had in store. Which is fine, but the woman that fitted me gave me the option to see things that they didn't have in my size so that I could order it online if I wanted. Miniah didn't offer that at all. The fitting was quick (even though we scheduled an hour), impersonal, and uncomfortable. When I spoke to the manager about it, she made it seem like it was all just miscommunication and a misunderstanding. But again, my friend left in tears. It shouldn't have been written off as just a misunderstanding. She said that she never should have been fitted while lactating and that's where the treatment came from. My friend is also a plus sized woman and she said that the look on the employees face when she took her shirt off was hurtful and heartbreaking. When I called I wasn't looking for compensation or anything. I just wanted her to be aware of how she was treated, but it didn't seem like they cared. Overall, I love the mission of the company and what they are looking to achieve, but I personally will not go back after that. read more

My daughter and I heard about Cherry Blossom Intimates Wednesday on WKYS for their Working Women Wednesday on the Angie Ange Morning Show, which featured Jasmine Jones the Co-Owner of the store. Fast Forward to this evening, and I had the opportunity to be in the area of the Woodmore Town Centre. I walked in and was greeted by Bruche'. She was truly delightful and gave my daughter and me a tour of the boutique. She also introduced me to the owner Dr. Regina Hampton. Both Dr. Hampton and Bruche' were so warm and welcoming. The boutique is beautiful in every sense of the word. The live moss wall is a great feature from both inside and outside of the store. I had the pleasure of experiencing the art of Cherry Blossom Intimates personalized bra fitting. I'm so used to buying for functionality, but the bras Bruche' brought in for me to try were luxurious and beautiful. She was determined to find the perfect fit for me, and we did. It was like a night and day experience for me! I didn't want to take it off! I felt like a new woman. I'm looking forward to becoming a life-long patron of this wonderful establishment!
