THE FOOD IS EVERYTHING!!!!! Listen, the food is SO good, I went back two days in a row! We were seated in the lounge area the first time because there is a dress code. However, if you aren't in compliance, they will allow you to sit on the patio or lounge area. The price point is between $30-$50 per entree and worth every penny. I thought the drinks were a bit pricey though at $19 (average price point). It's a beautiful place. The bathrooms were clean! The people were nice. I did not notice any children. Did I mention the food was the bomb??!!!!
Super nice restaurant and vibe! I went for lunch with a friend on my birthday. I enjoyed the lychee martini. It was nice and strong and one of the best I've had. I loved the garlic noodles and the shaking beef. The green beans were super flavorful. I was hoping for a little something special for my birthday other than just a sparkler but maybe that's all they give out for lunch. The service was great. I'll definitely be back!
Le Colonial remains one of my absolute go-to spots in Atlanta; I end up here three to four times a year and it never misses. It's easily a top-10 restaurant in the city, no debate. I came here for dinner with a large group so was lucky enough to try a bunch of different dishes as well as some wine/ cocktails. - Le Colonial Cocktail: light and refreshing. The fish design was pretty but was actually a sticky jelly substance which wasn't as fun when it hit my lip - Crispy Shrimp & Pork Roll: So delicious! I could've eaten all of them myself - Chilled Shrimp Roll: OK with the peanut sauce but I'd probably skip these if going back - Brussels Sprouts: Amazing! They're technically a side but were perfect as an appetizer as well! - Pam Seared Chicken Dumplings: Good as well! Had a nice flavor to them! - Seabass w/ La Vong: Good but not my favorite of the entrees. I'd rather have Seabass elsewhere - Shaking Beef: Favorite dish here and definitely a must order! - Fried Rice: Some of the best I've ever had! Delish! All in all, the ambiance was great as was the service and the food... I'll definitely go ahead at the location in houston! We had a great time!

For entrées, the Spicy Chicken Stir Fry and Shrimp Stir Fry were both excellent. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and perfectly cooked proteins made each bite memorable. The balance of spice and savory was on point. The Sangria was a nice surprise--refreshing, not too sweet, and paired well with the food. The ambience on a Sunday afternoon was amazing--real chill, relaxed, and stylish without being over the top. It was the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a laid-back yet elevated dining experience. The service was really good and top notch.. Very friendly staff!
Located in Buckhead Village; Came here for a Friday afternoon lunch. I was coming from work, but please note that they have a dress code. No athletic wear. The sign is posted downstairs near the elevator entrance. Once you enter, they have a patio area and then you have to walk inside to check in. The patio area is a vibe, as the weather was nice. I was greeted by Tori, our waitress and she provided us with various menu options but thoroughly explained each dish. To drink, I order the Green Makrut Gimlet; I had 2. If you like gin, you will enjoy this. Also the lychee martini was chose and it was good. To start, we had the dumplings and the egg rolls. The dumplings, in fact, did not look appealing at first, but it was AMAZING!! I would have those again. The entrees we chose were the salmon and the beef and a side of garlic noodles. I have been wanting to try this place for a very long time; for brunch. I truly enjoyed lunch and will be back.

It's some of the most flavorful, creative, and flawlessly executed cuisine I've ever had. Every dish was both unique and perfectly crafted. The pork ribs were incredibly tender and packed with rich flavor. We also ordered the spring rolls, and they were hands down the best I've ever tasted. The wrapper was crisp without being too hard, and subtly seasoned in a way that elevated the entire dish. The ingredients inside were perfectly minced, and the use of mint was the best I've ever seen--it complemented the flavors beautifully without overwhelming them. I can't recommend the spring rolls enough. I also tried the spicy beef salad, and it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. I don't think I've ever had a spicy salad before, but now I wish I had. The spice level was bold but balanced, adding depth without overpowering the other flavors. The beef was juicy and tender, and the sweet chili and agave dressing was unlike anything I've had before--definitely a new favorite. I only wish I could buy a bottle to take home! For my entrée, I chose the duck, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The portion was generous, the skin was crisp, and the meat was perfectly cooked. On a Friday, all tables were reserved for dinner but the restaurant has a nice lounge area with tables and the same dinner menu that is first come first serve. We were able to pick a table for 2 in the lounge area immediately, and an attentive server took our orders soon after. The drinks tasted great. The lotus salad was unique, never tried lotus root in this format before, but enjoyed it. Salmon was well cooked but not dry. As someone who usually has leftovers after dinner, the portions were just right at this place. The price was a little more on the expensive side but worth it! read more

I went to Le Colonial for the first time with friends on a Saturday evening. Service was excellent and the decor was beautiful. I ordered the duck with bao buns and pickled vegetables. The duck was tender and the sauce it came with was very good! The bao buns were also very good. I just wasn't a fan of the pickled vegetables which couldn't be substituted sadly. This is more of an upscale restaurant so I probably wouldn't come here often if I lived here but it's certainly a nice experience for special occasions or guests visiting! read more

Valet parking is easy and located directly in front of the restaurant. Very quiet at 5:30pm. Beautiful decor inside and out! I absolutely love all of the seafood dishes here including the snapper! It's so flavorful! The drinks are also delicious as well. read more

I loved everything about my experience at Le Colonial! We came for a late Sunday lunch, with a reservation. The weather was incredible so we were treated to their cozy patio. The interior was also stunning. From the start, service was punctual and very warm. The waitress helped explain the menu and made our selection very easy! We got the Lotus Root Salad per recommendation, crispy egg noodles, and beef stir fry. Everything was phenomenal, but the real star was the crispy egg noodles! The flavor and crunch was perfect. The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant and we were absolutely blown away, not only from the decor to the food. Everything was excellent. We had a beet salad that mimic a tuna tart. Chicken dumplings were excellent. The papaya salad was amazing for my entrée. Le Colonial has a stunning atmosphere and beautifully presented food, but the portions were a bit small for the price. The flavors were good, just not as bold as I expected. Unfortunately, our waitress forgot about our table of four for around 40 minutes after bringing the entrées, which was disappointing for such an upscale place. Such a great fusion of Vietnamese and French food! This upscale dining restaurant has a patio, a restaurant, lounge, and even a separate party room that you can rent out. Definitely not a place that you can come just off the street as it does have adress code. We came in for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't as busy as expected. The two of us ended up splitting three small plates and one large plate and it was just enough food! We even had room for dessert. For small plates, we did yellowfin tuna tartare, sesame beef ravioli, and beef carpaccio salad. The yellowfin tuna tartare was not very big but had delicious flavor! It even came with banana chips giving it that extra crunch! The sesame beef ravioli was definitely not what I thought in my head but delicious in my mouth. Imagine Asian flavors with ground beef rolled in rice paper and steamed. More like a burrito than a ravioli. Came with three raviolis and generous amounts of sauce. The beef carpaccio was huge! It came with a full salad on top of the thinly sliced beef. I loved the crispy onions that came on top of it giving that that great crunch and flavor. We split the banh mi sandwich and it was probably my favorite thing we had had all day! The meat was so well flavored and even half a sandwich was plenty for one person. It came with additional banana chips and a small side salad. For dessert we did decide to do the chocolate cake and the presentation was great with a Tableside flambé! The ice cream on top was melting into the warm center of the chocolate cake. I do believe they have this restaurant in multiple locations so I will be going! read more

Happy hour on a Saturday....5-7PM...in Atlanta...$10 Lychee Martini's? I couldn't believe it and I'm so glad we stopped in. The TV was on for us to watch football as well so everything was absolutely perfect. Our bartenders were amazing with amazing personalities. The patio is heated as well but we decided to sit at the bar for just drinks and chicken dumplings. I will be coming here again. read more

Amazing fusion Viet and French restaurant! Ambiance is great, staff are amazing, and the restaurant is just beautiful. We tried so many things on the menu, and even the worst dish (green beans) would still be a 4/5 stars. The beef ravioli was the absolute best dish; rice noodles with very flavored beef and it's so soft! The chicken curry was a close second - very flavorful and chicken is tender. Third was the pork and shrimp rolls which were crispy, delicious, and paired well with the sauce. The garlic noodles and papaya salad also paired super well together, and the fried rice was nicely made. The shaking beef was very tender but didn't taste as amazing as every other dish and seemed a little salty. The green beans were a little soggy and not as crispy as I would have liked. Nonetheless, both were still pretty good just not knock your socks off good. read more

The menu has many things to choose from. As an FYI, the duck does come with bao buns and some other things to jazz it up, which I thought was a nice surprise. Amazing. Ambiance is great. Food was good. I gave four stars instead of 5 because Some items a little salty but good overall all. The chocolate cake dessert was awful, cool presentation, but it tasted like rubbing alcohol. The crème brûlée and Sunday were great. The service for a $1,800 bill was just ok. Didn't feel special. Everything was perfect! We were seated outside on a beautiful evening and our server, Dillon, took great care of the four of us. Our waters never went empty thanks to Norma, who was very sweet and even took a photo for us. Dillon was able to offer great suggestions for each section of the menu and we loved everything we tried. We had a couple of coconut mocktails that were delicious, amazing beef ravioli for an appetizer, and everyone's meals were incredible. Two of us tried the Chilean sea bass. It was very moist and was served with a delicious sauce. My husband had the shaken beef and my friend had the stir fry. Everyone loved their meals. We also ordered the roasted brussel sprouts and fried rice as shareable sides. The sides were large enough to split between the four of us. We ended with a delicious creme brûlée and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was so good and the atmosphere was so beautiful. We'll definitely be back! read more

The service was fantastic and the ambiance as well. This was a great place for a romantic date with my wife. This was my first time trying Vietnamese food and I was not dissatisfied. I decided to order pho on a rainy fall Sunday because what beats the upcoming winter blues better than pho?! I searched pho on my go-to app and was surprised to see Le Colonial come up in my search. When I started "unboxing" my order, I saw that the broth only filled up a small portion of the container it arrived in. I was already thinking about how I couldn't wait to tell my fellow yelpers about it, but then I tasted it and I realized it was more than enough. I've never had such nasty bland pho in my life. I actually ate the jalapeño slices just to make sure my taste buds were working. Whew ok, they still work. The pho is nothing to write home about, which comes as a surprise for such a popular restaurant. I was also surprised by the packaging. The pho noodles were stuck to the packaging which caused it to rip pieces of the container packing off. Stick to the in-restaurant experience. read more

I'd been anticipating coming here for a while, but in all honesty it didn't live up to the hype. Many influencers and top Atlanta "foodies " rave about this restaurant. It's located in the Buckhead Village District. Valet parking is available. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the decor is simply stunning. It's described as an upscale French-Vietnamese restaurant. I made reservations prior for lunch and was seated quickly. My server greeted me promptly. I ordered the French Kiss for my cocktail. It consisted of rye, hibiscus herb honey, yuzu liqueur, orgeat and elderflower. It was well made and delicious. To eat, I ordered crispy shrimp and pork rolls, ribs and fried rice. The food was good, not great. The fried rice in particular lacked flavor, but I requested chili sauce which helped quite a bit. I honestly was expecting to be blown away, but this was not the case. The food was fine, but nothing outstanding. On the other hand, the customer service was excellent. read more
I was so excited to try this Asian Fusion place which screams fine dining! This restaurant is so well decorated and makes the perfect spot for a special occasion. It is located in Buckhead village and also provides a 2 hour validated parking. I have been twice, once for happy hour and once for my birthday dinner. They are very strict with reservations on weekends so show up on time. The staff here is so kind and accommodating! They make the experience even better! The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. I had an amazing birthday dinner at Le Colonial, table for 10. Management was really gracious about number of guests. They allowed me to update my table to 11 - I just called in advance. Parking is easy. Valet was full on a Thursday night at 7 pm but there was some street parking and parking garage. We came and enjoyed happy hour while we waited for the rest of the party to get there. They have great drinks specials on the menu, including the lychee martini. We also tried the chicken dumpling off the Hh menu. For dinner, I shared the snapper, Brussels sprouts and fried rice. Everything was delicious. Our server was attentive. The staff were SO incredibly friendly! From the hostess to our server Olga! She was patient, welcoming & checked on us frequently. There were also no delays with drinks or meals. Ambience was 10/10. Nice background music but soft enough to allow conversations without straining. Only reason for the 4 stars is because the food was not seasoned that well. We had to pepper & salt up to give it better taste. More on the bland side. Drinks , however, were phenomenal! Will be back. read more

The outdoor dining area is covered and heated. It will be comfortable barring any strong winds.
What is the parking situation like?
There is an unground parking garage for retail parking, but it does fill up extremely quick so try to go early. There is some street parking but it is not reliable
Do they still have a dj in the lounge? If so, what days?
They do not. Music is played over the speakers via the sound system.
Can groups of 6 receive individual checks instead of just 1 check for the entire table?
They usually do only 1 check from the times I've been there. I believe you can put 2/3 cards down to split equally but they don't itemize it.
