We had an amazing experience at Le Colonial celebrating our anniversary. Since entering, the ambiance is great, it almost feels like you're in the White Lotus. Our server was so sweet and accommodating. Star dishes of the night were the ribs small plate, and the shaken beef. The portions were a bit small for the price point but it made it easier to taste a little bit of everything.

Le Colonial is a Vietnamese chain with the ATL location located on the second level of Buckhead Village. Everything from curry to duck to spring rolls delicious fried rice and more. Head to the back for a more casual, lounge vibe with patio seating as well.

THE FOOD IS EVERYTHING!!!!! Listen, the food is SO good, I went back two days in a row! We were seated in the lounge area the first time because there is a dress code. However, if you aren't in compliance, they will allow you to sit on the patio or lounge area. The price point is between $30-$50 per entree and worth every penny. I thought the drinks were a bit pricey though at $19 (average price point). It's a beautiful place. The bathrooms were clean! The people were nice. I did not notice any children. Did I mention the food was the bomb??!!!!

I went to Le Colonial for the first time with friends on a Saturday evening. Service was excellent and the decor was beautiful. I ordered the duck with bao buns and pickled vegetables. The duck was tender and the sauce it came with was very good! The bao buns were also very good. I just wasn't a fan of the pickled vegetables which couldn't be substituted sadly. This is more of an upscale restaurant so I probably wouldn't come here often if I lived here but it's certainly a nice experience for special occasions or guests visiting!

Super nice restaurant and vibe! I went for lunch with a friend on my birthday. I enjoyed the lychee martini. It was nice and strong and one of the best I've had. I loved the garlic noodles and the shaking beef. The green beans were super flavorful. I was hoping for a little something special for my birthday other than just a sparkler but maybe that's all they give out for lunch. The service was great. I'll definitely be back!

Le Colonial remains one of my absolute go-to spots in Atlanta; I end up here three to four times a year and it never misses. It's easily a top-10 restaurant in the city, no debate. The French and Vietnamese fusion gives the menu a personality you don't find anywhere else, and every dish feels like it was crafted with intention. The service is consistently sharp, warm, and on point, which is a rare combo these days. The chicken and mushroom ravioli was the star for me this time. The flavors were ridiculously good, rich yet balanced, the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate what's happening on your palate. The patio is always a win, cozy and inviting even on cooler nights. Inside, the décor nails that elevated, colonial-era charm without feeling stuffy. It's elegant in a way that sets the tone the moment you walk in. If you're looking for a place that delivers atmosphere, flavor, and service every single time, Le Colonial deserves to be on your shortlist. I'll keep coming back.

Valet parking is easy and located directly in front of the restaurant. Very quiet at 5:30pm. Beautiful decor inside and out! I absolutely love all of the seafood dishes here including the snapper! It's so flavorful! The drinks are also delicious as well.

Beautiful tropical oasis! The restaurant is a bit dark lol It can get very crowded I recommend a reservation. Food and drinks were good. It can get pricey. Parking garage next door or valet is available.

I loved the ambiance here as it was upscale but relaxed at the same time! I came here for dinner with a large group so was lucky enough to try a bunch of different dishes as well as some wine/ cocktails. - Le Colonial Cocktail: light and refreshing. The fish design was pretty but was actually a sticky jelly substance which wasn't as fun when it hit my lip - Crispy Shrimp & Pork Roll: So delicious! I could've eaten all of them myself - Chilled Shrimp Roll: OK with the peanut sauce but I'd probably skip these if going back - Brussels Sprouts: Amazing! They're technically a side but were perfect as an appetizer as well! - Pam Seared Chicken Dumplings: Good as well! Had a nice flavor to them! - Seabass w/ La Vong: Good but not my favorite of the entrees. I'd rather have Seabass elsewhere - Shaking Beef: Favorite dish here and definitely a must order! - Fried Rice: Some of the best I've ever had! Delish! All in all, the ambiance was great as was the service and the food... I'll definitely go ahead at the location in houston! We had a great time!

I came to Le Colonial last year and they had an amazing happy hour at the bar. I was very disappointed to find out it has since been removed.

Le Colonial delivered on both flavor and atmosphere. We kicked things off with the Spicy Chicken Coconut Soup, which was rich, aromatic, and had just the right amount of heat--an ideal appetizer to warm things up. For entrées, the Spicy Chicken Stir Fry and Shrimp Stir Fry were both excellent. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and perfectly cooked proteins made each bite memorable. The balance of spice and savory was on point. The Sangria was a nice surprise--refreshing, not too sweet, and paired well with the food. The ambience on a Sunday afternoon was amazing--real chill, relaxed, and stylish without being over the top. It was the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a laid-back yet elevated dining experience. The service was really good and top notch.. Very friendly staff!

It had been a long time since we'd last eaten here, and the food and service didn't disappoint. We tried the fried whole red snapper, and it was absolutely delicious.

Ask the Community - Le Colonial - Atlanta

If I select Outdoor dining, as it's the only selection available for the date I'm looking at, given how cold it's been, would we be comfortable on the Outdoor patio? Is it heated/covered?

The outdoor dining area is covered and heated. It will be comfortable barring any strong winds.

What is the parking situation like?

There is an unground parking garage for retail parking, but it does fill up extremely quick so try to go early. There is some street parking but it is not reliable

Do they still have a dj in the lounge? If so, what days?

They do not. Music is played over the speakers via the sound system.

Can groups of 6 receive individual checks instead of just 1 check for the entire table?

They usually do only 1 check from the times I've been there. I believe you can put 2/3 cards down to split equally but they don't itemize it.

    Is the food halal?

Unsure what the producers of their meat are. But you can ask them if it’s cornerstone beef ? But I highly doubt it is halal. I have yet to hear about it being halal.

Hi - Unfortunately, my server forgot to pack my green curry shrimp. This was for check 133571. Can you please advise?

Hi! I was your server. We kept your curry in the fridge just in case you came back for it! We've tried to contact you multiple times. Let me know if you still want it. Thanks!

Can I or your DJ play my single? I am Jewleyouse, a head strong rapper artist from Chicago, determined to leave an impact on the rap game.

Probably not, this is an upscale restaurant.

It was suggested as a perfect date night or…read more"girls night" spot on TikTok, which was great because I was in town celebrating my birthday with my best-friend. When you walk in the mood is instantly set with by the low ambient lighting and decor. Being that the theme & cuisine is Asian fusion, they really put a lot of effort into transporting to visually to an Asian oasis. We were seated at a table in the main dining area, but there's also a full bar with ample seating and very nice view. The seats were very comfortable and the tables are spaced in a way for intimacy. They also have music playing the background & the playlist was diverse with music ranging from K-Pop to R&B. Now on to our meal! The menu is pretty straight forward and broken down into apps/small plates, mains/big dishes, and a separate menu for cocktails. To start off we got drinks: lychee martini 10/10 & "cucumber salad" 8/10. Both were very good. The ingredients used make the drinks very intriguing and definitely something you've probably never tasted. It's suggested to keep an open mind when trying their cocktails. For food we had the shrimp wontons 10/10 (sauce was so good ... a little spice to it), the salt and pepper shrimp 8/10 (a little salty but fried well), the Thai basil fried rice 10/10 (the fried egg on top and the pickled cabbage was a great touch), and last the lobster pot 10/10 (presentation alone would make me go back to visit ... this dish was so good and flavor full). Overall my experience was great and I would definitely make it a priority to visit when I come back.

I came here on Aug 6 for My Birthday. But before that I called on Aug 3 to inquire about…read morereservations and the GM Dante was so nice and accommodating. He assured me that my request for an non-tradtional dinner reservation could be fulfilled. He also informed me that they offered 2 hour parking validation in the 1010 parking deck. So I made reservations for the 6th from 630p-1100p. That particular day they also had a love band. So Dante reserved the high top bar tables for me which was 4 that sat upto 8 ppl. It was perfect b/c when I got there I had 1 friend waiting and then as we ordered food and drinks more ppl came through, and then some left and that was throughout the night. It was perfect. No waiting on opl not splitting bills just come enjoy buy what you want and leave when you want. The set up was EXACTLY what I wanted. SERVICE: Starting with the phone call to make the reservation Dante the GM was really nice an accommodating as I mentioned. I just hate I didnt get to meet him, b/c that day was his one day off. But nevertheless he had everything don't just the way i asked and I was grateful for his attentative nature. We had Yaz as our server and she was amazing to say the least! She was attentative and made sure everyone that came in was properly taking care of. She was personable and quite friendly which isn't that common these days. With everyone wanting a tip for bare minimal service it was refreshing to see someone who seemed to like her job and did it with ease and was on top of her game, so there for she deserved th3 tips she made from us that night. I didn't pay for anything (hence it being my bday), and I still tipped her. That's how good she was. And when I go back I will definitely ask for her section. The hist that checked us in, I believe his name was Mike. He was also very nice. There was a table next to pur high top tables and I asked if my mom could sit there and he said sure as long as they didn't need it, b/c my mom couldn't get up on the barstools that good. And so her and another friend's mom sat there. So worked out perfect AMBIANCE: The restaurant itself was really nice. I enjoyed every part. It was loud and the band was nice. At first on the appearance of the band I didn't know what to expect, but all in all they played a variety of really nice music and it wasn't over powering like they thought they were at a concert like most bands in restaurants. FOOD/DRINKS All I can day here was it was all soo very good. All of my friends were impressed and every person stated how they would have to come back b/c it was so nice. The drinks the food everything. I dont think Iate one thing I didn't like. Only thing I had that I mentioned to the server Yaz was that the octopus tail was a bit chewy amd that's it. The drinks were AMAZING. For me it is all about presentation and the had great presentation and tasted as good as they looked. One drink called the Good Time Girl was soo good and it came out with all these bubbles. It was amazing. They had a appetizer special 3 for $39 and me and a friend order 2 and so we tried 6 different things and it all was good. We had the calamari, grilled octopus tail, chicken wings, lettuce wraps, mussels, and oysters. It was ALL SOO YUMMY! We had a great time and it was perfect for how I wanted to celebrate. I would definitely come again hands down. The only downfall was that night the parking for 2 hours wasn't working properly so I parked on the street, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant that was something with the garage I suppose.‍ So I definitely recommend this place. It's good for date night, hangout, drinks or a light bite. You won't be disappointed.
