THE FOOD IS EVERYTHING!!!!! Listen, the food is SO good, I went back two days in a row! We were seated in the lounge area the first time because there is a dress code. However, if you aren't in compliance, they will allow you to sit on the patio or lounge area. The price point is between $30-$50 per entree and worth every penny. I thought the drinks were a bit pricey though at $19 (average price point). It's a beautiful place. The bathrooms were clean! The people were nice. I did not notice any children. Did I mention the food was the bomb??!!!!

Beautiful tropical oasis! The restaurant is a bit dark lol It can get very crowded I recommend a reservation. Food and drinks were good. It can get pricey. Parking garage next door or valet is available.

Super nice restaurant and vibe! I went for lunch with a friend on my birthday. I enjoyed the lychee martini. It was nice and strong and one of the best I've had. I loved the garlic noodles and the shaking beef. The green beans were super flavorful. I was hoping for a little something special for my birthday other than just a sparkler but maybe that's all they give out for lunch. The service was great. I'll definitely be back!

Valet parking is easy and located directly in front of the restaurant. Very quiet at 5:30pm. Beautiful decor inside and out! I absolutely love all of the seafood dishes here including the snapper! It's so flavorful! The drinks are also delicious as well.

Le Colonial remains one of my absolute go-to spots in Atlanta; I end up here three to four times a year and it never misses. It's easily a top-10 restaurant in the city, no debate. The French and Vietnamese fusion gives the menu a personality you don't find anywhere else, and every dish feels like it was crafted with intention. The service is consistently sharp, warm, and on point, which is a rare combo these days. The chicken and mushroom ravioli was the star for me this time. The flavors were ridiculously good, rich yet balanced, the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate what's happening on your palate. The patio is always a win, cozy and inviting even on cooler nights. Inside, the décor nails that elevated, colonial-era charm without feeling stuffy. It's elegant in a way that sets the tone the moment you walk in. If you're looking for a place that delivers atmosphere, flavor, and service every single time, Le Colonial deserves to be on your shortlist. I'll keep coming back.

It had been a long time since we'd last eaten here, and the food and service didn't disappoint. We tried the fried whole red snapper, and it was absolutely delicious.

I loved the ambiance here as it was upscale but relaxed at the same time! I came here for dinner with a large group so was lucky enough to try a bunch of different dishes as well as some wine/ cocktails. - Le Colonial Cocktail: light and refreshing. The fish design was pretty but was actually a sticky jelly substance which wasn't as fun when it hit my lip - Crispy Shrimp & Pork Roll: So delicious! I could've eaten all of them myself - Chilled Shrimp Roll: OK with the peanut sauce but I'd probably skip these if going back - Brussels Sprouts: Amazing! They're technically a side but were perfect as an appetizer as well! - Pam Seared Chicken Dumplings: Good as well! Had a nice flavor to them! - Seabass w/ La Vong: Good but not my favorite of the entrees. I'd rather have Seabass elsewhere - Shaking Beef: Favorite dish here and definitely a must order! - Fried Rice: Some of the best I've ever had! Delish! All in all, the ambiance was great as was the service and the food... I'll definitely go ahead at the location in houston! We had a great time!

I came to Le Colonial last year and they had an amazing happy hour at the bar. I was very disappointed to find out it has since been removed.

Le Colonial delivered on both flavor and atmosphere. We kicked things off with the Spicy Chicken Coconut Soup, which was rich, aromatic, and had just the right amount of heat--an ideal appetizer to warm things up. For entrées, the Spicy Chicken Stir Fry and Shrimp Stir Fry were both excellent. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and perfectly cooked proteins made each bite memorable. The balance of spice and savory was on point. The Sangria was a nice surprise--refreshing, not too sweet, and paired well with the food. The ambience on a Sunday afternoon was amazing--real chill, relaxed, and stylish without being over the top. It was the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a laid-back yet elevated dining experience. The service was really good and top notch.. Very friendly staff!

Located in Buckhead Village; Came here for a Friday afternoon lunch. I was coming from work, but please note that they have a dress code. No athletic wear. The sign is posted downstairs near the elevator entrance. Once you enter, they have a patio area and then you have to walk inside to check in. The patio area is a vibe, as the weather was nice. I was greeted by Tori, our waitress and she provided us with various menu options but thoroughly explained each dish. To drink, I order the Green Makrut Gimlet; I had 2. If you like gin, you will enjoy this. Also the lychee martini was chose and it was good. To start, we had the dumplings and the egg rolls. The dumplings, in fact, did not look appealing at first, but it was AMAZING!! I would have those again. The entrees we chose were the salmon and the beef and a side of garlic noodles. I have been wanting to try this place for a very long time; for brunch. I truly enjoyed lunch and will be back.

What an incredible experience at Le Colonial. The food was excellent, and every recommendation from our helpful waiter was spot on. The absolute standout was the ribs -- a true 10/10. I had to stop myself from ordering another round, especially since they were just the appetizer. The shaking beef, also recommended by our waiter, was a fantastic choice. I can't wait to go back and try the duck for dinner.

When I think back on all the ways I've described food over the years, I'm not sure I've ever used the word unbelievable. But the food here truly is--unbelievable in the best way. It's some of the most flavorful, creative, and flawlessly executed cuisine I've ever had. Every dish was both unique and perfectly crafted. The pork ribs were incredibly tender and packed with rich flavor. We also ordered the spring rolls, and they were hands down the best I've ever tasted. The wrapper was crisp without being too hard, and subtly seasoned in a way that elevated the entire dish. The ingredients inside were perfectly minced, and the use of mint was the best I've ever seen--it complemented the flavors beautifully without overwhelming them. I can't recommend the spring rolls enough. I also tried the spicy beef salad, and it ended up being my favorite dish of the night. I don't think I've ever had a spicy salad before, but now I wish I had. The spice level was bold but balanced, adding depth without overpowering the other flavors. The beef was juicy and tender, and the sweet chili and agave dressing was unlike anything I've had before--definitely a new favorite. I only wish I could buy a bottle to take home! For my entrée, I chose the duck, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The portion was generous, the skin was crisp, and the meat was perfectly cooked. The tea rub on the outside was an inspired touch, pairing wonderfully with the duck's natural richness and adding a layer of complexity to the dish. The cocktails were just as impressive as the food--crafted with the same attention to flavor and balance. And the service? Impeccable. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an amazing experience. This place is an easy five stars. Unforgettable food, exceptional service, and a dining experience that raises the bar.

Ask the Community - Le Colonial - Atlanta

If I select Outdoor dining, as it's the only selection available for the date I'm looking at, given how cold it's been, would we be comfortable on the Outdoor patio? Is it heated/covered?

The outdoor dining area is covered and heated. It will be comfortable barring any strong winds.

What is the parking situation like?

There is an unground parking garage for retail parking, but it does fill up extremely quick so try to go early. There is some street parking but it is not reliable

Do they still have a dj in the lounge? If so, what days?

They do not. Music is played over the speakers via the sound system.

Can groups of 6 receive individual checks instead of just 1 check for the entire table?

They usually do only 1 check from the times I've been there. I believe you can put 2/3 cards down to split equally but they don't itemize it.

    Is the food halal?

Unsure what the producers of their meat are. But you can ask them if it’s cornerstone beef ? But I highly doubt it is halal. I have yet to hear about it being halal.

Hi - Unfortunately, my server forgot to pack my green curry shrimp. This was for check 133571. Can you please advise?

Hi! I was your server. We kept your curry in the fridge just in case you came back for it! We've tried to contact you multiple times. Let me know if you still want it. Thanks!

Can I or your DJ play my single? I am Jewleyouse, a head strong rapper artist from Chicago, determined to leave an impact on the rap game.

Probably not, this is an upscale restaurant.

When it comes to…read moreVietnamese food in metro Atlanta, I think this restaurant is among the better options and my Asian/Vietnamese foodie friends generally agree. Where this place lacks - at least in our experience today - is in service and ambiance (even by casual Vietnamese restaurant standards). Hu Tieu My Tho opened in October 2019 and is located in the popular Hong Kong Supermarket shopping center on Jimmy Carter Blvd, near I-85 exit 99. Locals know this as the hub for the Vietnamese community in Atlanta. On weekends and holidays, it can get crowded. The restaurant name comes from the Vietnamese dish "hu tieu," which is a clear rice noodle dish, and "My Tho," which is the specific southern city in Vietnam where this style of cuisine was perfected. This is not a pho restaurant. Instead, this place specializes in both hu tieu and "mi" (egg noodles) as well as other dishes like Vietnamese steak and eggs. It's fairly unique, which is a big part of the draw and appeal. Here's what three of us had: A1. Goi Cuon (2 for $5.50) x2 - spring rolls with shrimp and pork A3. Cha Gio (2 for $5.25) - fried egg rolls D15. Ca Phe Sua Da ($5.99) - Vietnamese coffee H3. Hu Tieu Nam Vang ($14.50) - Phnom Penh-style Rice Noodle Soup - char siu, shrimp, pork liver, pork heart, ground pork, quail egg, squid H10. Hu Tieu Bo Kho ($14.99) - Beef Stew Rice Noodle Soup - round and flank beef, carrots M5. Mi Hoanh Thanh ($14.50) - Wonton with Egg Noodle Soup - char siu, wontons Everything was fresh and tasty. When it comes to the hu tieu, the restaurant gives you the option of soft or firm noodle texture. In addition, you can get dishes "dry" (no soup) or with soup. If it's your first time, you should try the traditional way with soup. I really like the variety of hu tieu and mi offered here; for example, my friend likes the Phnom Penh-style noodle soup, which is Cambodian. Overall, I found the food to be solid all around. After we were initially seated and served, the staff never checked on us again. I think this was partly because they were busy. I noticed at least two other tables having the same problem we did -- having to flag down a server. As for ambiance, seating was tight. I actually refrained from ordering an extra dish because of the lack of table space. And, while not uncommon for Vietnamese restaurants, multiple tables weren't immediately cleaned. Also, the men's restroom was dirty. I'd like to return and try one of the steak and egg dishes; for example S1. Chao Xiu Mai ($15.99), S2. Banh Mi Chao Dac Biet ($18.99), or S3. Chao Bo Steak / Bo Xao ($16.75).

This place is located in the plaza of the Hong Kong supermarket. Parking was pretty simple but it was full. Inside was quiet and there were very nice Christmas decorations. It's a very casual place.
