    Hot honey pizza
    Samantha S.

Drinks were good and there was a solid selection to choose from. The property itself is pretty cool, with both indoor and outdoor areas, which made it a nice spot to hang out even though it was busy. The pizza was decent overall. Good flavor, but the cheese completely slid off the slice. That usually points to the oven being too hot or the sauce going straight onto the dough without a light oil layer. Well-made pizza shouldn't do that, so it was a bit disappointing from a quality standpoint. Service was decently fast considering how many people were there, which I appreciated. Overall, a good place for drinks and atmosphere, with food that's close to being great but could use some fine-tuning.

What could be better than Jazz with pizza and a great beer? head on over to Monday night brewery on Trabert Avenue and every Monday evening they have a happy hour that offers an amazing jazz band.

You can find Monday Night Brewing - The Grove, slightly down the hill from the original Monday Night Brewing off of Trabert Ave. Alternatively, you can access the facility parking by Continuing from Deering and Northside Drive (you drive behind a building and there's a parking lot in the back. There's a tank with arrows from Northside pointing to the deck, which is much easier to access and puts you very close to the new taproom. Parking is free in the old lot, this new lot or along Trabert Ave (there's usually cars on both sides leading back up to Howell Mill). This new location is quite stunning with multiple exterior patios (with firepits and seating), a beautifully terraced walkway connecting the two buildings and expansive roll-up doors to the exterior. I'm not sure who designed the interior but there's a noticeable Asian motif with Japanese language posters of the movie Jaws and 2001: A Space Odyssey anchoring two walls - by the bar that's a Legendary Godzilla poster in an elaborate frame (for all my geek friends). The ceiling is festooned with rattan and reed lights, there's even a few Japanese fish lanterns along the back. I love everything about this place, from the comfortable pit-group style seating to the individual bathroom stalls. What makes this place even more special, there's food made on premise. I believe MNB took the very successful pizza setup from their Garage location and placed in in the center of the Grove making it a centerpiece and opening up this location as a destination spot (they do pizza, bread and wings). The open kitchen has two beautiful European-style brick ovens and the fragrance of fresh baked pizza dough is divine. This location also has liquor so your friends that aren't into craft beer can get their other libations on while you enjoy your 13% barrel aged stouts and lambic-style wild ales... The images I've posted are from the Grand Opening day, 2025.08.24. As you can see, it was quite busy with a line for beer exceeding 30 minutes (they have 30 taps). From comments and observations, I don't believe they anticipated the crowd that showed up - it's certainly inspiring, especially as other craft breweries are seeing declines. As a newly opened facility they were working through slowdowns and workflow kinks (you can tell that the staff wasn't yet used to the digital menus) but talk about trial by fire? Thankfully they opened up the original taproom to help with the overflow of visitors in the afternoon. By the time I left (around 6:00 PM - I arrived right at the noon opening time) the lines shortened quite a bit and things were running smoothly, a testament to their responsiveness and adaptability. I'm sure during the Grove's regular schedule it won't be as crazy, put this down as a must-visit but maybe during the week. Overall the service here was exceptional and it's some of the best craft beer produced in Atlanta. The pizza was terrific, as were the dry-rubbed chicken wings I tried. Kudos to the entire staff and the good choices made by management.

Totally unexpected fun! Last night we were caught in this typical Friday night Atlanta traffic - IYKYK - had passed by here any number of times - it was hot and we thought "how about let's wait out the traffic and have a cold beer" ... what a place!!! It was full of folks just hanging in the "beer garden" eating, laughing just enjoying a lovely night outside ....a heck of a lot nicer than sitting in traffic. There was live music too...I ordered one of their beers - called "Sauvignon Crunk" it was cold and refreshing...and right on time. But the next I ordered was called "Gasoline Dreams" even better looked like a heavy creamy blend - but it was sooo delicious and cold. The food looked amazing I wanted a pizza, but opted for the Italian Sandwich instead, absolutely not a disappointment, toasted bun, and filled with tasty fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and a delicious variety of Italian sliced meats. This coupled with the beautiful, night and fun atmosphere I will most definitely be back. They have other cocktails also if beer isn't your thing ..I saw some really nice looking margaritas (note to self :) Totally recommend it.

I love coming here for their Gluten Free Events. The Pizzas are amazing, with housemade dough and a fire oven, so good. I love that they not only have beers but also create cocktails and mocktails for those who may not want to drink alcohol or drink beer alone. Their Gluten free beer is also great. The vibe inside is set up for multiple types of experiences, whether youre having a group meet up or you are having a date, they have seats around and you can pick how you want your night to go. They also do tons of events like trivia nights and other fun things so be sure to look up their calendar!

Ordered a margehita pizza and was disappointed. There is nothing but bread and a little bit of sauce and it was burnt on the bottom. I think Monday should stick with drinks.making food is obviously not one of their best skills

Oookay this brewery got quite the glow up! Not only did they expand their indoor and outdoor space entirely, they also expanded their menu options. So, you can now come here for craft lattes, coffee, pastries from Alons bakery and breakfast sandwiches. You can come for lunch or dinner with in house homemade pizzas, salads and apps. You can now have all their craft brews AND cocktails too! With plenty of seating areas, tvs, and great vibes - you can't go wrong here. Also big plus, very kid friendly here!!

Good selection of craft beers, especially if you like dark lagers and stouts. The Grove location is a cool area to hang out in, particularly when the weather is nice and you can enjoy their outside seating areas. Service is good. We had flights of various dark beers/stouts. The standouts were the Bourbon Barrel Draft Kilt Scots Ale, Tears of My Enemies Mayan Chocolate Mezcal and at the top of the list, Many Leather Bound Books. A little pricey for some of the beers in our flights (at least compared to the craft breweries in our hometown of Asheville), but at least the pours here seemed to be 6 oz versus 5 oz most places (and even sometimes just 3-4 oz). Very good place for dark beers in any case!

We were dropped off right in front of the brewery and, wow, what a place. As soon as you walk onto the "New" property, we noticed they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There was also a huge TV screen setup with one of the college games playing. We walked inside and the friend we were meeting soon joined us. We all scanned the QR code to see what beers they were offering. Plenty of good stuff to choose from and I decided to order a flight with several different beer styles. Wifey and our friend both ordered the Vienna lager. We headed outside and found an open "picnic" table. We ordered a Margarita pizza to share and hung around for a couple of rounds before heading out. Not much more to say about this place. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back. Outstanding layout and great beer offerings. I am glad I finally made it here before the weather got too cold.

Came by to get a quick cup of coffee from their coffee shop- The Grove. Had lots of seating, both indoors and outdoors, and looks like it would be a great spot to sit and get some work done. The decor was very cute, and it was decked out for Christmas during our visit. I got an iced latte, which was pretty good, and service was great. There's a private parking lot outside and spots are ample. Definitely worth checking out.

Love this place to stop in for a beer while going thru Atlanta. The Grove is a new part of the original location. Their beer selection is great. Love the blood orange IPA... Blind Pirate. Crew is great even with a busy crowd. Parking on site. You may have to park on the street coming to the brewery. They have food. Worth the stop in for beer lovers and those that enjoy z gum atmosphere. Kid friendly too!

For the last 7 years, we have celebrated beer and friendship with you here at West Midtown and the Garage on Lee Street. We never miss an Anniversary or a special release. Especially when Peter takes the time to pair chocolate. We even made many trips from Cumming GA to drive thru and pick up beer during the Pandemic. Thank Goodness laws changed for breweries and we can now drink like regular ppl and not have to buy six tickets and get a glass. Yesterday, we celebrated The Grove. At West Midtown. It's beautiful. Lots of parking. Two entrances, Two Exits. Right on the belt line. The Grove is an Extension of the West Midtown brewery. . There is onsite pihza, wings, etc. a coffee bar. Plenty of bathroom s. We had a great time yesterday. It was great to see all of the crowds and our beer friends celebrating the Grand Opening.of the Grove.

This place is very unique and extraordinary! I really enjoyed sitting by a fire sipping my Smashing Pumpkin drink!! The bartenders were fast and friendly. This is a great place to relax and unwind with friends!

Damn good hot honey pizza and charcoal grilled wings.

They are also great brewers. Between High Card and Blue Tarp, there is something for everybody. Plenty of inventive styles and flavors, without the try hard vibe you may experience at other places. Bartender was really nice and friendly, and we felt welcomed. I loved the Key Lime IPA and also the White Queen which has one of the best tastes with a slightly spicy kick of habanero. Pricing is almost the same as any other breweries. This place is very casual and relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly, kid friendly, host music shows, art markets, and let girl scouts sell their cookies. There is plenty of free street parking available in front of the brewery. Definitely the place to go for great craft Brews, live music and all sorts of funky, inclusive, fun events. Can't get much more welcoming. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

The beer selection was posted right on the bar--it was extensive, and we were genuinely excited about the options. After looking it over, we both decided to go with beer flights to get a good taste of what they had on tap. For food, Wifey ordered the Chicken Tenders with French Fries, and I went with the Golden Chicken Sandwich. The beer flights came out quickly and were clearly labeled. While we sat at the bar, some old-school hip-hop played in the background. It kept us nodding along while we sampled our beers. Not long after, our food arrived--hot and fresh. The chicken tenders came with fries, and I managed to sneak a few--they were perfectly crispy. My sandwich really hit the mark--crispy chicken with great texture and solid flavor. I was chatting with our bartender and learned they have a full-service restaurant upstairs, so of course I had to head up for a little recon. As soon as I reached the top, I was warmly welcomed by the host and staff. I let them know I just wanted to check out the space. Upstairs had a completely different feel from downstairs. While the lower level had more of a laid-back, neighborhood bar atmosphere, the upstairs was bright, modern, and a bit more refined. I even noticed some outdoor seating, which we'll definitely have to try next time. One thing to note: the beer selection upstairs isn't as extensive as what's offered downstairs. I headed back down, and Wifey and I ordered another flight to share. At one point, I looked over and said, "I could honestly stay here all day."
