We ordered the lamb chops, halibut, Brussels sprouts, and enjoyed two glasses of Chenin Blanc. The lamb chops are recommended medium, but my friend opted for medium-well. There is a disclaimer on the menu that if you order a different temperature, the dish can't be sent back--but he was happy with his choice. We had numerous appetizers and all of them were delicious. This first time trying Crudo(fish) and it was so good. I simply loved the mussels (no picture provided), they were cooked to perfection and the sauce was so magnificent. The crab and artichoke dip had a citrus flavor but was a delight. And Kenny, our server was very kind. For our appetizers I had the Apres salad, Rockefeller oysters and baenki caviar (which was stellar). We enjoyed the espresso martini and the cowboy cocktail which are definite must tries - when we come back we're offering these again for sure. Something unique about my experience with this restaurant is the fact that I have ordered the same thing every single time. The lamb chops are always something I look forward to, and I don't really find myself interested in anything else on the menu! I decided to go for no appetizers this evening, and went straight to my main course. I did order a red wine, it was the French Bordeaux, Cru Monplaisir. There's nothing I like more with my steak or lamb chop then a full-bodied red wine, and I was disappointed to find that it was served... Chilled? Again, simply a choice or preference of temperature, but for me, I want my red wine to be room temperature. That way I can feel and taste the full body of the grape. It wasn't a pleasant shock to the system to feel the cold red wine after a bite of lamb. It just was off, and in the future, I really urge Yebo to ask their customers how they would like their wine serve served. The lamb chops were OK today. While they were seasoned well on the outside, as I got further into the shop, it was clear that the seasoning did not penetrate past that first layer. Added to that, there was supposed to be a chimichurri on the lamb chop, and that seemed to be grilled on the fire with the meat. I would've liked it a lot more if they drizzled it on top of the lamb chop as well. This is my third time here, and I think I've seen all I needed to see, and I'm ready to try something else read more

Though it was a pretty frigid day, the outdoor heaters and fur lined chairs made it comfortable and enjoyable. During this time of year, the decor was whimsical and festive for the Christmas holiday season. We were promptly seated since we had reservations. The restaurant is a little loud, and the tables are rather close to each other, especially if you sit inside. Our server, Frank, was quick, and our cocktails and food arrived promptly. We started with the mussels and Yebo popcorn. The mussels were fresh and provided a good portion to share. The Yebo popcorn was light and flavorful. While we didn't try anything that was particularly South African this trip, we did get the Lobster Linguine and the Chilean Sea bass, both which were delicious. There is ample seating at tables and the bar inside as well as special igloos outside for their winter pop up. Probably not the best place for a large party as I didn't notice any tables larger than 6, and the aisles were pretty narrow. Inside the restaurant is pretty dark but still manages to capture the beachy vibe. Our waitress was pretty good and gave good recommendations, but often interactions felt rushed. Went here on 3/14/26 for my birthday and was excited to check it out from all the social media post. Let's just say the cocktails are the only thing my date and I enjoyed. The calamari was good. Had to send back the oysters Rockefeller because they were not good at all and the presentation alone looked as if a 2yr old scooped out spinach from a can and dumped it on the baby sized oyster shell. Bronzino fish with sauce was mid, lamb chops were decent, spinach crab dip was not good. Unfortunately extremely disappointed with my most recent trip to Yebo. This previously was one of my favorite Atlanta restaurants and I was SO excited to bring an out of town friend to this vibey spot. I made a reservation for 7:15pm on a Friday. We got there early to have a drink at the bar (the frozen espresso martini is still one of the best I've ever had) we checked in originally and then checked in again at 7:05pm as the hostess asked us to. 7:30pm come and went and we still had not been seated, after a few more check-ins the hostess, she asked if we'd be okay with a hightop near the bar, otherwise we'd have to wait awhile. We agreed to the high top. Despite agreeing to this the location was less than optimal and was extremely high traffic where we were constantly being bumped into by strangers and could barely hear each other. Normally I would not complain since we agreed to this, but having had a reservation that was not honored on time and the bad service to follow made this extremely frustrating. Once seated, the service took things even further downhill. Our waiter seemed to be having a bad day and did not even greet us, and opened with "are you ready to order?". He barely came by our table. The three times during our meal that he did, he was extremely uninterested and unengaged in servicing us which was the complete opposite experience that I'd had previous times at Yebo. The food was still good, but the bad service and lack of attention really ruined the experience for us. read more

I've been here many times prior to this review however, tonight's experience definitely deserved my digital footprint. We started out with the fillet appetizer, sosaties, which was extremely tender and had amazing flavor. We then ordered the Seabass and the halibut-Both of which were cooked to perfect perfection served at the perfect temperature and were extremely delectable. Our plates were clean! While some of the dishes are very straight forward, they are executed well. As for mains, the halibut, scallop risotto and lamb chops all stand out. Make sure to get the curry cauliflower, whether you like cauliflower or not, and the curry ketchup is hard to stop eating with the fries.
