    Shrimp, quail, whipped ricotta

Stunning Decor & Fresh, Flavorful Flavors I visited for a girls' night and we had a wonderful experience. The ambiance is stunning--featuring a flower-covered ceiling, a beautiful bar, and plenty of seating. The service was excellent, and the drinks were a major highlight; both the cocktails and mocktails were impressive, especially the Sunset in Tyre and the Habibi Colada. The food was incredibly fresh and vibrant. We started with the quail, whipped feta, and shrimp, followed by the brussel sprouts, batata harra, and a mixed platter. While everything was delicious, the quail, brussel sprouts, lamb, and Lebanese rice were the true standouts. Highly recommend for a stylish night out!

    Salmon done right!

Zakia is that girl in Buckhead right now! If you're craving elevated Lebanese cuisine with a chic vibe, put this on your list. The falafel? Perfectly crispy and seasoned. The salmon was cooked just right! Very flavorful, tender, and beautifully plated. And don't skip out on the Brussels sprouts, easily one of my favorite bites of the night. Bonus points for the hibiscus mocktail, which was refreshing, well-balanced, and the perfect way to kick off Dry January without sacrificing flavor or fun. Great food, beautiful ambiance, and a menu that delivers across the board. Ideal for date night, girls' night, or a solo dinner when you want to feel a little elevated. I'll definitely be back

    Lamb shank
    Bruce K.

Came here for a birthday. Inside it's very pretty and fancy. The servers were great and was very accommodating. For foods, I ordered the Lamb Shank which was braised in red wine. The red wine was very faint, and I think I just had a bad cut of the shank as it was pretty lean, so it was lacking that flavor along with the juice that usually comes from a shank. It came on top of some grains which I thought was very tasty. I did get to try other dishes as well, such as the lamb chops. Those were awesome and I would definitely recommend to get that. The Tabbouleh was also good, so if you're trying to find a good one, Zakia has it. Also another dish I thought was worth thinking about getting was the Kafka kebab. It was great as well and it was full of flavor. That paired with like a rice or something saucy would be perfect. Tabbouleh perhaps? Otherwise, parking is validated for 3 hours if you come and eat here which was appreciated. They do have valet, but parking in the garage and just going up the stairs was easy enough. They did have a small treat for the birthday guest, which I appreciated. Overall, the meal was great and it the vibes were great. I would recommend the lamb chops if you are trying to decide what to get.

They have small plates so you can still eat things even if you are lot much hungry. Maze Trio is a good sharing appetizer plate which gives you taste of various things in one go ! Service is really good . When asked for leftovers they gave me fresh pita bread The Servers keep checking with you if you are ok. Ambiance is really nice ! Due to glass doors it gives you a outdoor feeling in natural sunlight inside

Amazing food and service. We were there as a group and starting from the hostess desk the welcome was terrific. It's a large restaurant with a very convenient valet parking. Good was amazing, fresh baked bread witha nice variety of dips Chickpea Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Labneh and Hazelnut Muhamarra. My favorites were the Baba Ghanoush and Muhamarra even though it's difficult to have favorites. Great variety of Hot Mezze which started with Grape Leaves stuffed with lamb, rice, tomato and Kafta Kebab, Chicken Tawook Kebab and Grilled Salmon I had not tasted Lebanese rice before and with almonds and vermicelli it was a unusual new experience. The vegetarians loved crispy Brussels Sprouts. Service was excellent. Water glasses filled exceptionally quickly. A very memorable experience.

What a delightful evening at Zakia to celebrate my birthday . My wife and I went at 8:30, and there's valet available. There's also three-hour free parking in the deck below the restaurant. First off, the interior is well-designed, with columns located throughout, giving it a chic look! I wish I had taken pictures to show you. But let's get to the "meat" of it all! I went during Buckhead Restaurant Week, which had an amazing set menu -- a sampler, so to speak, of their offerings. This included chickpea hummus, baba ganoush, labneh, spinach and cheese rolls, grape leaves, and falafel. The entrée I selected featured chicken and Wagyu steak kabobs. The sides included cucumber salad, Lebanese rice, and harissa. Overall, I thought the selection of appetizers was great. I think the star of the show was the falafel -- it was moist and full of flavor. Probably one of the better falafels I've had here. As for the chicken kabob, I thought it was well-seasoned and flavorful. However, the Wagyu kabob might be a different story. I know it's Wagyu, but to be honest, I couldn't really tell the difference between that and a regular USDA steak. Additionally, there was some seasoning on top that wasn't really my favorite. Overall, I'd give this place a 4/5. I thought the flavors were solid, but there's just so much other Middle Eastern competition around Atlanta that I wouldn't rank this as the best of the best. That said, I'd still come back for a nice evening out.

    Deconstructed Baklava
    Constance J.

My first Atlanta food stop set the bar HIGH. @zakiarestaurant -- a Lebanese restaurant in Buckhead -- and y'all... this was my first time trying Lebanese cuisine, and I was genuinely impressed. But let's talk about the real showstopper: the dessert. A deconstructed baklava that I literally cannot stop thinking about. The pistachio gelato? Insane. The textures, the balance, the flavors... everything worked together so beautifully that I'm convinced this dessert lives rent-free in my mind now. I honestly don't know who could duplicate it. If this was my introduction to Lebanese food, consider me converted. Atlanta, you did not disappoint

    Honey harissa salmon
    Devon B.

This is one of the prettiest restaurants in Atlanta and their food matches the vibes set. I went for my fiancée's birthday dinner and we shared a bunch of mezze and mains which were all amazing. I think the standout was the honey harissa salmon. The service was also very good. She made sure the pacing of courses was good and gave us extra time when we were full after the mezze. We ended the meal with the Turkish martini which was a combo of espresso martini and chai. It is my new favorite espresso martini in Atlanta. I would recommend going to zakia for any occasion you have. They have something for everyone!

Affordable valet, so just pull up and get out so you can make your reservation on time! (it's one of those Atl places). We were told there was a short wait to sit in the flower room, which was ok and worth it. Very beautiful space to dine in, with indoor fountain flowing behind the table. our server was especially sweet and attentive (short, fare skinned with facial piercings). We started with super light and fluffy pita with olive oil, grape leaves, octopus and lentil soup. The soup seemed like the chef was playing it safe, I would have liked a little more mediterranean seasonings but it was still really good (once i added squeeze of lemon). Grape leaves were about some of the best I have ever eaten, highly recommend. The octopus was the right level of tenderness BUT overly charred. smoke city in your mouth. moving on to the branzino served with rice. 8 out of 10. flavor, crisp, perfect deboning, just lightlyyyyyy too much charred taste. rice was pretty good, bland but executed well with the vermicilli type grains we were given a complimentary dessert plate for pir celebration and it included the most decadent chocolate in all of the southeast. Overall a great choice for dinner if you want to step out but not break the bank. Extremely reasonable pricing.

An amazing, unique spot in Buckhead. The restaurant features Lebanese cuisine, so you get a different experience from the famous Persian restaurants around the town. The restaurant was gorgeously decorated, featuring huge classical stone columns, crystal lights and a spacious dining area. The food was different from most Middle Eastern restaurants in Atlanta and tasted amazing. The most interesting dish I tried was the quail. Not only was quail rarely seen in restaurants nearby, but the sour-sweet sauce was unforgettable. For entree I tried the lamb shank. Meat was tender and fresh, and the Jerusalem artichokes tasted juicy and crispy (it's very different from artichokes!). Also, do not miss their seasonally changing vegetable sides! Currently they are serving the grilled asparagus with Meyer lemon labneh. The yogurt had some lemon zest and toasted pumpkin seeds which paired well with the asparagus. Previously they had e.g. roasted whole broccoli; it was also good. While they change the sides, they do not change most of the items on the menu. It would be more exciting if they offer more seasonal dishes! The staff were friendly and generous. Plus the restaurant was not packed with people so you should get your food in a reasonable amount of time.

The food is fantastic! The ambiance is fancier than I would've expected but lovely all the same. I've had a few of the kabobs and think that the kafta is the best, surprisingly beating out the filet kabob. Also, the lamb shank was absolutely delicious. I think that will be my order moving forward. As for the service, I loved meeting Ryan, Zakias grandson, who educated us on the menu. And Til and Jack are both great bartenders. 10/10 stars!

Absolutely the best meal we had while in buckhead! The lamb chop was full of flavor and tender. The service was excellent and every dish recommended was so worth it. Our server was Til - he was great! It's decorated beautifully too! You MUST check this place out!

    Dessert Baklava

We made a same day reservation and dined at Zakia on a Saturday night. It's stunning inside the restaurant, very cozy and intimate for dinner. Our server was very warm and welcoming and took the time to explain the menu and the dishes, including the specials of the day. We tried the hummus of the day which was really delicious. We also got two cocktails, the lychee and the mint condition. Both tasted good, but the alcohol was very light/minimal. The branzino and steak/vegetable kabobs were good. Baklava was a new dish for us to try. Would definitely return.

Absolutely Incredible - Best Meal I've Had While Traveling!…read more I travel all over the country for work, and I can honestly say Delbar delivered one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment I sat down, my bartender Taz took exceptional care of me. I wasn't familiar with the menu, so I trusted her recommendations, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every single dish she chose was outstanding. I started with the fresh pita and hummus topped with the mushroom, shishito pepper, and egg addition. The pita was warm, fresh, and unlike anything I've had before. The hummus was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The chicken wings were phenomenal, perfectly grilled with incredible flavor and just the right amount of char. The highlight of the night was the lamb neck with the Polo Sefid. The lamb was unbelievably tender and flavorful, and paired with the saffron rice, it was one of the most memorable dishes I've ever eaten. What truly elevated the experience was Taz's service. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about the food. Her recommendations made the entire meal unforgettable. If I hadn't trusted her guidance, I would've missed out on an amazing culinary experience. Beyond the incredible food, Delbar has an atmosphere that is truly special. The entire restaurant feels warm, welcoming, and almost familial as if you're being welcomed into someone's home rather than simply dining out. The lighting is absolutely gorgeous, creating the perfect ambiance without feeling overly formal. The decor is tasteful and elegant, the bar area is stunning, and the dining room strikes a perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. Even the approach to the restaurant and the outdoor space are beautifully designed. Every detail feels intentional and contributes to an experience that is as memorable as the food itself. Delbar has officially become a must-visit anytime I'm in Atlanta. I'll absolutely be returning, and next time I'll be bringing family all the way from Reno, Nevada so they can experience it too. Thank you Taz! Thank you, Delbar, for an unforgettable evening!

I noticed the peach and lemonade drinks were nearly empty (see my photo), but since I was getting a soft drink from the fountain it didn't cause me an issue. Their fountain isn't balanced and an excess of CO2 caused the dispenser to spit out mostly foam and it took a long time to fill my small cup.
