A few things I already had (extensive Oxo products which I swear by, graters, zesters, spatulas, peelers, ice cube trays, I could go on). I resisted the temptation to buy the handy long-handled spoon that would be perfect for scraping the bottoms of jam or peanut butter jars. My companion and I giggled over a couple of "must haves"--unicorn shaped ice cubes anyone?--but the display was impressive. But kitchen gadgets are just a start. Bowls, knives (I now know what a ceramic knife is), pots, pans, and items better described by others here. it reminded me of a Sur La Table or Williams Sonoma.
