I bought several pans and have spent the past year trying to return them…read moreonline after this store's manager (who sold me the goods) absolutely insisted: 1) the non-stick material was "hardened" and would last, in her example over a decade of ongoing personal use; and 2) does not contain PFAS. Well the pans' non-stick material scratched immediately (silicon tools only, as instructed) and have lost coating down to the steel (so those flakes are probably in my food); and I looked up the material warnings from the Le Creuset website as mandated by CA law and lo and behold it is confirmed there is PFAS in the coating. The manager insisted all sales are final and my only recourse was to go through the company website. DO NOT TRUST THE MANAGER AT THIS STORE AS SHE WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO UNLOAD A SALE, as she did to us. I've been buying Le Creuset for decades, for gifts, for my kitchen collection, and am pretty sure after this experience I'm never going back. Utterly dissappointed.

A few things I already had (extensive Oxo products which I swear by, graters, zesters, spatulas, peelers, ice cube trays, I could go on). I resisted the temptation to buy the handy long-handled spoon that would be perfect for scraping the bottoms of jam or peanut butter jars. My companion and I giggled over a couple of "must haves"--unicorn shaped ice cubes anyone?--but the display was impressive. But kitchen gadgets are just a start. Bowls, knives (I now know what a ceramic knife is), pots, pans, and items better described by others here. it reminded me of a Sur La Table or Williams Sonoma. Just when I thought I was going to get out of there without a purchase, I discovered the perfect pasta/ramen bowl (pictured) to replace one I had recently broken. Durned you, LeRoux Kitchen!!!

Working from a small folding table and calling themselves "Stonewall Kitchen", the stall was successful, selling all stock. The operation then branched out into selling wholesale, and by 1993 they were approached by Crate & Barrel to produce 2,500 jars of Orange Cranberry Marmalade. To increase production capacity, Stonewall Kitchen purchased and renovated an 18th-century barn in Kittery, Maine. By 2000, they moved to a larger property in nearby York. A visitors area was added to this facility in 2003. As of 2022, Stonewall Kitchen is now owned by TA Associates. The brand is now available in 42 countries and the York facility receives over 500,000 visitors annually. My extended family and I visited the Stonewall Kitchen Company Store & Café this past summer while we were vacationing in York. The location is just gorgeous and features every Stonewall Kitchen product imaginable in the store. We loaded up on quite a few of our favorite products and even discovered some new ones; lots of free samples too! We also decided to stay for lunch in the café, which features delicious menu items made with Stonewall Kitchen products. I ordered the "Lobster Mac & Cheese" (Montebello organic torchiette pasta, fresh local lobster meat, mascarpone, fontina, asiago, cheddar, served w/ mixed greens & classic Italian dressing), my wife had the "Lobster BLT" (fresh local lobster meat, cherrywood-smoked bacon, celery, green leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, housemade basil mayonnaise, buttered brioche, served w/ dill pickle spear & housemade Maine potato chips), our older son had the "Turkey Club" (sliced roasted turkey breast, cherrywood-smoked bacon, garlic herb cheese spread, cucumbers, green leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, red pepper jelly, sliced sourdough bread), and our younger son had the "Mac & Cheese" (Montebello organic torchiette pasta, mascarpone, fontina, asiago, cheddar).
