When my wife and I came to this store in December to purchase a Christmas present, we were very happy with the process and purchase. Sarah was friendly and helpful and made us feel reassured with our purchase by telling us if there was ever anything wrong with it, just "bring it back and we'll exchange it." My wife asked even if we use it? "Yes!" Fast forward a few months, and the first few times using it, we noticed a small hole in the enamel as shown in the picture. Not anything to affect the cooking, but perhaps worried it may get larger with more use. Not to worry, Sarah had said just bring it back and they would exchange it. Upon returning to the store, I spoke with a young gentleman who looked at the hole and told me that I would probably have to go to the website and file a claim, then ship it to them and they would ship me one in return. I'm here at the store I thought, it would be nice if we could take care of this without the trouble of shipping such a heavy object. He seemed doubtful but said he can get someone else to take a look. Someone else came and I recognized her as Sarah, the one we purchased the oven from initially. This time her demeanor was completely different. Because I was attempting to return something instead of buying something, she seemed annoyed rather than helpful. When I showed her the hole, she was completely dismissive, and tells me all of them have these holes, its part of the cast iron and the process. I would honestly be surprised if every single dutch oven Le Creuset makes has one of these holes. But maybe they do? She sounded very adamant about this. After much resistance she agreed to exchange it for another. after taking it out of the box, she asked me in an accusatory tone. "Has this been used?" Yes we have used it a few times, but it has been cleaned and scrubbed with the polish and brush we also bought from here. It was spotless. Abruptly she says, "Sorry there's nothing we can do, we don't take used things after COVID." I wanted to remind her she said we could bring it back even after we used it, but I realized I wasn't going to get any further in this conversation and just left. Reviews are always glowing when employees are performing for sales, but the real test is how they handle other aspects of running a business. I will continue to use my $400+ dutch oven with a small hole, and every time I do, instead of being reminded of the nice Christmas present from my wife, I am reminded of the less than stellar experience I had while dealing with this store and their customer service. read more

I came here today (1/1/26) in search of a 9qt round Dutch oven. I've used a 5qt for years and with our growing family, when making a larger meal with guests required more space. Driving to this outlet is a trek. I happened to be nearby and decided to stop in. I was greeted by Jacob the "Store Manager". Most items were 30% off with a table of clearance items at 40% off. I overheard him tell others, and he told me, that these were 40% off discontinued display items due to having the plastic handle that is oven safe up to 390*. However the upgraded metal handle that was 500* oven safe was at the same price, but 30% off. So when factoring paying for the pan with the plastic handle at the higher discount + a metal handle separately, it wasn't much more to just get the Dutch oven with the metal handle already installed. Myself and several others had opted to do this. On top of this, Jacob told us that because they were display pieces there were no boxes. When I went to pay, I paid the 30% off price with the assumption that my pan had the metal handle already. It was ALL a lie. Jacob rang me up, went to the back to secure my pan in the box and sent me on my way. Before leaving I double checked my pan at the car. The box itself was pretty beaten up, had a tear in the side. Opening it up I turned the lid over and lo and behold it was the black plastic handle, not the metal one that I was sold on. With my receipt and the pan in box, I went back to the store and confronted him. He tried to brush it up as being tricked by the "new" label, but the label was clear as day with a picture of what was inside, a black plastic handle and an old damaged box. Fortunately, he replaced it and I checked before driving home, but this would have been a different story if I hadn't. On top of that, I had asked if the color labeled Cobalt, the one I was purchasing, was discontinued. It wasn't anywhere on the Le Creuset website and nor was it on the display of colors above the register. He assured me that it wasn't and it was a "flagship color". Well, another lie. Colbalt was discontinued several years ago. All that to say, he wasn't honest, intentionally put a cheaper pan in my bag, and lied about the color. read more

I love this store The staff is so nice and the quality of their cookware is exceptional. They have this amazing new 6" tall 3 quart rice pot which comes with an inner lid for cooking perfect rice My daughter has been looking for a tall pot with a small diameter to bake small loafs of bread in. This is perfect for bread baking! This is perfect for one pot one person cooking. I also got color matched silicone pan handle covers and silicone pot handle covers. Another exciting addition are their magnetic wooden trivets which make it so easy to place pots on the table or in the refrigerator, because they magnetize to the pot bottoms. read more

As someone who loves to cook, this store sings to me! I dream about having a kitchen stocked with shiny Le Creuset in Caribbean blue, peppered with Marsaille, a sprinkle of Teal Blue, and topped in Merengue. A girl can dream, can't she? Le Creuset cookware is incredible! it is so well made and it makes your food better. seriously. If you are braising short ribs, their enameled cast iron Dutch oven is a must! Keeps the moisture in and creates a sealed environment for the ingredients to slowly roast and maintain their flavors. For the best baked salmon, one of their oblong stoneware dishes keeps the fish moist while creating crispy skin, right in your oven. Their baking pans and trays are just as magical! As are their accessories. I have their salt & pepper mills in Caribbean, which is an ombré blend of blues. They work great and look gorgeous on my counter. In February, they have all of their heart shaped items displayed together. Love the heart shaped Dutch Oven which is perfect for smaller meals. And the heart skillet would make a tasty and charming huge chocolate chip cookie, brownie or cornbread. The outlet store is beautifully styled and is full of light. There are several white tables that brilliantly allow their signature Cerise Red shine. and is the perfect backdrop for all of their colors. Prices are definitely better than at retail stores, but let's be real, they are still expensive. These are investment pieces for people who love to cook and know the nuanced difference of preparing food in Le Crueset. For me, until I win the lottery, I will slowly add to my collection one piece at a time. While I love their classic red, I'm sold on the Winter Blues series that includes the colors of the sea. read more

Being an avid cook, I have always wanted a set of Le Creuset cook wear. In November I took the plunge and purchase several pieces. I was told that the items are second quality, but the items I selected are perfect looking. My husband and I picked out the Caribbean blue color and got to picking out our pieces. I got a 5.5 quart oval French oven, a 3 quart soup pot and a 10 inch cast iron skillet. I also picked us a few accessories, two coffee mugs, and a utensil crock. Jamie and Trudy were fabulous and very helpful. My total was just shy of $500. Since then I have picked up a butter dish and some baking dishes. I am happy with everything I bought, and will continue to add to my growing collection. read more

July 2023 we bought a Le Creuset frying pan for my mother. she used it once to fry eggs for breakfast. Mom is a senior born in 1944, Unfortunately she didn't like it because its heavy and it wasn't very non stick, I could see the eggs stuck to the buttered pan ( I was honestly 100% surprised by this). I called the store (because I didn't want to drive all the way to Woodburn for nothing) and told them that my mom didn't like using it because it was too heavy and asked for a refund or exchange for one of their lighter teflon pans or something mom could use. The sales rep said it shouldn't be a problem. I did drive all the way there but they wouldn't exchange it because my mom used it once. I aways thought Le Creuset guaranteed and stood behind their product since they are so expensive. after some research I found there are other enamel coated iron cookware for a fraction of the price, and just as good. Do not order from the Le Creuset site unless you are 110% sure you want to keep the item, In the age of Amazon, I thought any returns to Le Creuset would be free. Silly me. I bought a sauté pan/lid. When it arrived, I decided that it was too small....return shipment was on my "dime". I printed out my Fed-Ex return label w/o checking the cost....yes, I know, dumb. Unfortunately, after the fact, I found out that it cost over $80 to ship it back due to the size/weight. That was more than the cost of the pan!! In other words, I basically bought 2 expensive Le Creuset pans and have nothing to show for it. Learn by my mistake: buy your Le Creuset from Amazon. read more

Excellent Le Creuset selection, with a few really good bargains -- I ruined my soup pot not so long ago, and ended up replacing it via Amazon, because I didn't know this place existed! So this time, when I realized than my small skillet just really isn't going to show up after my recent move (how do things just disappear?) -- I found my way up I-5 to the Woodburn outlet mall and sure enough -- kitchen heaven! While they don't have every single piece of Le Creuset available -- they come very close. And they have a few clearance and sale tables sprinkled across the store. The "outlet" discount is stepped, so the more you buy, the deeper the discount. --- which would be great if I were just starting out in life and needed a lot of stuff at once. But as it is -- I ended up with a color I've never bought before (she called it "indigo" blue, but the pigment is clearly aimed to be a rich, electric cobalt, or maybe Indanthrone. Indigo would be darker.) It won't exactly match my other stuff, but at 40% off, I can stand a little blue in my otherwise sunflower yellow-orange-red life. Like heaven. I love Le Creuset and was so sad to say good bye to my CA Le Creuset Outlet store, however when I met the new and improved (no sales tax) OR version it was love at first sight. Great products, great discounts, and super-helpful and friendly staff. Debbie was fantastic and she helped me to find what I wanted and stay within a budget. I can't begin to express what a wonderful experience we had with the management and employees of this store. My husband and I visited the Woodburn Outlet store just before Christmas and purchased many pots/pans. I am an avid cook and have wanted to begin a collection of Le Creuset, but could never bring myself to purchase them and always "got by" with what I had. Let me just say that these are worth every penny you spend on them and you won't be sorry. There is a reason every professional chef on tv is using these. The food actually tastes better and the clean up is amazing. All that being said, let me get back to the customer service story. One of the many things we purchased was a roaster that was not a Le Creuset brand, but another brand sold by them with the exact same warranty. The roaster was priced at 50% off and I loved the tall sides for casseroles. Anyway, the first time I used the pan I noticed a chip of enamel appeared on the outside bottom of the dish. It was very small, but I was concerned given it was the first time I used it and I had decided to purchase a dish that was not the Le Creuset brand name. Mind you, I am EXTREMELY careful with my cookware. I do not cook with high heat, let cookware cool before I hand wash with Le Creuset washing devices, towel dry and lovingly oil any exposed cast iron rims before nestling them back into their Le Creuset padded felt discs to keep them from bumping against each other in storage. (THESE PANS ARE WORTH EVERY STEP) I called the customer service line and they sent me an email about how to replace the pan. I was unhappy with the process which stated that once I mail my pan back at my expense, they would determine if the damage was due to faulty workmanship on their part or damage caused by insufficient care on my end. If they determined it was my fault that caused the damage, my pan would not be returned and I could purchase another pan from them at a reduced cost. This process could take several weeks. To say the least, I was very unhappy with this. I didn't want to be without my brand new pan for several weeks, given I just purchased it and had used it exactly one time. Also, I knew I did nothing to create the chip, but what if they did not agree. After all I did buy this at an outlet store. My husband, who had invested in these pans after my touting their exceptional quality, was a little underwhelmed by this experience and by the warranty response. He called the Woodburn outlet store, where we purchased the pans, and spoke to an employee about his lack of satisfaction on this warranty. She said she would talk to her manager (who was on vacation) and get right back to us. We received a call back from the manager, taking time out of her vacation, to address our concerns and to assure us that they stand behind their products. Even though it is out of the norm of their policy, we were able to take the roasting pan back into the store and they found another roasting pan just like this one at their store in Arkansas and was having it shipped directly to us. When we went into the store with our pan to return it, I was pleased to receive friendly service as we returned the roasting pan and the manager called us (again during her vacation) and confirmed that my new pan was being shipped. This is what customer service is all about. While they could have said, "that is just our policy and you have to mail your pan in and see what is determined", they went out of their way to make us happy and assured us of the quality of our purchases.
