Been looking at getting an EDC knife and I was able to call in and check their stock since a few of the items I was eying was out of stock on their website. & lucky for me they had just a few in stock at their store! So I drove down & was assisted by Zach/Zack who was incredibly friendly. He gave me a handful of options for me to try out. I have small hands less than 3 inches wide. I sent my knife in for the Lifetime Sharpening service and to repair a very tight and gritty blade release. My knife came back in a timely manner but the blade looked like it was sharpened with a bench grinder and the blade release wasn't addressed at all. I was so excited for my first visit to the factory and purchase of another knife. I had family visiting and made it part of our tour. Everything was such a disappointment. The female customer service rep was disengaged and unenthusiastic. The selection was so limited. There were no prices on the knives that were there. You had to ask for each price. Most models were available at other stores. The prices were super high in comparison to most department stores. For instance a knife quoted for 180.00 you could go to Cabellas or Sportsman Warehouse and get it for 160.00; or 135.00 at a gun store like Northwest Armory. Also the factory part was closed off. I had a lot of questions and the reps seemed bothered most of the time. Thanking about trying another brand from now on. The family ended up purchasing SOG knives. read more

I've loved my benchmade folder since the day i bought it. But it's been an EDC for two years and it was getting really hard to put an edge on it. I went to the website and took advantage of the life sharp program. I sent my knife up 8 days ago via UPS ground and I got it back today. When i opened the box, i thought i was looking at a brand new knife until i opened it up and saw a distinct mark near the logo that confirmed it was really my knife. This thing is as sharp as the day I bought it and they oiled and cleaned it. All this cost me was the shipping from me to them. They took care of the rest. I am beyond satisfied with the experience and the care i received. I look forward to carrying this knife daily until it needs this service again in a few years. i work at a benchmade dealer and will NEVER sell another benchmade product again due to the company's decision to NOT honor the so called lifetime guarantee. i have carried my benchmade knife for many years and always bragged on the quality and craftsmanship and truly believe it to be the best knife i have ever owned, however because you wont honor your lifetime guarantee i can NOT ever recommend any other benchmade products to any of my customers. i bought my "entourage" knife made by benchmade with a lifetime warranty and paid $375.00 for a knife that you REFUSE to warranty. I'll start off by saying flat out, their products and their quality is simply outstanding. I own two of their automatic folders and am very pleased with them. But.....I needed to return another newly purchased knife (unused, original packaging, per their instruction, etc) and am still dealing with the issue after a month. They received my return in good order and sent me an email to that effect. But then.....crickets. Since then I have contacted them 5 times by both email and by phone. Same excuses. "We're really backed Up" "We just installed a new system" "We'll get to you as soon as we can." A quick look at their return/refund policy shows me they are not following their own policy. And when reminded of that, they simply shrug it off. Finally, at the height of frustration, I placed the amount owed me in dispute with my credit card company. They are extremely good in getting my money, but do not want to return it per their policy. At this point, I see this as an interest free loan. But will that fly with them? Of course not. But what a shoddy way to treat customers. I'll not be back. And, I'll wager they do not read this forum to see how they're doing. An arrogant bunch if things do not go right. Oh, and by the way, if you call, be ready for really looooong wait times. read more
