ham & cheese crepe that came out a little pale & floppy for my liking
    Pat P.

Lovely place for lunch on a sunny day, which was my experience here. It's all outdoors with a few options for seating with shade. Order at the register and food is brought to you. The crepes are made right by the register, so it's fun to watch them be made. The service was so friendly, I feel a little bad saying this next part: the staff were not very experienced (they look to be high school students so no fault to them), so the food quality is highly variable. My friend's crepe came out beautiful with a nice golden crisp to it, whereas mine was a bit doughy tasting. It wasn't raw, but was just lacking in texture and flavor. A little disappointing considering the price point. Otherwise, they are generous with the fillings and it comes with a side salad which is the perfect compliment. If you're just going for the ambiance/experience I say go for it, if you're looking for a good crepe I would skip this one.

Ham & gruyere crepe with side salad. Delicious!

Stopped here to get a crepe for brunch before a matinee at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It's a lovely little outdoor setup perfect for sunny weather, although if it's too hot it can be hard to find a shady spot to sit. This is a place where you order and pay at the counter and then someone brings you your food. I ordered the ham and gruyere crepe. The tricky part is that their POS screen is on a very tall counter, which makes it nearly impossible to see as a short person, so I was left squinting as I tried to see what to push on the screen. Guy at the counter was no help and seemed to simply repeat, "It's just going to ask you a question..." After paying, I sat myself at the counter behind the cooking area. It was fun to watch them make some crepes before opening my book to read. After a wait, I was handed my crepe over the counter, plated beautifully. I eagerly cut into it only to discover...this was not my crepe. It was not what I ordered. The girl behind the counter apologized and then turned to her coworkers to try to figure out who that crepe belonged to, and said they would get started on my crepe right away. I then sat there and listened to the workers try to figure out a "system". It was suggested that perhaps they should be taking names, and another wondered if they should just call out orders by item. Strange that this restaurant seems to have been open for some time, yet they have yet to figure out a system to match the diners with the food. I have to say that once my real crepe was ready, it was delicious. And beautifully presented. They're a little expensive, but it was filling enough to sustain me through the day. I appreciated the inclusion of the side salad to balance out the heaviness of the crepe and the whole thing went really well together. Which is to say that the food was excellent, if only they could teach their staff some customer service and figure out a "system" to distribute the excellent food to the correct individual. As someone who works in the service sector myself, it pains me to see a good experience made lackluster by incompetence. I like the place enough that I will return to give them another chance. I really hope my next experience is more professional.

I am excited for Le petit Café because it is going to fill a nice niche in an otherwise unexplored breakfast addition to Ashland. The area is very pretty and it is nice to sit at the bar eating some crepes while enjoying the beautiful view of downtown Ashland The Crepes themselves were very tasty! I really enjoyed both the cinnamon and the berry crepe. Some of the crepes are reasonable (cinnamon at $8) but a few of them including the berry crepe was $15 which I felt like was a bit overpriced, especially when you think about it's almost double the price of the other crepes. Currently there isn't much variety but they have a few different crepes on their online menu which are coming soon but are not currently available. There is only one crepe station so the food comes out pretty slow, but at the same time there isn't that many seating options so it balances itself out. I will be excited to see how they settle after some more experience. They just opened a few days ago so I'm sure there will be some adjustments

We didn't have any food but we did have a fresh cup of lemonade and ice coffee on a hot day...the service was amazing as usual in this great friendly town of Ashland. An amazing friendly couple owns this lovely spot. They gave us great recommendations for things to do in Ashland. The ambience of this outside corner cafe is so cool...like something out of a TV show...if this spot ever needs a commercial they can give me a call. I definitely recommend stopping at this dope outside corner lounge to have an ice cold drink, and check out their other great menu options. Le Petit Cafe yes indeed,5 red and white yelping stars...I would give more stars if I could. Yes we will definitely be back.
