Luca is the best bartender I've ever met. She creates all the cocktails! Everything is delicious.

My husband and I booked a table at Alchemy for dinner before we planned to go to a concert. The ambience was so lovely, and the food was so good, that we ended up skipping the concert so we could linger over dessert an a digestif. We had the sourdough and butter trio to start, and we could have just kept ordering more of that and been perfectly happy. The bone marrow butter was especially good. And the bread was pleasingly soft even when toasted and crunchy on the outside. I got the filet mignon and my husband had the duck confit for main. Both were incredibly. The chef's artistry made you want to slow down and consider each bite. And our waiter recommended the perfect bottle of local wine to set them off. Dessert was a pear frangipane tart and a chocolate hazelnut tart; both were very nice and made a lovely close to the meal. There is an extensive list of digestifs, and I got an incredible 1998 Sauternes that truly capped the night. We cannot wait to come back to Alchemy, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an incredible culinary experience.

Excellent fine dining experience. I visited my cousin here for my bday and she showed me to all of the exquisite eateries and shopping. This little town is so quaint and lovable with GOOD food and hospitality! The wait staff is a dream....they were so attentive and genuinely good folks!!! We arrived to be a part of their happy hour and was not disappointed! When in this part of Oregon again, i will definitely pay another visit.

Food was amazing. Duck was soft, crunchy skin and wonderful sauce. Beef tartar was fresh with very toasted sourdough slices. Loved the atmosphere and decoration. Felt cozy warm and quiet environment. The dining meant to slow and enjoyable over conversation.

We visited Alchemy for a couple drinks and some snacks after work on a Thursday. The bar had a healthy amount of customers with still room for some more Drinks: the drinks were phenomenal. Very unique flavors, clearly not being stingy on the contents. Beautifully crafted and quick as well. Some of the cocktails were reasonably priced but some got a little higher than I believe a cocktail should be. (A few were $12, most were $16, and one was $18 if my memory serves but take that last one with a grain of salt) Food: the pomme frites were delicious with a ketchup that was clearly higher quality and a lemony dip for the second. These were $9 but they had truffles and garlic (?) in them and were very full of flavor so the price was worth it for a nice appetizer Located in a beautiful house like building, I look forward to trying dinner here

I have been several times for happy hour and sent family there for special occasions and the food is great, the staff professional and so kind.

Just Wow , Wow , Wow! Such an amazing restaurant. If you are a foodie and love dining for the love of new and exciting dishes, this is the place for you. Do not be turned away because of the prices. You will definitely be getting your moneys worth. I would much rather pay a high price and walk away blown away by such incredible meal than go some place for an average meal. I sat in the bar area and enjoyed speaking to the bartender who gave me excellent recommendations on what to eat. If you love mushrooms, get the mushroom flan appetizer. It was full of flavor . So good. Nothing like I had ever had. It was delicious.

I do this to gauge reactions. And here, they were super friendly and accommodating. I took a spot at the end of bar and immediately struck up a conversation with the couple next to me. They had a burger that wasn't on the menu I had been given. Apparently there is a sort of soft opening before they open for dinner with a different menu. That's cool! I had about three hours until a Shakespeare show, so I decided for the full experience: Salad - I spent nearly the entire salad experience trying to decide whether I liked the dressing or the bright citrus of the grapefruit better. What was never in question was how tasty and refreshing it was. Crab and Melin salad. Appetizer - I wasn't sure what to expect with the Beef Carpaccio. Definitely my first time with this dish. But it won't be the last time. I probably ate it wrong, but mixing the arugula and cheese was very tasty. It disappeared quickly. Main - so it wasn't really a main, but the dish came at the recommendation of the bartender. The asparagus in the description was the selling point, but the potato dumplings reminded me of gnocchi. It was almost the perfect round up to a stellar meal. Drinks - My favorite cocktail is a prohibition style drink called a New York Sour. I think I like it because the red wine tones down the sweetness of the sour mix. I asked for one and after I finished it, the bartender asked how it was and admitted she'd never made one before. I said it was okay and we talked about what I'd do different. The second one was perfect. See the pictures for a comparison of the two.

Speaking, the brisket in the Banh Mi was unfortunately tough and lacked the tenderness you'd expect from a properly smoked or braised cut. It had the distinct texture of a pre-packaged Sysco-style product, or perhaps it was a cold portion reheated on a flat top without being properly rehydrated, leaving it dry and chewy. I understand that protein carries a high food cost, especially in the current market. However, a more effective approach might be to balance the menu engineering by leaning on lower food cost items, like seasonal sides or creative vegetarian options, to offset the expense of sourcing and correctly preparing higher-end brisket. This would allow for a better product that justifies its price point, covers its own cost, and ultimately helps the company's bottom line while maintaining the quality standards this town deserves. I'd love to see a return to the quality I experienced a few years ago. All and all, despite the brisket. The service was kind and friendly.
