The back patio is one of those spaces you'd never know existed from the street. Most importantly, nobody seemed remotely concerned that a tiny Italian Greyhound had joined the dinner party. I was welcomed right in. While sitting next to a dog. He did not share. I feel like we've covered this issue before. Dad had wine, Mum had a Diet Coke, and I spent much of dinner curled up comfortably with Mum while monitoring the steak situation. There were developments. None favorable to me. But Wolf & Workman is exactly the kind of place we're always hoping to find when traveling: somewhere the humans don't have to compromise on having a genuinely great dinner just because I'm with them.
