Delicious and authentic Asian food. I never would have stopped there if I hadn't seen it on Yelp. It's a hole in the wall next to a gas station in the rough part of town and you have to park in the ally behind the place. But the food is amazing, Thai tea with boba was delish! Okay so I got the #1 and the pork or whatever ham looking meat was in it was horrific, I couldn't eat it. I got two sides and although the portions were small I only paid a dollar for each. It was fair. They were good, but I will never buy one of those sandwiches again. I will be back though maybe for some sides and a smoothie. This little place really isn't much to look at from the outside, and you won't feel better about it after you walk in the door, but the food is good. We didn't get too adventurous, sticking to bbq pork sandwiches. Went here for the first time tonight. My whole family ordered a different banh mi, and we all loved them! I had the bbq pork and it was so good!! They also sell baby egg rolls which were made fresh and really good. My favorite was the boba. The taro boba was the best I could find in this area. The boba is soft and flavorful as it should be and the smoothie had lots of flavor. They even sell the nam sausages for cheaper than most places. My family and I eat at Le Saigon as often as we can. There sandwiches are delicious. They have an amazing flavor to there vegetables and the meat is very well seasoned and cooked. But on top of this they accompany their sandwich fillings with a beautifully soft and crunchy bread. If this is not enough they have the most reasonable appetizers, the mini egg rolls are on of my favorites. And for a sweeter side they have sesame balls that just melt in the mouth! With covid going on, my family and I had not had any bahn mi in a while due to quarantine and we're craving some so we finally went out to get some. We ordered so much as usual and literally felt like we wasted our money because we literally did not enjoy our bahn mi even though we were so hungry. None of our sandwiches had liver paste in them and we weren't warn or told of that before we bought it. Had special bahn mi, mini eggrolls and a papaya salad 5 chili's hot. Bahn mi was fantastic very fresh bread and the perfect amount of heat from the fresh jalapeno. The mini eggrolls were good as a beak wetter but not very complex. The papaya salad.....beware of the heat levels. I love spicy food and ordered mine on a heat scale of 5 out of 6. Parking is hard to find, but the food is so good. BBQ chicken sandwich is delicious and only $4 can't get any better than that. Their noodle soups is also pretty good, a little spicy, and comes with some chicken which is something I was not expecting for a good sized $4 soup. Their wonton soups is also very good. I found out about this place when I was in high school and have been going there ever since! They used to be located near Modesto high and I would always go and order a BBQ pork sandwich during my lunch and a side of egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce! Been eating here ever since last year when I was working for a Grocery store. I always get the Rice plate here and Thai Tea. I am very picky with my Thai tea and love theirs. This is my new favorite Vietnamese sandwich shop, the Bahn Mi are so good, I wanted to try them all and at the price I could have. For 20 dollars my friend and I each got a sandwich, tea, shrimp rolls and the BBQ pork buns and we weren't able to eat it all. The bread is perfect (think they make it there, not sure though) it's the right amount of crisp crust to inner bread. The carrots ,cucumber,cilantro and jalapeno with the filling I got the BBQ pork.... amazing! It was totally filling and I could have stopped at the sandwich, but I had to try more because I was excited. I also tried a Thai tea with Boba and it was good, but too sweet for me. The shrimp roll was good also and I brought home steamed BBQ pork buns. Everything is packaged so it's easy to take home. It's a tiny little place, but it appeared to be very clean, there is very little seating, but it's excellent for a quick lunch. There is very little parking, but for the food it's worth it totally.
